𝐉𝐉 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏 in confusion when he felt someone play with his hair. He started smiling immediately once he inhaled her scent and he opened his eyes to be met with beautiful brown ones of his best friend. He looked at her and he wondered if he was dreaming, if she was that ethereal. How funny it was that he was just dreaming of her and waking up to her smile at him — a smile that completes his dreams.

JJ held her close to him, afraid this wouldn't be real. Afraid that he didn't wake up in the arms of the girl he was in love with, the girl who taught him how to love. He wrapped his arms around her, inhaling her scent once again and reminding himself that this was real. He felt her pull back and press a kiss against his forehead and if he were to kiss her now, he didn't think he would ever stop.

Fortunately but unfortunately, the door creaked and John B's head popped up and he sent a smirk towards the Maybank boy. JJ blinked back his annoyness from John B's interruption and reached over to the bedside table and threw an empty can with all the strength he could muster

"Dude come on" JJ scolded, annoyed "Get out of here"

Unfortunately, John B closed the door in time and the can hit the door and made a loud clutter sound as it fell onto the hardwood floor. JJ could feel the girl beneath him laughing and it made him change his expression into an admiring one and he started laughing with her. Eventually, they both stopped and he felt like he could her faint from hearing her soft and alluring voice

"I think we should get up now" Her voice made him melt in his bones

Mindlessly he nodded, not wanting the moment to end so quickly and now that he thought about it, it was good John B interrupted because then he would've kissed the life out of her and he wouldn't have regretted one single bit. Maybe next time he would swallow his nerves and kiss the goddess that haunts his dreams every night.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘, 𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐇 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐉𝐉 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐏 and once they entered the kitchen, they were met with a bunch of whistles that made JJ smirk and bow down.

"Fucking ass" Amirah pushed him and left to get cereal

"Hey!" JJ shouted after her and sat next to John B "I don't like you now"

"Bite my ass and see if I would care!"

John B leaned next to JJ's ear "You were obsessing over her again" He teased

JJ groaned "Fuck off"

"Come on" John B laughed "You know it's true"

"What's true?" Kie asked

"That JJ is obsessing over Amirah again" John B whispered

Kie shrugged "I know. He does that all the time"

"Yeah but you should've seen him this morning, this guy was full on staring at her and it was so cute" John B insisted

JJ groaned once again and got up from next to John B "I don't like you right now either"

As the day passed by, the pogues learned that there was Hurricane Agatha that was coming. Pope, Kie and Amirah was asked hy their parents if they could return home and JJ stayed with John B at the Château

Unfortunately Amirah doesn't listen and decided to get herself killed by sitting down on the beach when the rain started pouring down while having a joint in her hand. Right now, Kie would tell her to put that out because it's harming the environment which is ❛ harming ❜ the turtles but she's feeling insecure so Kie could give her a pass.

She was drawn out of her thoughts when she felt someone sit next to her. She could tell it was JJ by his breathing. She could do this thing where she could tell if it someone by their breathing. For some reason it only worked for JJ and John B always teased her by saying that it was ❛ true love's sense ❜ or something like that

They both sat there in silence while the sound of rain and waves splashing filled their ears until Amirah finally stood up from the sand and held out her hand for JJ to take

"Come on blondie" She said "I wanna show you something"

Almost immediately, JJ grabbed her hand and let her lead the way to wherever she was taking them to. The longer the walk took, the more rain splashed on the water and sand. Finally, they approached a part of the beach that he's never seen before with tapes around it that surrounded the area

Amirah led him over the tapes to a secluded part of a cave where the rocks shined and sparkled and where you could see a perfect view of the beach. JJ let out a laugh of disbelief and looked at the beauty around him

"This is so. . ."

" — Pretty?" Amirah finished off for him "Ethereal? Extraordinary? Beautiful? I know. I usually come here when I need a break you know?"

"This is so fucking awesome" JJ laughed

Amirah smiled "I've never shown anyone this before you know"

"Really?" He asked and Amirah nodded

"You're the first one other than me to come here so congratulations Maybank" She laughed and patted him on the back

JJ's head suddenly turned towards her "Wait, is this where you have been when you disappear for a few hours?"

She nodded "I'm gonna have to find a new spot now"

Amirah sat on the sand and admired the waves splashing against each other and JJ sat next to her, deciding to admire her instead. She leaned her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pressed a kiss on her forhead just like she did that morning.

After admiring the waves, they both said goodbye and went their seperate ways. That night, they both fell asleep without the presence of each other and with the heavy lingering of their hearts.
