"What are you talking about?" Damon shrugged, "She'll spring back up in just a few short seconds."

"I'm afraid not." Elijah steps into the room, causing everyone to tense up at the fact that they had all just caused the death of his youngest brother. "Things are more . . . complicated than that."

Stefan looks up from his niece's body after having picked himself up from the ground and laid her to rest nicely on her bed. "What do you mean?"

"Let me tell you a little bit about the relationship between my brother and your niece, your daughter." Rebekah comes in next, "The one that you've killed."

"When Anastasia and Kol met each other in 1901, Kol thought she was human and tried to drain her of her blood, but she used her magic to fight him off. Instantly, the two were each other's worlds." Elijah says, "But first Kol wanted her help."

"Wa -- wanted her help with what?" Bonnie asked the original as she looked over to Jeremy with a frown, seeing him standing so close to Anastasia's bed as she was the only thing he would look at.

"He wanted her help in making a dagger that would be used to kill." Klaus' voice rings angrily from the phone that Rebekah held in her hand, "And they succeeded."

The two of them were sitting in a small diner in the outskirts of New Orleans just in case there were prying eyes and ears that would report back to his siblings, all of them having compelled people in the town to make sure he wasn't killing people while he was undaggered.

"You want me to help you kill your brother, who keeps daggering you and your siblings, and keeping you all kept away in coffins for decades at a time?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying, darling. You catch on quite fast." Kol grinned.

"That's some morbid shit." She mumbled, playing with the straw in her iced tea, "Continue."

"I don't want to do it too early because I have just been undaggered not even a week ago. I'd rather not go back into a pine box so soon if my plan does not work properly." Kol tells her.

"So, why am I a part of this now?" She asked, "What if something happens to me?"

"I'll make sure nothing happens to you, darling. What kind of best friend would I be if that were to happen?"

Anastasia made a face, "Best friend?"

"Why of course, darling." Kol smirked, "We're going to be the best of friends. But, I should probably warn you, becoming friends with an original vampire means you will have lots of people after you just to catch even the slightest glimpse of the oldest family of vampires."

"What makes you think that you'll be able to protect me?" She asked.

Kol looks around before he grabs the steak knife resting on the table next to him.

Using a napkin to clean it off, Kol brings it to the palm of his hand and he drags it across his flesh, creating a pool of blood in his hand and does the same to her own, ignoring the noise of protest coming from her lips.

"There you go. Use your magic to bound our lives together." Kol tells her, "That way, I'll know when you're in trouble. It will also give you the power of that of an original."

"๐™„ ๐˜ผ๐™ˆ going to kill you both!" Niklaus screamed as Kol quickly grabbed Anastasia's hand and pulled her out of the house.

"KOL!" Anastasia cried out as she's yanked away from him, being held tightly against Rebekah's body under the demands of her older brother.

"Niklaus, you tell Rebekah to let go of her!" Kol shouted, spinning around with fear in his eyes, pleading for his brother to make their little sister release the green eyed girl.

The Mikaelson boy wasn't afraid of many things, though he did fear his father, but his biggest fear was anything ever happening to Anastasia and right now, at that moment, that's exactly what was happening..

His biggest fear happening right before his eyes.

"She has nothing to do with this! It was all me!"

"Of course your little pet has something to do with this, brother!" Niklaus screamed, stabbing the stake he was holding into the stomach of Anastasia.

As soon as the stakes goes through her body, she lets out a scream as Kol gasps loudly, doubling over the pain.

"Oh, would you look at that? They were able to feel each other's pain." Niklaus smirks, yanking the stake from her stomach, only to stab it into her chest, close to her heart. "How come none of us were aware of such things?"

"Bloody hell, Niklaus! Let her go!" Kol screams, gripping at his chest as Elijah and Marcel come out of the house, having heard all of what was going on.

"What is going on?!" Elijah asks loudly, looking at the scene that was unfolding in front of him.

"Our brother and his little hybrid pet have had plans all along to kill me, permanently." Niklaus yells to his brother, "But the best part of it all? They are able to feel every ounce of pain that happens to either of them."

Anastasia cries loudly as he takes her arm in his hands, breaking the bone in half, Kol yelling out in pain as soon as it happens.

"Marcel, take a hold of Kol."

The dark skinned male did as told, grabbing Kol by the arms against his chest, much like Rebekah was doing to Anastasia.

"Nik, please! Don't!" Kol begged as Niklaus pushes his hand through Anastasia's chest, hand gripping her heart tightly as both she and Kol gasp in pain, "Don't hurt her!"

"You brought this upon yourself, little brother." Niklaus glared in Kol's direction.

"No, no, stop!" Kol screamed, thrashing in Marcel's hold, "Dagger me! You can dagger me, or torture me, for the rest of eternity! But don't you so much as lay a finger on her anymore! Let her go! Let her go! Elijah!"

"Brother, let her go." Elijah tells his brother, only to get ignored as Niklaus retracts his hand from the girls chest, her gasping in relief that someone was no longer squeezing her heart inside her chest.

"As you wish, brother." Niklaus whispers before sticking a dagger into Kol's chest.

Kol feels the veins crawling up on his cheeks and arms as he begins to temporarily die.

"No!" Anastasia cried out, pain erupting in her chest worse than anything she had ever felt as Rebekah dropped her to the ground, letting her crawl towards where Marcel had dropped Kol's body at his feet."

She picked his head up, laying it in her lap as she stroked his hair out of his face, "No, no, no. Kol.

"Now, what are we going to do with you?" Niklaus looks down at the girl, crying over his brother's deceased body.

"You will do absolutely nothing to her." Elijah spoke, glaring at his brother as he made his way over and crouched down in front of the Salvatore girl, "Sweetheart, look at me."

Sobs left the green eyed girl's mouth as she stared into the brown orbs that belonged to Elijah, "He -- he."

"We both know he's not really dead." Elijah tells her, "He will be just fine. But I need you to listen to me carefully."

Anastasia nodded as she kept running her fingers through Kol's hair.

"I want you to get as far away from New Orleans as you possibly can, okay? Run and do not look back. When Kol is undaggered, you will be the first person that I find."

"Do not give her false hope, Elijah." Niklaus glared at his brother.

"Go inside, Niklaus! You've done enough tonight!" Elijah tells him, watching as everyone walks back into the large house, the door slamming shut behind them, "I'll keep in contact with you just to make sure you are okay and safe. But until then, you run."

"We've come to say our goodbye to her." Elijah frowns, "And we'll leave all of you to live with yourselves all because you wanted the hunter to complete his mark."

"You think she'll forgive any of you in the afterlife?" Rebekah scoffed, "She won't. She knows how to hold a grudge."

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a teenage boy about a year or two younger than she would be if she were human, a pouty look on his face.

"You know, pouting isn't attractive."

The boy turned his head to look over at her, "Yeah? Damn, guess I'll never find a date to prom then." His voice was sarcastic as he moved over a seat so they were sitting closer to each other and he held his hand out, "Jeremy."

"Anastasia." She shook his hand.

"Hmm, that's a mouthful." He tells her.

"Most people say that." She laughed, "So, why are you pouting all alone?"

Jeremy sighed, "What's not to pout about? It's just a bunch of girl troubles."

"Ooh." she frowned, "Must be real hard."

"You have no idea." He says, flagging down one of the waitresses, "Vicki, she's been waiting for someone for about ten minutes now."

"Sorry." The girl shook her head, glaring at the girl slightly, "What can I get you? But be warned, I'm going to need to see some ID for you to bu--,"

"I'm not buying alcohol." Anastasia shook her head, "Can I just get a coke, please?"

"Sure, I'll be right back." Vicki says, walking away.

"Thanks, for that."

"No problem." Jeremy tells her as Vicki comes back with her drink, telling her the price, 'I got it."

"You don't have to do--,"

"Ah, ah." Jeremy held his hand up, "I'm paying for it."

Anastasia held her hands up in mock surrender before grabbing her drink and backing away from the bar, "I'm not gonna turn down a handsome guy buying my drink. See you later, Jeremy."

"Yeah, yeah. I know, I've heard the speech a thousand times before. Don't drink too much or you'll end up like your father." Anastasia says as she walks away, "Drunk and lonely with a side of bad and short temper."

The girl walked away from her uncle and towards the large cooler where she grabbed a glass beer bottle and used her shirt to twist the cap off before she brought it to her lips and took a big swig."

"I didn't take you for a drinker."

She turned around to find Jeremy standing behind her, his own beer in hand.

Anastasia chuckled, taking another swig from the bottle, "Well, you don't know me at all so how could you have possibly known? Though, cheap beer isn't my favorite go-to drink of choice, it'll work."

Jeremy let out a laugh, looking down at his feet for a moment, "Then how about you let me get to know you?"

"Hmm, hope you are prepared for a shit ton of ranting, 'cause if we're gonna be friends, then you better be ready to not get rid of me for a while."

Jeremy smiled, "I think I can live with that."

"After that, I met up with Uncle Stefan, and we stayed in Chicago where he met Niklaus and Rebekah. The three of us make up...to an extent. But then Mikael, their father, found them and we all fled from the state."

"Then in 1994, we came back here to Mystic Falls where we stayed with their nephew Zach and his pregnant wife, Gail." She tells him, "Dad showed up and we thought he had adapted to Uncle Stefan's diet. Turns out, he was feeding off Gail and he ended up killing her, compelled Zach to forget and we all left."

"He killed a pregnant woman?"

"Yeah." Anastasia nodded, "Uncle Stefan and I traveled around some more and fifteen years later, here we are. And that's the history of Anastasia Salvatore. Questions?"

Jeremy shook his head, "None at the moment."

She nods, playing with the rip in her jeans for a moment before looking at him, "I need to -- I need to compel you to forget that I told you all of this."

"What? No!"

"I don't want to, believe me, Jere. But if Uncle Stefan knew that I told you after Elena didn't want you in any of this, then I'll be in so much trouble." Anastasia tells him, "I won't make you forget completely. I'll just compel you to lock it away in the back of your mind until you figure it all out on your own."

Jeremy swallowed the lump in his throat before he nodded a moment later, "Okay. Make me forget."

With a nod, Anastasia turns and brings Jeremy's face closer to hers.

She stared into his eyes for a few seconds, watching as his pupils dilated, "I want you to forget everything I've told you tonight. I want you to lock away your knowledge that vampires exist. I want you to lock away the knowledge of everything I let you know about myself today." She licks her dry lips, "And when you figure it all out on your own, because I know you will, then, and only then, can you remember the exact conversation that we had."

"I'll forget everything you've told me today." Jeremy repeats before he blinks and looked around in confusion, "Where are we?"

Anastasia shrugged, "We just came out here to look at the stars. But it's late, so I should get you back home before Jenna and Elena think something happened to you."

The Gilbert boy nodded his head, sliding off the hood of the car and helping her down.

Jeremy looks down at him with a smirk, "Can I drive your car?"

With a playful roll of her eyes, she pulled the keys out of the pocket of her leather jacket and dangled them in front of his face, "Don't crash my car."

He grins, snatching the keys from her hands, kissing her softly, "I promise, I won't crash your car."

"Yeah?" He spun around in his computer chair.

"Take your bracelet off." She says.

"Huh?"

"You're bracelet. Take it off."

"Shouldn't you be asking me to take my clothes off first?" Jeremy smirked, but did what she told him as she moved to sit on his lap.

Grabbing the side of his face, Anastasia stared into his eyes until she took notice of his pupils dilating, "I want you to remember everything I told you about vampires. I want you to remember everything I told you. But what I don't want you to remember is what I told you about my bond with Kol."

The vampire doesn't move, keeping up his act of being asleep. But he can't help but to laugh as the now seven year old crawls up onto the bed and used her hand to push his eyelid up.

Sitting up, he takes the girl into his arms, causing her to laugh loudly as he tickles her sides and holding her in place as she squirms to get away.

"Uncle Stefan! Uncle Stefan, stopppp!"

Stefan chuckled, bringing her into a hug, "What are you doing up, munchkin? It is way past your bedtime."

The green eyes girl suddenly gets shy as she plays with his fingers, "I'm sorry. I'll go back to my room."

"No, no, no. Come here." He stops her from leaving, making sure not to hurt her with his strength, "What's wrong? Why can't you go to sleep?"

Stefan smiles softly at the seven year old, "Wanna talk about it?" She shakes her head, "No? Okay, how about you sleep in here? Yeah?"

"Okay." She nods her head and lays on the empty side of his bed, getting under the covers and pulling them up under her chin, "Uncle Stefan?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm thirsty."

With a chuckle, Stefan gets up from the bed and makes his way to the kitchen. Coming back into the bedroom, he smiles softly as he watches the rise and fall of her chest as he watches her sleep.

Placing the glass of water on the side table, Stefan crawls back into the bed as slowly as possible so that he doesn't wake her up. Pulling the cover over him, he wraps an arm around her waist and pulls her into his chest.

"Goodnight, Eloise. I love you."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"'Cause I didn't want you to know. 'Cause I hated you and I still do."

"But not because you forced me to turn." Damon said.

"Then why?"

"Because she turned you. It was just supposed to be me, Stefan...just me."

Stefan watched his brother walk out of the room before turning to where his niece was resting. Standing up, he picks her up and held onto her body tightly as he walked up the stairs and into her bedroom, flicking the lights on so that he wouldn't trip over the shoes she was sure would be on the floor.

Laying her down, he brushes her hair back from her face before pressing a kiss to her forehead, "I'm never leaving you, kiddo. I love you, Eloise."

Stefan pulled the covers over her body before standing up and walking towards the door.

Elena stands in the doorway watching him, "Are you okay?"

"Am I okay? My daughter is dead! Of course, I'm not okay!" Damon spins around to look at his girlfriend, "She died resenting me! I missed so much of her life because I spent so long hating my own brother for turning me! I left my four year old alone with her! I watched her on her deathbed and I left her there! I came back fifteen years later, and she still hated me! So, no, Elena, I'm not okay! She died hating me! How am I supposed to make that better when I can't tell her how sorry I am?!"

"Damon....,"

"No, okay? Let's just bury her and get on with finding the cure so that I can't get drunk and mourn my daughter."

"I can't believe she's actually gone." Caroline cried, Tyler's arm wrapped around her shoulders as he tried to keep himself together for the sake of everyone else around him. "She's not gonna graduate, she won't get the chance to see what college life is like. She can't do any of that without us now."

"Come on, let's get ready to find the cure." Stefan is the first one to leave, not wanting to break down.

"Jer, you coming?" Bonnie stops as she notices that he wasn't following behind her and the others.

"Uh -- I'll, I'll be right behind you." He gives the witch a small smile, watching as they all leave, "I know you're here."

"Never thought I'd be looking at my own body from the other side." Anastasia comes out of the shadows, looking down at herself in the casket, "And they didn't even put me in cute clothes."

"Caroline tried....," Jeremy trailed off as he looked at the side of her face. "Stacie."

"Stop." She shakes her head, holding her hand up, "It's okay. I get it, Jeremy. Kol was the bad guy, I knew that from the start of him getting undaggered. Yet, he was my best friend and I loved...love him. And, even though I probably should, I can't find it in myself to hate any of you."

"You should. We killed you." He shakes his head, "I wouldn't blame you either."

Anastasia chuckled as she looks down, "Nice tattoo."

His eyebrows pinch together, "You can see it, too?"

"Yep." She nodded, tilting her head, "Look badass."

"You're reflecting."

"It's the way I cope with things." Anastasia smiles, "I, un, I need you to do something for me."

"Anything."

"Gilbert, get your ass moving." Damon walks in, "What -- she's here isn't she?"

Jeremy looks to the side and Damon follows him, staring into the empty space unknowingly that he was looking her right in the eyes. "Yeah, she's here."

"Tell him that I don't hate him. I never have but he pisses me off so much. And even though he wasn't there when I needed him the most, he's still my dad."

"She said that she doesn't hate you. She never did but you piss her off. And even when you weren't there when she needed you the most, you're still her dad." Jeremy repeats.

Anastasia wipes away her tears, "Tell him I love him."

"She said she loves you."

"I love you too, sunflower."

"Anastasia."

The green eyed girl looks up, head tilted in confusion, "Emily?"

"You must face the consequences of your actions." The dead Bennett witch tells the hybrid. "You helped murder that innocent family."

"Emily, what the hell are you smoking on the other side?" She asked, "Because I want some."

"The Gemini coven summoned us, and we made a deal. You must face the consequences of your actions."

Feeling the pain in her chest, Anastasia spins around to face the coffin where her body is laid, gasping as she notices that it's empty. "What the hell did you do, Emily?"

A loud gasp rings through the air as Anastasia's eyes snap open, gasping for fresh air to go through her lungs. Slowly, the grey color to her skin and the veins on her body disappear until her usual tan color is fully restored.

"There you go! Finally, you took forever!"

Anastasia snaps her head in the direction of the voice before she glanced around the unknown house before looking back at the figure sitting on the coffee table in front of the couch she was laying on.

Malachai Parker looks over at the hybrid with a smirk on his face, "Morning, Nattie."

"What. The. Hell?" She sits up, "I -- I was dead. They -- They killed Kol and I died. How did I--? Where the hell am I?"

AND THAT'S A WRAP ON SIX FEET
UNDER!!! I have been working on this
book for the last three years and it is
finally finished!!

I am so sad to say that this chapter
of Anastasia's life has finally come to
an end! But never fear! There will be
a sequel! I just don't know when it
will be out.

And I want to keep the Billie Eilish
song title going for the Anastasia
series, so let me know which songs
you guys think I should use next!

I'm really excited to get started on
the sequel though, so I may start on
writing out the draft on that so I can
know what I want to do. And here's
a spoiler! No humanity Anastasia!

ANYWAY! Thank you to everyone
who has read this book! Thank you to
everyone who continued to read this
book even though I never published
chapters when I said that I would!

Thank you for all of the positive
feedback and all of those who have
commented, and told me how much
they actually love this book! It means
so much to me, and I couldn't have
finished it without all of you giving
me the courage and support in getting
it finished!
