"Ah, fuck..." Kei said ad he realized that the sun was already up.

He looked at his papers and sighed loudly. Looks like his insomnia has gotten stronger.

After he reached his breaking point he couldn't sleep properly, he started drowning himself in guilt and regret once again. Yet, his mind kept going back to Yamaguchi.

To those moments when his emotions showed, when his empty eyes filled with something, making them sparkle, making them regain their green color.

He stood up and stretched, he wasn't feeling like going to work, but he knew that he couldn't just leave Yamaguchi, he was making so much progress. Kei got somewhere where no other doctor has gotten to, just a few more steps and Yamaguchi's emotional state will start getting back into it's place.

Kei walked to his kitchen and made himself some coffee, before sitting down and reading a newspaper. Strange or not Kei couldn't properly function if he didn't read a newspaper in the morning. It was a weird habit of his.

Once he was done with that, Kei finally went and took his stuff, his files and put on his coat. Another day, another step. He just prayed to gods that his mental state wouldn't shatter.

The air was getting chilly. Kei wasn't the biggest fan of that. Good thing the hospital was nearby.

The nurses greeted him as always.

"Sir, your appointment with Kuroo Tetsurou is about to start" one of the nurses warned him. Kei simply nodded before taking his white coat and heading towards Kuroo's room.

Once again, the inside was nice and clean. Just those drawings... They were terrifying.

"Kuroo, how are you today?" Kei asked as he sat down.

"I guess I'm feeling pretty well.. Though, I can't really sleep.." he said sleepily. Bags under his eyss reminded Kei of himself.

"And why is that? Something to do with Kenma?" Kei watched as Kuroo nodded slowly.

"He's been screaming.. Screaming nasty things at me.. Just now he said that I should kill myself.." Kuroo's eyes widened. Seeing hallucinations must be painful and tiring.

"Have you tried telling him to stop?" Kei suggested.

"I haven't talked with him for some time.. It hurts.." Kei couldn't help, but feel sorry for the younger male. He saw his records, he was so smart, and yet here he was talking to some hallucination.

"Why don't you go ahead and tell him?" Kei once again suggested. Kuroo nodded and said something that sounded like "leave me alone".

After some more time their session was over, Kuroo seemed a bit better and even fell asleep while Kei was looking at his drawings. It made him oddly happy.

Next up was Yamaguchi. Kei felt a weird and sickening feeling in his stomach as he started getting closer to Yamaguchi's room.

He opened the door and found him on his bed, drawing something.

"Oh hey Tsukki. How are you today?" he asked as he looked at him. His eyes weren't empty. There was something in them.

"I should be the one asking you that. I'm good, and you?" Kei asked as he sat down on the bed next to him. He looked at his drawing, it didn't include the dark figure, there was a figure in a middle of a field. There was a wall in a in front of it.

Kei had already seen that wall in other drawings, but this time it was cracked.

Kei smiled to himself. Looks like he's not the only one who reached his breaking point.

"Yamaguchi, ready to answer questions?" Kei asked, his tone was softer than before.

"Yup!" he answered cheerfully.

"So, why are you here?" Kei asked, he had already prepared his recorder.

"Because I witnessed a murder and commited one. My head was clouded" Yamaguchi answered. That was the answer that Kei wanted to hear.

"What is the person that you care or cared about?" Kei watched as Yamaguchi stared at him before smiling slightly and answering.

"I guess I care about....you.. I don't know, I want you to be my doctor forever" Kei felt that weird feeling in his stomach again.

"That's.. That's rather sweet, but why? You said that you were gonna break me and make me quit" Kei could see the change of emotion in Yamaguchi's face.

"I know, but you're nice to me, and... And you helped me open up, it made me feel much better" Yamaguchi thanked the taller male. He threw himself into his arms and pulled Kei into a hug.

At first Kei wasn't sure what to do, but soon his hands wrapped around Yamaguchi's delicate and damaged body. It was an amazing moment.

The rest of the session went by easily and quietly, which made Kei even happier than before.

"Here, give this to the doctor once she comes back" Kei said as he handed Kuroo's file to the nurse.

After asking a few more questions he headed home. For once he actually felt like he wanted to go to work tomorrow, he wanted to see Yamaguchi and make sure that his mental state will come back to normal, even if that meant taking him under his wings and showering him with something he needed the most.
