26 - confession

confession

Seungmin had an argument with himself after hanging up. He really wanted to go to her and tell her how he felt, but it was scary, and something he normally wouldn't do.

"Alright, I am gonna leave, let her sleep however long she wants," Amy proclaimed, getting Seungmin's attention. "Wait, don't go," he stopped her, making her raise an eyebrow at him. "I mean..." he sighed, "whatever, I don't have an excuse."

"What?" Amy asked, blinking a few times to even process what he said. "I thought you were trying to get with my sister, not me," she asked confusedly. "Oh god I am not trying to get with you," he frowned. "Then what are you even talking about?"

He sighed again, giving up on hiding the topic of his and Izzy's conversation. "I want to go visit Hana," he admitted. "And talk to her. Alone," he added, Amy holding back laughter. She shook her head at him. "It's funny seeing you having a crush," she commented. "Go to her, talk about whatever, I am going to annoy Minho anyway."

"Minho lets you annoy him?" Seungmin asked confusedly, ignoring her crush comment. "Right, you weren't there in the morning," she realized. "He said he likes me so I got him to go out with me," she explained proudly. Seungmin's eyes widened, not believing what she told him. "I am not kidding."

"Congrats? I guess?" He said, still trying to process it. "It's probably one of the weirdest things you told me in a while, but surprisingly I believe you." Amy rolled her eyes at him, shaking her head "Stop having stupid comments and go, I thought you wanted to talk to my sister," she proclaimed, glancing at the door. "You don't mind?"

"I am starting to think you don't actually want to go there," she sighed. "Stop wondering all the time and go. Of course I don't mind, you two are annoyingly cute together," she rolled her eyes again. "And you make Hana happy," she added, a bit more serious this time. "I want her to be happy, and if you're the one that can make it happen then I am not going to fight it," she proclaimed.

Seungmin watched her, a small smile on his face. She was an amazing sister, she reminded him of his own older sister a lot. "I'll go then," he mumbled, making the black haired girl grin. She nodded to him, watching him move towards the door. He glanced at her once more, "Thanks. Have fun with annoying Minho, I know you two can last," he said, making her smile.

Seungmin closed the door behind himself, taking a deep breath again. He wasn't prepared at all if he was honest, but he still wanted to talk to her and tell her how he felt. He hated being just her friend.

"Seungmin!" The puppy-like boy turned around, facing his best friend and his roommate. He glanced at the door of Hana's dorm again. He was right in front of them, and it felt like running away from the talk again by stopping. But he couldn't just ignore Jeongin now, could he?

"Hey," he mumbled, smiling at Soomin who was already waving at him. "Are you just leaving Hana's room?" Soomin asked, raising their eyebrow teasingly. "What? No," Seungmin shook his head, moving his hands in the air in disagreement. They chuckled, while Jeongin next to them had no idea what was funny about his answer. "I, uhm, she needed help with a project so I was just about to do that, help her with a project," he proclaimed, regretting what he said as he could see Soomin didn't believe any of that.

"Oh! You two can go with us to the library!" Jeongin offered immediately and Soomin had to nudge his shoulder. "I thought you wanted to be alone?" They whispered, making his cheeks turn red immediately.

Jeongin glanced at his best friend, looking for some help, but Seungmin just chuckled. He could see his call for help, not because he wouldn't want to be with Soomin alone or anything, actually the exact opposite, and Seungmin was aware of it. All his friends could see the way he looked at Soomin, it seemed like only Jeongin wasn't able to fully realize his feelings.

"We also have a project to work on so we should get going, enjoy your time with Hana though," Soomin winked at the younger male. Seungmin looked over at them, waiting for Soomin to walk past him before he also said his comment. If they could tease him, so could he. "The same goes for you, don't flirt with him too much or you'll break him."

Soomin grinned, shaking their head at the boy, waving at him again with a small goodbye before they took Jeongin's hand - in a friend's way of course - dragging him to the library.

"Good like, innie," he whispered, watching the two of them. He shook his head with a chuckle, turning to the door of Hana's dorm again. He just stared at the door for a second, eventually knocking, too.

It didn't take much longer for the black haired girl to get up and open the door. "Do you not have your keys?" Hana asked, thinking Amy was behind the door. She froze, seeing the chest - that definitely didn't belong to Amy - in front of her. She looked up to see the boy's eyes, feeling her cheeks get hotter. Just the way he looked at her was enough to make her go crazy. "Sorry," she mumbled, swallowing anything she wanted to say after that.

"It's fine," he mumbled, watching her. He could swear he would get lost in her eyes if he looked for long enough. "Can I...go inside?" The girl nodded right away, stepping aside so he could get in. "What are you doing here?" She asked curiously, closing the door behind him.

Seungmin smiled, looking around the place before he turned to her again. Her hair was still braided, but more neatly. He assumed she must have done them over again after she left in the morning. Her headphones were around her neck and for some reason, she was even more beautiful than normally.

"I don't know," he shrugged, making her raise an eyebrow suspiciously. He chuckled when he saw her face. "Alright, I am here to talk," he admitted. "About what?" She asked again, this time even more confused. She couldn't help it and felt a bit scared about his sudden visit. "Uhm...stuff."

"That told me nothing, minnie," Hana proclaimed, her eyes carefully observing him. Seeing the eyes of hers made him lose it completely. The inner fight he was having with himself until now didn't matter anymore, because her eyes were enough for him to lose. "Talk about us."

He blurted the words out, making her eyes widen. "I know I don't normally...express myself much when it comes to feelings," he hesitated, looking for some form of assurance in her eyes. "But I like you, Hana," he proclaimed.

Hana could swear she was as red as a tomato when she took the step forward to him, still holding eye contact with him. She hesitated for a second, but picked up all her courage and wrapped her arms around his waist, burying her head in his shoulder, hoping that maybe he couldn't hear her like that. "I like you too."

Seungmin froze when she hugged him, but didn't waste a second of it and hugged her back. He chuckled seeing her basically hide in his shoulder. His hand moved to her head and he carefully stroked her hair, making her look up at him again. "Was that so scary?" Hana nodded to him, biting her bottom lip as she stood on her tiptoes, placing a kiss on his cheek. "But this was even scarier and I still did it."

"Cutie," he chuckled, placing his hand on her cheek, his thumb brushing over her lips for a second before he leaned to her, placing his lips against hers.
