I hope the quarantine is treating you all nicely. It's the perfect time to watch some kick ass anime series and here are my personal recommendations!

It may come as a shock to some, but Haikyuu is not my #1 anime. It's actually #3 on my personal list. I'll get to what the first two are in a second.

Anyway, I put this into categories, each category has 3-4 anime series. So feel free to pick whichever you want! Without any further deliberation, let's go!!!

《ROMANCE》

I have some pretty stereotypical recommendations for romance anime, but here are my picks.

1. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (Girl's Monthly Nozaki-kun)

Honestly, if you haven't seen this YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON ONE OF THE FUNNIEST ANIMES EVER. I have no clue how many times I have rewatched this, and it's still funny. Get ready to laugh at some next level stupidity!

2. Kamisama Hajimemashita (both seasons!!!)

Tomoe can step on me. Mizuki can step on me. Kurama can step on me. I'm ready to be trampled.

This anime gives me MAJOR FEELS. It's so good, packed with romance and action, also some real good life lessons. 10/10 it's MAGNIFICENT.

3. Toradora

Made me cry. I just.... I love them all so much and the ending just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Have tissues. 12/10

《YAOI》

A lot of older yaoi series have a forceful element to them, which drives some people away. Anime series like Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi may feel some people uncomfortable. Here are some quality picks that don't have that.

1. Doukyuusei

This is a movie. The best movie you will ever see in your entire life, let's be honest here. It has everything that a good movie should have, amazing scenery, characters and their development, the most amazing animation and A HEARTWARMING LOVE STORY. Please watch this.

2. Hitorijime My Hero

:)))))) I cried. 192929/10

3. Love Stage!!

IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS THEN LEAVE AND GO WATCH IT NOW. This anime... I've watched it so many times, it's so incredible. The character designs are one of the prettiest in all 150+ anime series that I have seen. The story is so cute????????????????? Watch it!!!

4. Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu

Steamy. 12/10

《TECHNICALLY GAY》

1. Yuri on Ice

I'm sure we have all watched this, but if you haven't then why are you even here. Yuri and Victor are canon, you can't change my mind.

2. Banana Fish

Want to get your heart ripped out, stomped on, trampled, chopped up and grinded into tiny pieces? Watch this, suffer with me. Ash and Eiji are the cutest pair I have seen in my entire life and I would die for them.

3. Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist

So you're telling me Dantalion isn't gay for William and William isn't gay for Dantalion? Yeah, tell that lie to someone else. Also Dantalion is top tier Kuroo lookalike 😳😏

《ACTION PACKED》

1. Cowboy Bebop

Please watch Cowboy Bebop. A lot of people don't want to watch older anime, but this is a masterpiece on a colossal level. Spike is a treasure and should be treated as such. 10/10

2. FullMetal Alchemist BrotherHood

This is a long series so do have a lot of free time, because once you start you won't be able to stop. This anime has gone up and beyond my expectations. I love it so much, everything in it!!!! AAAAAAAAAA and let me just say I could talk about Roy Mustang FOR HOURS

3. Owari no Seraph

Borderline gay too. Has everything you ever wanted. Mika is my son and you will treat him as such. 19383929/10

1. Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

IT'S CALLED BABY CULTURE. KANNA IS ULTIMATE BABY AND I WOULD DIE FOR HER. Honestly the relationship and love between Kobayashi and Tooru makes me cry real man tears I love them.

2. Dr. Stone

Senku is god. Infinity/10

3. Hetalia

This anime has such a small fanbase and it makes me so sad, because it's genuinely one of the best ones I have seen. Please watch it!!

《PERSONAL TOPS》

3. Haikyuu!! (All seasons)

If you are here that means you like Haikyuu, but I still want to talk about it. This anime brought me so many important people and it helped get through some of the toughest moments in life. I owe my life to this anime and I love it to the end of the world.

2. Overlord (all seasons)

This anime has everything that I ever wanted in an anime. Dragons, magic, overpowered characters, amazing cast, incredible storyline, plot twists and so on. I rewatched this series tens of times and I can never get enough. This anime is just HOLY grail to me. I cannot and will not get enough of it. Ever.

And finally, my favorite.

1. Mob Psycho 100 (both seasons)

Sometimes you watch something and you fall head over heels for it, this is my case. Mob Psycho is the best anime series I have ever watched. Nothing will ever top it for me, nothing will even come close to beating it. The animation in this is otherworldly, the character development makes me shake in my boots, the soundtrack gets me hype. The stories and characters in this one, especially the growing bond between Reigen and Mob, make me fall for it even more.

I love this anime so much. It's my absolute favourite.
