... SIX WEEKS AGO

A teenager named Isla Wilson wanted lots of things in life, but right now the only think she wanted was to scream. She wanted to yell until her lungs caved and she couldn't make the horrible dying cat sound any longer. She wanted, needed, to feel her throat burn for her to shut up, for a glass of water, for relief.

Now why did Isla need to scream? Simple, her mother had sat her down and told her how proud she was that Isla was getting married. Yes, the teenager who had only ONE boyfriend in her entire life had become a fiancé to a very boring man.

The wedding was soon, and Isla couldn't help but have cold feet — it wasn't even cold feet, it was the feeling of being trapped and needed to leave faster than her parents, Chanel and Ashton, could notice.

Without thinking a scream left the teenagers throat. She stood up fast, her hair whipping around as the action and the chair she had been sitting on tumbled to the floor with a 'screech'.

"Isla!" Her mother wore a fake concerned expression as she looked to her daughter — Isla could see the anger hidden behind her mothers mask of fake love.

"No! I-I... Mom!" Isla exclaimed not knowing what to say, she just needed to scream without any words cutting her off, so that's what she did: scream.

... FIVE WEEKS AGO

"Sweetheart?" Mary, Islas grandmother cooed softly, her hand reaching out to pull her granddaughter into her arms. They felt like home.

Isla and her grandmother were standing awkwardly in the middle of the San Francisco, California airport. Mary had just gotten off a plane and found her granddaughter curled up on a shitty plastic chair. It broke her aging heart to see the damage that had been done.

"Let's go home, huh?" Mary whispered and tucked Isla into her arms and moved towards the next plane they would take.

The word home felt weird and fuzzy in Islas brain, it stung. She didn't see San Francisco like home because it's where her past sleep, a past she wished she didn't have. But Forks, she could make that her home, where hopefully her past couldn't catch up to her.

... FOUR WEEKS AGO

Islas first day was nothing but great. The people had been welcoming and clingy — which Isla found odd, but who was she to question it all?

Her first few classes were good, having met a few students who could potentially be friends? Did she want friends? That was something Isla needed to figure out, because she was scared that if she had a friend, it might turn into a mother situation where she had to runaway.

"Mike, you me my home girl Isla?" Eric gave Mike a glance as he wrapped his arm around Islas shoulder — the girl tried hard not to shake it off.

Mike looks between Isla and Eric, hidden jealousy on his face, "Your home girl?"

Jessica leans forward, "It's first grade all over again, and you're the shiny new toy everyone wants."

Isla looked down at her plate, she didn't like the idea that she was in Jessica's words "the shiny new toy."

Isla flashes a smiles awkwardly.

The double doors of the cafeteria wing open and four people walk in. Isla would say they were the most astounding people she's ever seen, but that makes her sound creepy.

Two guys, three girls, all chalky pale, purplish shadows under their golden eyes move through the room with an effortless grace, and take a seat at a table furthest from Islas.

"Who are they?" Isla leans over to Jessica and Angela.

Angela beams, "The Cullens."

Jessica leans in, switching into gossip mode. "Doctor and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids. They all moved down here from Alaska two years ago."

"They kinda keep to themselves." Angela whispered, as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Because they're all together. Like, together together. The blonde girl, Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett..."

Rosalie has long blonde hair, model beautiful and knows it. Alongside her is Emmett, big, brawny, like a weight lifter but a playful glint in his eyes.

"They're a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal." The dirty bling mutters and Isla listens — she doesn't care if the two are together, it was strange no doubt, but she wasn't going to judge them.

"Jess, they're not actually related."

"But they live together. The red haired one, that Natalie. She's with Jasper, the blonde who looks like he's in pain." Jessica plays with her fork as she talks, "I mean, Dr. Cullen's like this foster dad slash match maker."

"Maybe he'll adopt me." Angela states dreamily with her head in her palm.

Then two more Cullens enter. Lanky, with untidy, bronze colored hair. He seems inwardly turned, mysterious. More boyish than the others. "That's Edward. He's totally gorgeous, obviously. But apparently, no one here is good enough for him. Like I care." Isla can see Jessica cares — way too much, more than she should.  "Anyway, don't waste your time."

Isla hums, she doesn't like boys, why would she waste her time?

And then a little dark haired girl walks in right after Edward — she catches Islas eye. Jessica and Angela seem to notice. "Oh. That's Alice. she's really weird..."

Isla can't help but look longer than she should, the pixie-like, thin girl is light on her feet like a feather. Short black hair is going in every direction, but the style suits her wonderfully.

... THREE WEEKS AGO

Alice Cullen knew right away when she stepped into her health class that the tall yet short teenager was the one from all her recent visions. Isla sat in the empty seat beside where Alice would be sitting.  She was bitting her nail, a habit that seemed to have shown up in almost all her visions too.

Floating towards her seat, Alice beamed brightly once she reached her seat. "Hi!" Her voice sounded like bells and Isla loved it.

"Hi." Islas voice was quieter, not as bell like — Alice didn't care, she loved the way Islas voice sounded.

Alice took a seat beside Isla and waited for the health teacher to start the class.

"How are you today Isla?" The pixie like female questioned ever so lovingly.

"Good, good. How about you Alice?" The human looked right at Alice.

Alice beamed, "I'm great! Did you — "

"Okay class! Let's take some notes." The health teacher interrupted.

Alice watched from the corner of her eye as Isla just sat there, no paper or pencil. She had seen this, and it ended with Alice giving Isla what she needed. And that's what Alice did: she reached into her notebook, took out a piece of paper, grabbed a pencil, and handed it right to Isla.

Isla smiled happily — Alice loved that smile.
