Melaina and Josie had parted ways, Melaina went to school while Josie decided to go to the Pit Stop.

Melaina took a deep breath before entering the doors of Blue Valley high. As she walked towards her locker she passed Henry's locker that had flowers and cards around it.

She glanced at them before continuing her journey towards her locker. She hadn't seen Cameron yet that morning but he had seen her. He saw how she looked at Henry's locker so he decided to approach her.

"Hey Mel." He greeted the girl calmly as he approached her locker.

"Hey Cam." She said as she looked at him for a moment before continuing with getting her books.

"Mel?"

"Yeah."

"What's going on?"

"Its just alot has happened and I guess I'm overwhelmed. But I just need a break."

"From me?" Cameron responded in fear.

"No... Never from you. I just need to leave town for a few days... to clear my head." She assured to the boy before they parted their ways to their separate classes.

Lunch time had come sooner than expected and the team was at their usual table. Courtney came in looking heartbroken. She had just told the team that her dad wasn't Starman and that she didn't think that she deserved to be Stargirl anymore. Now they all just sat in silence eating until Courtney noticed something.

"Where's Melaina?" Courtney asked the group.

"Isn't she with Cameron?" Josie asked before they looked over to see Cameron sitting at his table with one of his other friends, without Melania.

"I think I know where she is." Josie said before her and Court stood up walked out of the cafeteria.

They walked into the library and wandered around looking for her until they saw her sitting on one of the bean bags by her favourite section of books. She appeared to be listening to music and doing some doodling.

She took off her headphones when she noticed the duo standing infront of her.

"Hey guys." She greeted as she held her pencil.

"Hey... you okay?" Courtney asked the girl as she crouched down.

"I'm fine what about you?"

"This is not about me... I'm worried about my friend." Courtney responded as she sat down infront of her.

"I'm fine Court... I promise." She assured to her before getting back to her doodling.

"We're worried because you've acting weird since last night." Josie explained as she sat down beside Courtney.

"Since Henry got killed by his own flesh and blood. You can say it... it won't change anything." Melaina corrected the girl.

Later that day there was a memorial assembly for Henry. Cameron had to go home early for a reason that Melaina didn't know about so that made her sit with the rest of the team. One of the teachers were speaking until they called up Henry's father.

The entire time Melaina along with the rest of the team were glaring at him. He started his speech before Courtney squeezed Josies hand, whom she was sitting next to in fear as she looked around in fear. Josie could tell something was wrong with the blonde but she didn't know what.

Luckily after the speech it was time to go home. Josie and Courtney ran back to Courtney's while Melaina went back to her own home.

They ran down to Courtney's basement before the blonde pleaded for the staff to work.

"Court?" Pat asked the girl.

"Brainwave remembers who I am. He said he'll go after you too." Courtney explained, in the last part she was referring to Josie.

"Okay we need to get out of here. Josie call your family and tell them to pack up their things and leave now." Pat instructed to the brunette before she quickly went upstairs to call Diana.

"Josie honey hey... is everything alright?" Diana asked as she answered the phone.

"No... it's not. Brainwave remembers who Courtney is and he knows who I am and we need to leave asap. Call Melaina, Eddie, Tia and Lyta right now tell them to pack we need to go." Josie rambled on the phone quickly.

"Okay...we'll see you soon be safe and call me if anything happens." Diana instructed before they said their goodbyes and hung up.

Josie quickly came downstairs to find a panicking Courtney.

"Pat, hey let me talk to her." Josie suggested before Pat left the two and went upstairs.

"Courtney you need to relax."

"How am I supposed to relax when the staff won't work?!" Courtney barked as she paced around the room. "It knows I'm not Starmans daughter. It doesn't want me anymore."

"That's not true."

"Yes it is!"

"Look I have no clue how that staff works. But as far as I've been told. That staff must've chosen you because it believes in you. It knows that no one else can do this job the way you do it. And I am so proud of how far you've come."

"You lost your brother because of me." Courtney sobbed.

"That cold bastard Icicle killed him not you."

"I believe in you, that staff believes in you."

"I just don't wanna loose you."

"You won't. You'll never loose me. You just need to believe in yourself okay." Josie said to the girl as she cupped her face and wiped away her tears.

She then pulled the girl into a hug and gently kissed her nose and forehead which made her giggle a little. "I'll be upstairs okay." Josie said before leaving the girl.

Courtney came up a few minutes later.

"Its not working. I need you with me. All of you." Courtney asked Josie along with Pat and Barbara who had been there when the brunette came back.

They all went downstairs and stood behind Courtney as she took a deep breath before put her hands on it. She slowly took it out and it started to glowing. Shining its blinding light that made the 3 other people in the room look away. Then after a few seconds Justin came down and joined them.

Who knew that the ISA didn't want to kill Josie?

idk if imma make this 1 book for season 1 and 2 or if I should do a separate book for season 2
