intak and chaewon felt an indescribable sense of relief once they walked out of the clinic. they finally had a solid answer - intak did NOT have cancer, he just had some one-sided love disease. was it some random girl at school that had a humongous crush on him? if it was, why did he get sick? why was he suffering if it's some other person he probably didn't know's crush?

these thoughts weren't important right now - all that mattered was that intak now had to find a way to get sooa to talk to him again.

would she even want to?

he, honestly, had no idea how she was really doing all this time. he'd tried his best to keep as close contact as possible with the girl for a while, but once he noticed her expert acting and her feigned happiness every day - he knew he was done for. she was pissed at him. beyond the possibilities the word angry could be used to describe how she really felt. he tried getting constant updates from the others, however after a while it'd become pointless. sooa had told them to tell intak she was completely fine - "why wouldn't i be?"

now that he knew for certain that he hopefully wasn't dying of a disease he had anytime soon, he had to figure out how to get her to talk to him. hopefully stop hating him, too.
