Madison looked at the girl in front of her. The princess of Wakanda, Shuri, was studying the contents of Vision. She was the one that was going to try and remove the stone without killing Vision.
"Whoa. The structure is polymorphic," she stated, giving a nod at their work.
Bruce gave a knowing nod, "Right, we had to attach each neuron non-sequentially."
"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?" Shuri asked, give a smirk.
"Because," Bruce started, not sounding sure of himself, "We didn't think of it."
Madison shook her head and looked at the princess, "I thought of it. We just didn't do it."
"I'm sure you did your best," the girl reassured, giving Madison a smile.
Wanda then took a step forward, a worried look on her face, "Can you do it?"
"Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures," Shuri answered as she looked towards T'Challa, "It will take time, brother."
"How long?" Steve asked, wanting this to be over as fast as it can be.
"As long as you can give me," the girl answered truthfully, making Madison worry that they wouldn't have enough time.
Then a beeping sound went off which made Madison's heart start to race. Okoye then looked at her kimoyo beads and takes one of them into her palm. A globe projects from her head as she looks at the group, "Something's entered the atmosphere."
"Hey, Cap, we got a situation here," Sam, who was outside, informed over the earpieces the had in.
A shock wave then came and Madison's eyes widened as she watched what looked like asteroids crash into the Earth's surface. Whatever, or whoever, had just landed scared Madison to death.
"It's too late," Vision spoke out as he started to get up, "We need to destroy the stone now."
"Vision, get your ass back on the table," Madison demanded, glancing back and making Vision sit down.
Everyone gave her a shocked look for a split second before T'Challa spoke, "We will hold them off."
"Wanda," Steve addressed, "As soon as the stone's out of his head... you blow it to hell."
The woman gave a nod, "I will."
T'Challa then began to walk towards the door, "Evacuate the city. Engaged all defense procedures. And get this man a shield."
Everyone then began to move, people all around Madison were preparing for battle. A battle that Madison didn't want to have, but one she knew that she was going to have to fight.
She then double tapped her bracelet, making her suit appear all over her body, except for her face. Steve gave a nod towards the girl, "I'm sorry that you're here."
"Don't say sorry. I may be sixteen but I am an Avenger. I can handle this," Madison smiled, her tone signifying that she was ready to fight.
"I know you can, but-" Steve tried.
Madison cut the man off, "No. No buts. We're going to fight and we're going to win. And then I'm going to get back my father and my best friend. Are you okay with that plan Steve?"
"You've grown up so much," Steve replied, a smile on his face.
"Well, that tends to happen when you live the life I'm currently living," she stated, returning the smile the man had given her.
Steve gave a nod, "Yes it does."
Madison then began to walk out of the room, making her mask appear in order to protect her identity. She then began following Natasha and the rest of the warriors around her. Soon minutes had passed Madison was standing on a hover carrier along with everyone else. She was standing along side Okoye, who gave the girl a reassuring nod.
"How we looking, Bruce?" Natasha asked.
Bruce was in the HulkBuster armor that Tony, Bruce, and Madison had designed. Madison had give Bruce Veronica because he was experiencing problems with the Hulk.
"Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of it," Bruce answered, "Wow! It's like being the Hulk without actually-"
He then tripped over a rock which caused a laugh to escape Madison as they rode past him. She caught a glimpse of Okoye giving a dubious look to the man who had just fallen flat on his face.
"I'm okay. I'm okay," Bruce then stated, rising to his feet and moving once more.
The carriers then tilted to the side and everyone slid off and began to run. The Wakandan soldiers then put up shields, forming a battle stance.
"I got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line," Rhodey informed.
Madison was standing in between Natasha and Steve, looking out at the clear dome which is where their enemy was. A chant was growing louder and louder and the Jabari came forth. A man stood next to T'Challa and shook his hand.
"Thank you for standing with us," T'Challa stated, giving a sincere look to the man next to him.
M'Baku gave a nod and spoke in Xhosa, "Of course, brother."
Madison looked at Natasha, the woman who had taught her that language along with many others. The woman, who was taller than Madison, looked down at the girl and place a hand on her shoulder, "I think we should go greet our guests."
"Let's do it," Madison smiled as she began to walk forward.
Natasha, T'Challa, and Steve then began to follow her, and in a few seconds the four of them were standing at the barrier. Face to face with the aliens that wanted to destroy half the population.
"Where's your other friend?" Natasha asked, sarcastically trying to sound sincere.
The woman alien then spoke, "You will pay for his life with yours. Thanos will have that stone."
"That's not gonna happen," Steve objected, giving a glare.
"That mad man won't win," Madison stated as she crossed her arms, "And your lives will most likely end along with his."
T'Challa then took a small step forward, "You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood."
"We... have blood to spare," The woman spoke.
She gave a growl and raised her sword, signaling for the ships behind her to open up. The followed her command and thousands of gruesome aliens started to march forward. Which cause Madison's blood to run cold, but she showed no emotion as she walked back up the hill with her three teammates.
