naomi never cared about being famous. it never really peaked her interest you could say. she was fine just having her best friend lily and playing hockey.

but her older sister on the other hand wanted to be known, wanted to be famous. so there she was. acting in percy jackson and the olympians as clarisse la rue.

so where we they headed right now?

dior was taking naomi to dinner with her to meet all of her friends since they were dying to meet her. naomi had surprisingly never met them, she didn't go hang out when dior did. she'd go to the hockey rink with her best friend and play hockey.

she was nervous to say the least about meeting her sisters friends. they were crazy famous in her eyes. would they like her? or would they think she's weird cause she's not famous like them. her mind was running 100 thoughts per second it felt like. she was snapped out of her thoughts by her sister shaking her lightly.

"mimi you good?" her sister asked as they pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant. naomi nodded putting a smile on her face. "yeah i'm good!"

dior checked her phone for the time. "let's go inside then. the traffic made us a little late." 

naomi grabbed her purse and phone and stepped out of the car and walked alongside dior heading into the restaurant. the older girl stopped her sister for a moment, standing in front of her and place one hand on her shoulder. "they're going to like you i promise." 

the younger girl nodded, she must have looked nervous she thought.

soon as they walked into the restaurant she saw a group of kids laughing and talking around a large table. she figured that was them. 

"hey guys!" dior said walking over to them naomi following behind.

the group all said there hellos and gave there hugs to dior and the two sisters went to sit down. naomi kind of stood there awkwardly not knowing where to sit.

"oh sorry mimi." dior apologized forgetting about her for a second. "everyone this is naomi my sister, naomi these are my friends. that's charlie, leah, aryan, walker, and oh that's walkers sister leena." she explained pointing to each person. "andrew couldn't make it he's been taking care of his mom back in oregon."

naomi thought her brain was going to explode at all the people in the room staring at her. "hi."

"here you can come sit over here next to me!" leah spoke waving for the girl to come over. naomi managed to make her way over they squeezing through the small space and sat down next to the girl. "so your naomi right? i'm so excited to finally meet you!" exclaimed leah smiling.

"yeah, it's nice to meet you too." said naomi.

"your also a freshman, right? me and walker are too." leah asked as she set her phone down bringing her full attention to the girl.

"yeah i am."

"cool! oh whats your insta i'll follow you!" leah said cheerfully opening up her phone.

"it's kinda basic, it's just totallynotnaomi one word no spaces." naomi explained. she really needed to change her user she thought.

"no i think it's cute! oh and whats your number? i can add you to the group chat if you want."

"it's xxx-xxx-xxx."

"thanks!"

after they talked for a few leah started talking to aryan so naomi kind of awkwardly sat there. normally she would text lily but the girl had dropped her phone in her pool a few days ago.

"you okay?" dior asked her sister.

"yep." 

"you know when we get back to the house i could always beat you at mario kart. or are you a chicken?" dior teased.

"huh who said mario kart?" the curly headed boy aka walker said his head had whipped up looking around at those words.

"dingus they weren't talking to you." his sister leena said hitting him on the head.

"oops." he said rubbing his head where leena had hit him.

"you play mario kart?" naomi asked the boy who quickly nodded.

"oh yeah, i'm practically a pro. everyone here eats my dust." walker said crossing his arms. naomi let out a small laugh at the boy. "i don't know i'm pretty good."

"maybe we could play sometime- only if you wanted to." said walker who stumbled over his words making naomi confused.

"sure walker."

"okay, cool cool super chill like way- ow! what the hell leena?!" walker rubbed his head again as leena had tossed as bread roll at his head. she whispered something in his ear making him turn red and made naomi even more confused.

"oh thank god pizza's here i'm starving." aryan said as the waiter placed pizza's on the table. naomi reached for the one with pineapple earning a look from walker.

"did you want that piece?" naomi asked pulling her hand away.

"no. why would i eat pineapple on my pizza? it's a disgrace to the pizza gods." walker said grabbing a piece of meat lovers.

"i happen to think it's pretty good too." charlie spoke up gaining a smile from naomi.

"you guys are animals." stated walker shaking his head.

everyone laughed. naomi was actually enjoying herself more than she thought she would.

after they all finished up, they headed out to the parking lot to say there goodbyes for the night.

"so when are you guys heading back home? charlie asked as not all of the group lived in california. leah and walker and his sister lived somewhere else.

"i think in two weeks. i've been doing my schoolwork online. so i'm in no rush." leah said.

"walker?"

"i leave in a week."

" well we should all hang out before you guys leave." aryan said. "naomi you should come too."

"oh sure." naomi said surprised at the offer.

 a car pulled up and it must have been leah's because she headed to the car. "well my moms here i'll see you guys later. oh! and i'm adding naomi in the group chat. see you guys!" leah waved before getting in the car with her mom and they drove off.

"well i guess we'll head out too. bye guys." said dior as she gave all her friends hugs.

"bye naomi." walker said quickly like he was trying to rush it out. that boy sure did confuse her.

"bye walker." she smiled waving to him. "bye everyone else."

they all said bye and the sisters headed to the car.

"did you have fun?" dior asked when they got in the car.

naomi nodded before turning on the radio. a few minutes later her phone buzzes.
