Two
Alcohol had almost completely taken over Alessia's body. The many shots that she had taken had clouded her mind and judgement as well as given her some new found confidence. Alessia was past the stage of tipsy but she wasn't quite drunk yet, a happy medium some would say.
Now, the only possible explanation Alessia could have for dancing and grinding with a total stranger was the alcohol. No way in hell would a completely sober Alessia Bianci be found dancing with someone she didn't know but borderline drunk Alessia Bianci was loving the experience. The stranger was incredibly attractive. His hair, blonde and shaggy, was fluffy but some of it was sticking to his forehead from the sweat. It was an already humid night and their dancing could be considered a cardio workout. His stubble had been shaped perfectly to define his razor sharp jawline and his icy, blue eyes were the most intense that Alessia had had the blessing of looking in to.
Anyone else who saw the pair could see how sparks were flying between the two. They didn't look like strangers. The man's hands rested comfortably on her hips. He wasn't afraid to move them higher or lower, caressing and memorising the curves of her body but respecting boundaries. Their bodies moved perfectly in sync with each other, fitting together as if they were the missing pieces to complete a puzzle. Alessia's arms were wrapped comfortably around his neck and her hands played with the hair on the back of his head. The stranger found this to be particularly pleasurable and breathily moaned into her ear so only she could hear.
At this, Alessia found herself trying to suppress the blush that was trying to creep onto her cheeks. She pulled him closer, if it was even possible, and wished for the moment to never end. How did a stranger have such an effect on her? It had to be the alcohol. There was no other plausible explanation.
"Alessia, the fireworks are about to go off!" Clara yelled from beside her, having a man of her own hanging onto every word that she spoke. Alessia couldn't help but giggle at her friend's eagerness. It seemed that no matter how old some people got, certain childhood pleasures would still have the same effect, even after so many years.
"Want to watch the fireworks?" The man whispered into Alessia's ear. His breath tickled the skin on her neck and goosebumps formed on ever last inch of her skin.
Alessia visibly gulped and nodded her head. She couldn't trust her voice not to wobble as she spoke, the man having such an effect on her.
He took her hand in his larger one and lead her to the very front of the yacht. He knew that at the front, they would have the best view of anyone else, however, the fireworks weren't what he wanted to see. The woman in front of him was.
Bang. Pop. Fizz.
The first set of fireworks shot up into the sky and erupted, leaving a trail of bright colours and light in the dark sky. Alessia's head turned to watch the display, a look of her awe in her eyes. However, if she had turned back to look at the man beside her, she would have noticed how his attention didn't stray from her for a single second. There would be more firework displays to watch, but he doubted he would ever have a moment with a woman as beautiful ever again.
Pop. Whoosh. Boom.
The second set flew into the sky but this time, Alessia felt the man's warm hand gently caress her face. As if by instinct, she turned her head back to face him, instantly being met by those icy yet intense blue eyes that she could swear she had seen in her dreams. His eyes flickered from her eyes to her lips, back to her eyes and eventually back to her lips. Alessia found herself to be leaning in, his lips gradually getting closer to her own.
Crackle. Hiss. Wizz.
By the time the third set of fireworks had taken off, Alessia was kissing a complete stranger. His hands rested on her cheeks, bringing her as close to him as possible, an act of desperation, never wanting the moment to end. Alessia raked her hands through his mop of hair, making it messier than it had been when she first laid eyes on him.
Their lips, much like their bodies did when they were dancing, moved in perfect sync. Neither of them missed a single beat and when the time came for them to catch a breath of air, that's all it was. A single breath of air before their lips attacked each other's once again.
There was no further desperation, however. No desperation to remove clothes to feel closer to the other. No desperation to move beyond their current base. No desperation to have anything more than a few kisses. What they had was enough. For now.
By the time the fireworks had finished, Alessia rested her forehead against the stranger's, gazing into his beautiful eyes that she promised to never forget.
"I'm Alessia." She spoke, her Italian accent becoming thicker from the effects of the alcohol.
"I'm Pierre." He returned, his French accent taking Alessia by surprise. She hadn't noticed his accent before but then again, she hadn't noticed an awful lot other than his physical appearance and his kissing abilities.
"Hate to break this up, guys, you're beautiful together, really but Alessia, you have training tomorrow evening." Clara pulled her best friend away from the man and without so much as a goodbye, it was the last that Alessia saw of Pierre.
Her one night of fun had come to an end but it was exactly what she had intended it to be: one night of fun. By the time the morning came around, she would have the most horrific hangover and she will have forgotten everything about Pierre. At least, that's what she assumed would happen.

Anyone get away during the summer holidays/going away during the summer holidays?
- not this summer but I'm away in October so I can't wait for that!
Enjoy and stay safe!
Lots of love, e x
