Diary — 1/27/22

I caught my boyfriend cheating on me today. I can't believe he would do this to me. I don't understand what I did so wrong!

I read as I remembered how it all went down.

FLASHBACK

I was sitting on my bed scrolling through Instagram when my boyfriend called me. I picked up the phone and began to speak.

Y/N — "Hey Babe, what do you want?"

Jungkook — "I was wondering if you'd wanna come over to hang?"

Y/N — "Sure, I'll be over in ten. Love you!"

Jungkook — "Love you too!"

I hung up and went to find some clothing. I put on one of his hoodies and some sweatpants with crocs and headed over. His house is pretty close to mine, just five minutes away. I walked over to his house and knocked on the door. The door soon opened revealing my boyfriend.

Jungkook — "Hey love, glad you could make it." He said as he pulled me in for a hug and a kiss. I smiled as I walked into his house also being greeted by his dog Bam.

Y/N — "Hi Bam! Who's a good boy?" I said as I rubbed Bam's head giggling. Jungkook closed the door behind us and went to grab some snacks from his pantry. I stopped petting Bam and walked over to Jungkook.

Y/N — "Love, why did you want me to come over?" I asked him confused. He stopped what he was doing and turned to face me.

Jungkook — "Because I missed you and wanted to see you." He said making me smile. "Here I brought these for you." As he hands me my favorite chips ever. I was excited as I love these chips.

Y/N — "Thank you!" I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and headed towards the couch.

I sat down and grabbed the remote to turn on the television. I went to click on Netflix when Jungkook sat besides me and put his arms around me.

Jungkook — "What are you gonna watch?" He asked me.

Y/N — "I don't know yet love, I'm trying to figure out now." I told him giggling at him.

Netflix opened and I noticed a new user named 'Lovebug'. 'Lovebug? Who is Lovebug?' I thought as I went to click on my profile. I decided to watch the newest Squid Game since I only seen snippets of it. I started the first episode and began to watch it.

Jungkook — "They changed the entire squid game? He asked me confused.

Y/N — "I guess so.." I replied confused aswell.

We watched the first episode, and then Jungkook had to be excused to the restroom. I decided to wait for him to get back when his phone went off. A new contact with the name 'Lovebug' popped up. I normally don't like going through his private information but, I needed to know who the hell is Lovebug. I opened the messages and soon was shock when I read them.

Lovebug — "Hey Kookie, how was yesterday?"

Jungkook — "It was so good thanks for coming over ;)"

Lovebug — "I enjoyed it! Am I better than Y/N?"

Jungkook — "Erm, I'd say you both are on the same level."

Lovebug — "When are you gonna break up with her? I've been waiting for months."

Jungkook — "Give me time, it'll happen soon I promise."

Lovebug — "Okay kookie ttyl! 🥰"

I stopped reading those messages and began to cry. 'How could he? Was I not a good girlfriend. Why me?' I thought as I sobbed. Jungkook soon came in and seemed confused.

Jungkook — "Babe why are you crying?" He asked me and I became furious.

Y/N — "Because, your cheating on me with this Lovebug person!" I screamed making him shocked.

Jungkook — "Lovebug? Who is lovebug?" He said playing dumb.

Y/N — "The girl you've been fucking on the side! Jungkook, don't act dumb!" I screamed at him as I pulled out the messages.

Jungkook stared at me with disbelief and sorrow as he began to plead for forgiveness.

Jungkook — "Y/N, I'm terribly sorry! I didn't mean to-"

Y/N — "To cheat on me? Jungkook you don't cheat as an accident! You can't just accidentally fuck someone!" I screamed in angry and sadness.

Jungkook — "I understand that but please hear me out!" He pleaded but I wasn't hearing none of it.

Y/N — "No Jungkook! We are done. I'm breaking up with you! Goodbye." I screamed at him as I got up to leave. He began to hold onto my wrist still pleading and I yanked my wrist free. I walked to the door and opened it.

Jungkook — "One more chance!"

Y/N — "No, go be with 'Lovebug' I'm sure she fucks better anyways!"

I said as I left out and slammed the door. I began to cry again leaving his house. I ran home and locked myself in my room. I began to scream and cry into my pillow.

Y/N — "Why Jungkook! WHYYYY!" I screamed. I've never felt so much pain in my life. My heart was broken into millions of pieces. I felt betrayed and manipulated. 'Why couldn't he just tell me?' I asked myself. 'If he told me it'll still hurt bad but it's better than being lied to'. I stopped crying and just sat on my bed. I turned to my bedside table and seen our photos together. I picked one up and stared at it, remembering the good times.

Y/N — "It's all gone now." I said as I ripped up the photo. "I'm just going to go to sleep, tomorrow is a new day." I said as I laid down and went to bed.

PRESENT TIME

That was over a year ago. Wow, time flies.

Y/N — "I handled it well to be honest." I said as I got up and received a call from and unknown number. I picked up as I liked trolling these numbers for fun.

Y/N — "Hello?" I said as I heard a familiar voice.

Jungkook — "Y/N, Hi! I've missed you-"

He couldn't finish his sentence as I blocked him mid call. 'Why would he even think about calling me again after what he pulled?' I thought as I got ready for the day.
