Flashback

P O V Y / N

Y/N — "Ningning, you okay?" I say showing concern as I grab her arm. "No bites".

Ningning — "Yeah I'm fine, are you okay?" She asks me staring worryingly.

Y/N — "I'm fine, I'm just worried about you." I reassure her. "We need to find a classroom to hide out in."

Ningning — "I know one!" She exclaims. "Room C204, downstairs. The door is always unlocked." She says as she grabs my hand and we begin to run.

There was a breakdown of a virus called cordyceps. It's predominately found in ants but recently it has traveled to humans, which means yes, there are living human zombies. We have multiple in our school and it's spreading fast. Ningning and I had one in our class which pretty much infected the entire class expect five of us.

Ningning — "On.. Your.. Right.." She says panting and pointing to C204. I go up to the door and hold the handle 'Please open!' I say in my head as the door opens.

Y/N — "Score!" I say as me and Ningning run into the classroom. I close the door and grab a desk to put infront of it.

FLASHBACK ENDS

We've been sitting in this classroom ever since then. I walk towards the window and look outside, all I see is chaos. "Wow our school is turning into shit." I exclaim.

Ningning — "Your saying that like it wasn't already." She chuckles as she walks towards me. "Holy shit you aren't lying, look!" She points towards a teacher trying to get away. "Isn't that Mrs.Ben?"

Y/N — "I absolutely HATE Mrs.Ben" I tell her. "She graded down all my test, quizzes, and classwork for no reason." I roll my eyes and scoff while telling her. "She deserves what's coming." Ningning pushes me.

Ningning — "Stop being mean before karma gets to us." She says as she goes to the teachers desk. "Maybe there's something we can use to defend ourselves."

I hear someone knock into the door. I look to see a bloody student. "Holy shit!" I say loudly startling Ningning and the zombie. Ningning screams and the zombie begins to growl and bang on the door.

Ningning — "Oh my god! Oh my god! Please do something!" She screams at me.

Y/N — "I-I don't know what to do!" I scream back while stuttering. I grab a desk and prop one up against the window. Another zombie joins in and now is banging on the door aswell. "We might have to jump."

Ningning — "Jump-p? I'm not jumping." She stutters. I look out the window and notice we are on the first floor. I stare at her in confusion.

Y/N — "Ningning.. we are on the first floor.." I say while staring at her blankly. She looks outside again and just mouths "Oh." I look back at the door and notices it's opening little by little. "Ning we have no time for this, either you jump or die." I say as I open the window.

Ningning rushes over to me and jumps out first. The door burst open and I hurriedly jumped. We began to run as more zombies burst out of the school doors. I seen my car and went to open the door, luckily I left my car unlocked.

Y/N — "Ningning over here!" I screamed as I hopped in the driver seat. She was running until she slipped on a piece of paper and landed on her knee. A zombie was behind her and grabbed on her.

Ningning — "Y/N!! PLEASE HELP MEEE!" She screams as her and the zombie begin to fight.
'Ah shit what do I do?' I ask myself as I hop out the car. I see a piece of metal on the ground, I grab it, and wack the zombie in the face with it.

Ningning — "Thank you Y/N!" She said as I helped her up and we headed inside the car. Before I hop in though, I drop the metal weapon on the ground, not knowing this will be my worse choice ever. I search for my keys but I remembered that it is in my locker.

Y/N — "Fuck!" I exclaimed and Ningning looks at me with worry. "I don't have the keys."

Ningning — "Your lying." She replies with no facial expression. I shake my head 'no' and she begins to look around the car. "You have to have a spare one somewhere." She says as she digs into my glove compartment. I look behind the passenger seat and see a key. "Did you find it?" She asks.

Y/N — "Yes I did." I say as I smile and grab the key. I also see a blood stain on the seat but choose to ignore it. I start the car up and I gain lots of attention from the zombies near by. 'Please drive.' I say in my head as I press on the gas pedal. The car moves and I forward out of the school driveway onto the main road.

Ningning — "Ah yes!" She sighs loudly and smiles. I smile aswell but I hear some noise from the back seat. I once again ignore it and pass it off as 'car wind'. It happens again and this time Ningning hears it.

Ningning — "Y/N did you hear that?" She asks me with concern. She looks behind her chair but sees nothing.

Y/N — "Yeah but it's probably car wind." I tell her casually. She stares at me with confusion.

Ningning — "The windows aren't down Y/N." She tells me as the noise happens again. I pull my rear view mirror down and see a bloody hand. I scream which startles the creature and Ningning. The creature reveals itself and we both gasp in horror. Our eyes are wide open as we both yell.

Ningning + Y/N — "Mrs. Ben?!?!" We both screamed. Mrs. Ben was a complete zombie now. She begins to growl and scratch the car seats.

Ningning — "Y/N PULL OVER!" She screams as the car begins to sway. I completely loose control of the car.

Y/N — "IM TRYING TO-". I couldn't finish my sentence before we crashed into a tree. All I hear is screaming and my vision begins to fade. "I'm sorry Ningning" is all I can mouth before I pass out, leaving her to fend for herself.
