born to a professional volleyball player, himari has volleyball written in her dna. seeing her father on the court with his team so many times and even go to the olympics amazed her. she knew that's what she wanted to do.

getting into volleyball so young set her up for greatness early, training often and joining various kids teams. by the time she got to middle school, she was already seen as excellent, becoming captain in her second junior high year.

when she got to high school, she was already predicted as one of japan's best, often getting praise for her abilities. despite all this, she constantly felt as if she wasn't doing enough. she took note of every mess up, and often only stops if someone intervenes.

even after going to the national girl's youth training camp with her father, she still proceeds to be tough on herself putting on a cocky facade to hide how she truly felt. despite seeming social, she doesn't have as many friends as she lets people believe and is often playing volleyball, alone or with her father.
