' caught in the act '

- namjoon's pov -

ugh. it was such a chaotic day yesterday and earlier.

nothing new happened, just the usual.

as the principal's son, i was chosen to roam around the whole school to see if some students haven't went home yet. including the places that students aren't allowed to trespass to.

the school closes at seven at night so my mom would announce through the mic in the principal's office, 'kim namjoon, my son, please roam around the whole school as it's about to close anytime soon and you can bring your friends with you if they're still here. thank you.'

embarrassing yet iconic, every students would say.

she's a cheery principal and everyone aren't scared if ever she announce that they need them in the office as soon as possible.

my mom is an understanding and calm principal. she rarely speaks sternly at the students because she know that the students in the school loves her and would follow her no matter what.

it's a great school.

also, i'm grateful that my mom chose me to roam around the school after knowing that yoongi hyung and jungkook stay late in the campus.

they got locked in the bathroom once when they fell asleep in one of the stalls. and that's when my mom assigned me to roam around the school since i told her what happened to yoongi hyung and jungkook.

of course, they got embarrassed so much.

after walking peacefully around the school for ninety-nine percent, i finally have to check one last place.

the restroom at the other end of the hallway.

once i reached the hallway, i entered the boys' restroom since my sister, kim yoonji will check all of the girls' restroom later.

i nodded slightly after knocking in every door of each stall and slowly opening them once i didn't get a response after knocking for 5 times.

nobody's in the restroom.

i walked out of the boys' restroom and was about to go home but i suddenly got pushed against the wall. i shut my eyes closed as i clench my jaw, letting out a pained groan.

confused, i flutter my eyes open only to see the people who i've been trying to avoid everyday.

"what do you want now?" i spat, venom laced with my voice. taehyung smirked and glanced at jin. "jin hyung here, has something to tell you." taehyung said as jin steps closer to me, somehow making me want to spit at him.

"can you do my homework, namjoon?" he asked while he leans closer.

you come to school for a reason, not to ask some random student to ask them to do your fucking homework.

"hm? i do not accept that as an answer." jin snickered. then why wouldn't he accept it if he didn't mention any choices that i can pick as an answer? it doesn't make any sense.

"dumbass. can't even answer his own homework which only contains ten questions." i smirked, seeing his dead-panned look satisfies me.

jin hummed and stood up straight.

"alright." it happened in a speed of light. i just saw him rolling up his sleeves then sent three exact punches at me.

two at my stomach and one at my jaw. what's wrong with him?!

i placed my arm on my stomach as i bent down due to the pain. i looked up at him with hooded eyes while i gritted my teeth. "whatever. you're useless. bye, nerd." and with that, they left me alone at the hallway laughing.

"assholes." i grumbled as i clumsily stood up with my arm still on my stomach. it feels like i want to throw everything up that i just ate.

i weakly made my way out of the campus. shit, how can i show up tomorrow in front of yoongi hyung and jungkook, looking like a 'not-beaten-up' person?

i'll think about that once i arrive home.

i suddenly smirked once i realized something.

they didn't knew that there's a cctv camera at the end of the hallway which surely caught their act.

it's a short chapter and it's not interesting but it'll be so interesting in the next chapter ;)
