There weren't many people that Shoto trusted, but you were one of the few. You grew up next door to each other, best friends from the start. You were together from the beginning, going through everything together. He was there to help you with bullies when you were little, and you were there to comfort him when his dad would be too harsh. You didn't get to see each other very often when you were tiny, because of Endeavor, but as you aged you both had more freedom. Throughout knowing each other, there were periods where you each felt something else, like when you were thirteen and some random jock had picked on you for something stupid causing you to cry. Shoto was very protective, comforting you through it and then (even though he denied it) beating the kid up. Or at fifteen when you were staring to mature and had finally figured out your style, gaining a confidence that Todoroki found attractive. Nothing had ever come out of these instances, figuring you had always been friends and meddling with it might screw something up, but when you got into UA together, everything changed. It all started with you getting into class 1-A. You met a boy named Kirishima and instantly hit it off. While you both had had crushes before, and went about it like nothing, this irked Shoto a lot. It wasn't that he didn't like the guy, in fact, he was happy it just wasn't Bakugo, but it still angered him how fast you became friends. You were aware of how fast the dynamic between you two shifted, all of a sudden Todoroki becoming very protective over you, but all you could do was laugh about it. He was so jealous it was amusing. He wasn't even a loud jealous type, but Kirishima was fast to back off when he would notice the boy glaring him down from the corner of the room. He found it funny too, and when he realized that you knew Shoto was jealous, you devised a plan.
