aaa this took so long, i'm so sorry, i had a really stressful week :(

kageyama jogged up to the girl that was waiting for him by the vending machine before breaking into a small smile. "thanks for waiting for me."

"no worries," erena returned the smile. "you seem tired. do you wanna just wait here for a while before leaving?"

"yeah," kageyama nodded before leaning down against the vending machine. erena followed suit, quietly humming as she laid her head against his shoulder. 

the two rested in comfortable silence, and erena's eyes wandered up to the heavens. kageyama had finished training reasonably earlier than usual today as it was the end of the school semester, so the sky was lit up in a breath taking sunset rather than a dark midnight.

hues of pink, blue and yellow tinged the cotton candy clouds, a fresh breeze pushing the clouds gently along. erena then looked up at her boyfriend, whose hair was also being rustled by the wind. his usually grumpy eyes softened as he slurped his milk carton. 

erena unconciously smiled before saying, "you know, i really like you, kageyama."

he stopped slurping before glancing down at his girlfriend, warmth in his eyes now. "i like you more, dumbass."

"no, i like you more," erena pouted and when kageyama shook his head she raised an eyebrow. "prove it."

"fine," kageyama took a deep breath before chucking his milk carton into a nearby bin. "i like you more than i like plain milk."

then he leaned in and gave erena a kiss before breaking apart, leaving the two of them bright red. erena laughed before saying, "well, i like you more than i like flavoured milk!"

and the two continued their banter, their levels of 'like' increasing until it turned into love.
