Picture to Burn is an angsty break up song about Jordan Alford, who, after breaking up with Taylor, dated and later married one of Taylor's former friends, Chelsea. 

The lyrics "I realize you love yourself more than you could ever love me" in the first verse suggests that the subject of the song, Jordan Alford, could be vain, or have not cared much about Taylor. 

In the chorus, there is the line "So watch me strike a match on all my wasted time". It could be about how Taylor, angry and hurt after her and Jordan's break up, decided to turn her back on their relationship and dismiss it, but, at the same time, get revenge and watch all traces of it 'burn to the ground', hence the next line, "As far as I'm concerned, you're just another picture to burn". 

The bridge consists of two lines, "And if you're missing me, you'd better keep it to yourself//Cause coming back around here would be bad for your health". This links back to the last line in the second verse, "And if you come around saying sorry to me, my daddy's gonna show you how sorry you'll be". As mentioned previously, this is an angsty and angry break up song, so it could be like a threat, woven into the song. Threatening Jordan to never come back as her father would help her get revenge - most likely in a physical way - which would be 'bad for Jordan's health' as Jordan would probably be hurt - not good for your health!
