"๐๐ข ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ really have to go tomorrow?" Riley whines from her spot on Scott's bed as he finishes packing the rest of his stuff.
Scott chuckled as he zips the suitcase up, "I've put it off for two weeks, baby. Plus, I have to go meet my roommate and get all of my stuff together before the start of classes in a couple of days.
"But you're gonna be so far away!" She groaned, rolling onto her back and closing her eyes, "And I'll miss you."
Scott grins as he moves to stand between her legs, grabbing her by the hands and pulling her to sit up straight on his bed.
Moving his hand to cup the side of her face, Scott brings his lips down on hers, "You'll live. We'll talk, and text every chance that we get. And I'm coming home on the weekends when I can."
"That's still not the same." Riley sighed as she looked away from him before looking back to find him with an amused smile on his face, "Scott! This isn't something to be smiling about!"
"I'm sorry. You're the one who fought me on staying here or going away for college." He laughs, pulling her up so they were almost the same height, arms wrapped around her waist as her's went around his neck, "Okay. How about you go home and let me finish getting everything I need ready to go, and I'll pick you up for one last date night. Sounds good?"
"Hmm, sounds amazing." She grinned as he leaned down to press a slow yet sweet kiss onto her lips, "I love you."
"And I love you."

"๐ฌ๐ข๐จ ๐๐ข๐ข๐ way too good to be hanging out with Tyler today." Justin stands against the frame of her bedroom.
Riley quickly turns away from her mirror with wide eyes, lipstick in hand, "Today is my day with Tyler?!"
"Yes. It's on Clay's stupid calendar." Justin nods his head.
"Shit! I totally forgot!" Riley races to grab her phone, "I've been so focused on Scott getting ready to leave for college that I didn't even think to look and see what I had planned for the day!"
"I can trade days--,"
Riley cuts him off, "No, no. I'll hang out with Tyler today."
"I really don't like the look on your face, or the mischievous look in your eyes." Justin points at her with squinted eyes.
"What look?"
"The look that says you're planning something."
"Maybe I am." She smirks as she presses on Scott's contact and holds the phone against her ear, "But make sure you and Clay don't don't anywhere."

"๐ช๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐ก๐๐ to date night?" Scott questions as he walks into the Jensen household, smiling in greeting at her aunt and uncle, who were getting ready to leave for the night -- as requested by Riley.
"Well, like I told Justin, I got so focused on you leaving for college that I completely let it slip my mind that today's my day to be with Tyler." Riley tells him as the two of them stop at the back door, "So, I thought we could spend time with everyone before you left. You know, a little going away party."
Scott raised an eyebrow, a bright smile on his face, "Who is everyone else?"
"Yo! Scott!" Zach exclaimed as he walked towards the couple, "Are you guys leaving us, dude? Don't wanna stay here and wait until Lee graduates?"
"I already tried. She won't let me." Scott shrugged as his girlfriend swats at his chest, an offended look on her face.
"Everyone is in the backyard." Riley tells the Dempsey boy with a smile, "We'll be there in just a second."
Zach nods his head before going out the back door, closing it back behind him.
"So, who is everyone?"
"Well, the two of us, and Tyler." She smiles at him, "Along with all of the others that have gradually accepted our long hidden relationship.
"It wasn't that hidden." He laughs. "Everybody is outside?"
Riley doesn't answer him as she pushes the backdoor open, the two of them stepping out onto the grass as she closes the door.
Scott can't help the chuckle that leaves his lips at the scene in front of him.
Hanging from the clothes line was a long and thick white sheet with a projector stacked up on a table they had pulled from the shed, and The Maze Runner pulled up on the screen ready to be started.
And around the yard, laid out on blankets were everyone; Tyler, Zach, Clay, Justin, Alex, Tony, Ryan, Sheri, and Jessica.
"I don't want the fucking black licorice." Justin argues with Clay as the two newly adopted brothers playfully glare at each other.
"Well, I don't fucking want it either!" Clay exclaimed, "I want the skittles!"
"The skittles are mine!"
"Who said?!"
"I said!"
"Riley!" The two boys yell, turning to the blonde and her boyfriend.
"The licorice isn't for either of you, jackasses." Riley walks towards them, snatching the pack from Justin's hand, "They're for Tyler."
"Both boys turn to Tyler with their faces scrunched the same, "You like black licorice?"
"Shut up, and find a fucking seat on the grass." She tells them, pointing to the grass as if she were scolding her two children. "And the skittles are mine!"
"This is what we're doing instead of date night?"
Tyler stands up from the grass to look between the two, hands hidden away in the long sleeves of his hoodie, "You skipped out on date night to watch over me? I -- I didn't mean to -- to be a bother."
"Dude." Scott chuckled, "You're not a bother, Tyler. Plus, I think this is just what we all need after all of the shit you guys have been through in the last year."
"We can let the two of you go do something else together." Jessica stands up to move closer to the three as Alex does the same.
"Yeah." Alex agrees with the Davis girl, the others muttering in agreement.
"All of you, shut up." Scott tells them with a laugh, "Though, I would love nothing more than to have one last night with my girl alone, I'm glad that I get to spend it with all of you for my last weekend home. Old friends, new friends, friends that nobody would think would become friends."
"Awe! He loves us!" Zach grins as he and Justin tackle the boy to the ground at the same time, a groan leaving all three of their lips at the harsh impact.
"Okay, okay. Let's just watch all of the movies." Riley says, "It's probably going to be the most normal thing we do for the rest of our high school lives."
"Hmm, I doubt that."

๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ก๐๐ฆ at the kitchen window, looking out at her backyard filled with laughing and arguing teenagers with a warm smile on her face.
All of them had been there since noon and now they were all having a good time under the pitch black night sky with stars littering the sky.
"What are you doing?" Matt walks up behind his wife, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin on her shoulder, gazing out at his son, niece and Justin.
"Watching them all have no care in the world." Was her reply, "They way they should always be."
"Well, you know how our children are." Matt tells her with a chuckle, "There's no telling what kind of trouble the three of them are going to get into with each other."
Though, why the teens weren't worried about a thing at that moment, they had no idea the tough and horrible road that lies ahead of them, one that was just months away.
Especially, Riley.
