PERSONALITY. jordan used to have a hard time opening up to the people she was closest with. she would always find herself listening to others when they had problems or needed an ear, this resulting in her always keeping her own emotions to herself. after her mother and sister passed away, it got harder for her to share - she works on it everyday as she wants to be as open as she can be for the team.

those who know jordan trust her with their lives. she is good at what she does, and the team speaks nothing but good things about her loyalty and where it lies - she is a soul that will die to save yours, and would rather take your secrets to the grave then to let them be shared with the world.

working with the bau made the empath in jordan grow larger - and stronger. she is one that will feel what you're feeling, no matter the severity of your emotions. she finds it hard to stop herself from doing so - it sometimes gets in the way of her working, especially when cases with children are given to the team. 

BACKSTORY. jordan was only 16 years old when she lost her mother and younger sister to a serial killer who most likely still roamed the streets to the present day. her and her father had been out one night getting chinese take-out for dinner - when they had returned home nearly 20 minutes later, her sister had been found shot dead in her bed, and her mother on the kitchen floor with multiple stab wounds to the stomach. their murder case remained unsolved.

jordan grew up isolated from most things, having experienced little to nothing due to her childhood trauma. to this day, she still does not experience much - she would rather sit at home with a book or visit her father, instead of going out to see a movie or going for a stroll in the park.
