PERSONALITY. to most, carla lansing is a nobody. she is a mystery ─ no one really knows who she is as she keeps to herself. she sits alone during lunch time and typically sits at the back of the class to keep the attention away from her. although many don't know her, she still tries to be a friend to all. it might take her more energy to be present, but carla will never be cruel to another soul. growing up alone with her father, she has learned to keep her opinions to herself unless asked, and would rather hear what other's have to say before sharing her own thoughts.

those who know carla would describe her as empathetic and genuine. her heart rests on her sleeve, and her emotions copy those who stand before her. she sometime has a hard time keeping those emotions in check, especially if carla is really close to whoever's emotions her body is trying to copy.

being an only child made carla a bit of an introvert. not much of the party type, she would rather sit in bed and listen to music than going out to the biggest party of the summer. she used to be a homebody, mostly not by choice, until she met eddie. he is her escape from home, and she will do whatever she can to protect him from her father.

BACKSTORY. carla's mother died of cancer when she was really young. this resulted in her having to go live with her father back in hawkins, indiana. he had never been there during her childhood, and still to this day he never paid attention ─ unless she broke the rules. her father was strict, and even stricter when he was drunk ─ and that was often. carla couldn't go anywhere after school unless she had done all of her chores, and couldn't have friends over. she rebelled once in a while, but usually consequences would follow the next day ─ ones that were physical.

carla had decided to join the hellfire club, this giving her time away from home after school. to her father's knowledge, this club was but a mathematics class that would meet up everyday at 4pm to practice for monthly competitions away from home. most of her friends didn't know about her father, and she planned on keeping it a secret. she was scared of what would happen if her father found out she was talking about him.
