    ↠ 𝐁𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐲, 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧

"Adena and I are going in the prefect's carriage, see you later hopefully."

Noah waved them goodbye, Adena doing the same and following after Noah. However, after taking a step, she was stopped by a velvet-like voice calling out her name. She turned around, her sad hazel orbs meeting Regulus' grey eyes.

He had instantly noticed the sad look in her pupils even though her features weren't giving anything away. He stared at her quietly as Adena closed the distance between them. Being at the perfect height, the girl slowly placed her forehead on his shoulder. She didn't know why, she was only seeking some comfort, his comfort. The hand he placed behind her head was enough for her she realized. Only a tear left her eye and fell onto his robe before she took control of herself again. She wasn't usually that sad, but she had probably got too close to her housemates and even to Regulus, not too feel saddened by the departure. And that closeness made her fear the loneliness of holidays even more.

"Let's get inside," murmured the Slytherin male as his left hand returned to his side. His right hand went to grab Adena's one as he led her towards their compartment. Some people were already there but Adena wouldn't lift her gaze from the floor.

"Good morning Black, Winsten," said both the Head boy and Head girl, welcoming them inside.

Regulus sat at a table at the end of the compartment, not hesitating to lead Adena to the seat by his side. The Ravenclaw placed her head back on his shoulder as he didn't seem to mind.

"Here you are!" exclaimed Noah with a smile he came back from talking with a Hufflepuff prefect. "Are you okay?"

"Tired," murmured Adena looking out the window. Regulus unconsciously tightened his hold on her hand that he hadn't let go of.

Noah only hummed even though he looked worried.

"Hi guys!" Ivanna had arrived at their table. She smiled when seeing Regulus and Adena side by side but frowned when noticing something was off about her. She opened her mouth to speak but the Slytherin's cold and serious stare was enough to dissuade her and so she just sat next to Noah without saying anything.

Soon after the Head girl and Head boy gave out the instructions. Adena and Noah had to leave soon. But Adena didn't want to leave Regulus so soon. The brunette nuzzled her face more into his shoulder, hiding it against his body. His thumb had started rubbing the back of her smooth hand in circular motions. He was not even thinking about his gestures, he just did it. It felt right and natural.

"Lee and Winsten, it's your turn!" called out the Head girl. And Adena's body tensed up.

"Adena, we have to go," whispered Noah as he got up. The brunette slowly lifted her head from Regulus' shoulder. He was looking straight into her eyes.

"See you soon, okay?" he murmured, and she nodded before getting up, letting go of his hand with difficulty. Before leaving, the Ravenclaw looked back once at the raven-haired boy who returned her gaze.

"Wow is there something between you and Winsten?" asked curiously Ivanna with a smirk.

"No," was Regulus curt reply but Ivanna didn't believe that. Nor did he.

As Noah and Adena were walking in the train, the boy suddenly interrupted the silence, hoping to make the girl forget her sad thoughts.

"Adena... I've been thinking about something lately, is that okay if I tell you about it?" asked the boy quietly.

The brunette got sorted out of her thoughts, surprised by his sudden intervention, feeling curious. "Yeah, you can tell me anything."

"I wondered a lot if I should tell you, or tell anyone but I can't hide it anymore..." Taking a deep breath, he suddenly blurt out, "I... I like Jacob!"

Adena widened her eyes in surprise, not expecting to hear this. She stared at him, watching as his face turned crimson under her stare.

"What! Wow! Jacob really? That's... surprising... why Jacob..."

"I don't know! I can't control my feelings!" whispered-shouted Noah, while hiding his face in embarrassment.

"It's okay, I won't judge you for liking such git."

"Thanks, I know you'd understand..." he told her with a small smile.

She didn't understand the meaning of his words, but smiled reassuringly at him nonetheless. And then they both starting talking joyfully about Jacob and Noah's feelings. The boy was beaming. He had been hiding this for so long, it felt liberating, and Adena was touched to be the first to know.

Pimchin's welcome was really heart-warming for both Candace and Adena. As the family elf, she was like a third parent for the girls. In a way, Adena felt good about being at home again. It smelled like fresh baked biscuits Pimchin had made before leaving and the air wasn't too hot. It had a comforting atmosphere too.

Right after arriving, Adena went up to her room, which was perfectly clean thanks to her house elf. All those emotions had exhausted her, and she had gone straight to bed, sleeping until her parents' arrival.

Just as expected, the first days of the break were already boring the young girl. She would never leave her bed, except when she was hungry and when her parents arrived in the late evening or at night if their day had been really busy. She felt so lonely. Maylyn visited Candace by the second week. It didn't feel as lonely. But both girls leaved for Maylyn's house after a few days. Adena was really all alone after that. She felt happy when she received Noah's thanks letter for the birthday present she had sent him but otherwise, nothing was entertaining.

The young girl didn't even have any motivation to go out enjoy some fresh air in the countryside nature or to read the books she had. She just felt numb. She didn't even get any news from her Ravenclaw comrades which was only destroying even more her already depressed mood.

By the end of July, Jacob visited her house unexpectedly one afternoon. Adena was lying in her bed, facing the wall opposite to the door, wondering if she should just shut her eyes to get some sleep as if she hadn't slept for the past hours already. She girl didn't even flinch when the door burst open.

"Nobody told you how to knock," hissed the girl in cold voice, not bothering to check who it was.

"That's how you greet an old friend, wanker?" replied Jacob. That voice, Adena hadn't expected to hear it. She widened her eyes before straightening up on her bed staring at the blonde boy in front of her.

"It's you! What are you doing here Jacob?"

"For Merlin's sake! You scared me, I thought you were a ghost! Look at how pale you are!" screamed Jacob while pointing at her bored face.

"Answer me you jerk."

"Came to visit you. Prepare yourself."

"I... okay," said the girl as she got to up to grab some clothes.

"Don't tell me you stay in bed all day. Do you even wash up?"

"Rarely these days I admit," replied jokingly the girl with a smirk. And Jacob let out a 'eww', making her laugh. She was already feeling better.

When she got outside her bedroom, Jacob tightly grabbed her waist, stopping her from walking.

"Aww Adena I missed youuuu. Did you miss me?" asked the boy in a whining voice, giving a pout to the brunette.

"I didn't even think about you for one second," replied the girl.

"Aw always so mean Adena, why do you like hurting me so much," whined the boy again as he let her go. And she chuckled before heading to the bathroom.

She took a quick shower as she knew Jacob was waiting in the house. The brunette had chosen to wear a light, yellow dress, very basic. After that was ready so she left the room. It was no surprise she didn't find Jacob outside; he was probably wandering in the place or maybe he had found Pimchin. She got down the stairs and noticed Jacob out the window. She went outside, joining him in the large garden.

"I'm ready. What are we doing?"

"Going to Jade's. The others are there as well."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"It's Jade! She started visiting everyone this morning, asking if we could go out! And now I'm here. Eugenia is at Isaac's, he got back from his trip to Africa yesterday."

"I see, that must have been cool."

"Yeah, he visited his mother's family in Morocco."

They arrived in front of the fireplace in the middle of the living-room at that moment.

"There's some soot sorry," murmured Jacob embarrassed.

"It's okay. Pimchin!" Just as she said that, the house elf appeared with a 'crack!'

"Yes Miss? Oh, hello Mr Jacob."

"Hey Pimchin, I'm sorry for the mess."

"Pimchin, get rid of the soot after we left please."

"Yes Miss. Pimchin will do it!"

"Okay. Jacob go ahead."

Jacob went into the fireplace after having thrown the floo powder in it. "Jade Fawley's house!" shouted the boy before disappearing. Adena did the same, arriving into Jade's fireplace after a few seconds. The brunette was engulfed in big hugs upon arriving.

She felt so happy but having so much physical interactions for the first time in a while made her slightly uncomfortable. But she tried to hug them back anyway.

"Hey guys," she smiled at them.

"Adena, how have you been?" asked Eugenia.

"Found her dead in her bed when I arrived," muttered Jacob casually before the brunette could say anything.

"I'm doing fine thank you."

"You look pale. Are you sick?" asked Millie worriedly and Jacob laughed.

"No, I just don't go outside."

"You're in need of some D vitamin. Let's go out," said Jade, leading the way outside her apartment. She was living with her parents in a city next to London.

"We'll take the Knight bus guys," continued Noah, stepping outside the flat behind Jade.

"What are we doing exactly?" asked Adena.

"Noah and Millie actually planned the afternoon," said Jade.

"Yeah we got some ideas after Jade visited us."

After finishing her sentence, the Knight bus stopped right in front of the group. They entered and took tickets for London and the bus rode again. Not barely some minutes later they were in London.

"Where shall we drop you kids?" asked the conductor of the bus.

"Camden Town please," answered Noah.

"We'll be doing some shopping in Muggle shops today! You'll see this place has many shops!"

They arrived after another few minutes.

"It seems popular," commented Jacob.

"Yeah these days it's been very popular."

They started walking around, discovering every shop. The young teenagers looked at the place with shinning eyes, especially Jade, Isaac, Eugenia, Jacob and Adena who had never heard of this.

"Let's go here!" said Millie as she entered a vinyl shop.

"Millie, isn't it Queen playing? Guys listen, that's some good Muggle music."

"It's called 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. My mum loves this. This band is really popular these days!" she said excitedly as the others just stared wide eyed at her. She looked so happy about making them discover Muggle's culture.

"I might as well jam to this band next time I get drunk," suddenly said Jacob. "Sounds pretty good."

"My personal favourite is 'Good old-fashioned lover boy', if you're interested," excitedly told him Millie.

"I personally love Elton John's music thanks to my mum," added Noah with enthusiasm. 

Afterwards, both Millie and Noah started showing them the trending music at that moment. Which ended up being a great discovery.
