"Asteria" Chiron called out "Yes?" She questioned stopping in her tracks "I need you to go on a quest" Asteria mentally cursed herself at the mention of the word quest

"Who's apart of it" Asteria questioned "That's for Percy to decided" Chiron responded as Asteria rolled her eyes "I know this isn't ideal for you but you can help them, after all Hermes is your dad"

"What's in it for me?" She asked again wanting her say in this "Anything you want, just help them on this quest" Chiron pleaded with her as she nodded "Now follow me." He instructed as a group of kids stood in a circle

"The oracle has confirmed what we expected, that this quest will proceed toward the underworld, where you will confront the god who has rebelled against his brothers, Hades" Chiron told the group

"You will choose two to join you on this quest and ensure that we succeed" Chiron instructed Percy "Annabeth" Percy automatically said "Are you sure you don't wanna hear anymore names"

"The first quest mate shall be Annabeth Chase" Chiron announced "Now on to the other candidates"

Asteria didn't know why it shocked her that Percy would choose Annabeth, she felt stupid for thinking that maybe he trusted her enough to take her on the quest.

"Come with me to drop these off?" Luke offered taking in his sister's low vibe "Whatever" Asteria said walking along side her brother

"Seriously?" She questioned realizing they were at Poseidons cabin - Luke ignored her walking in "How much money did they give you?"

"200 in cash and a bag of these" Perch showed the bag "I would've gotten that too if i could've gone" Asteria hummed, Percy took note that it bothered Asteria that he didn't choose her

"Those are golden drachmas" Luke picked up the bag in Percys hand "I brought you this" Luke show cased the box

"These are interesting" Percy examined the shoes inside the box, before Luke showed him how to access them "A gift from my dad" Luke clicked his tongue

"I thought about choosing you before i chose Grover" Percy explained to Luke "I wanna take Asteria with me, Chiron im guessing will be okay with it"

"Its okay, really i get it" Luke admitted before Percy could go off on his rant

Luke approached Percy before leaving"if your gonna take Asteria with you promise me your gonna protect her" Asteria expected Luke to react like this "I promise"

"If anything happens you know what to do or even if they try something" Luke whispered to his younger sister before giving her a quick hug "Be careful i mean it"

Asteria picked up her converse that had a special ability thanks to her dad "I thought you could only pick two?" Grover questioned approaching the group

"Chiron let Asteria come around, we worked somethings out" Percy explained as Grover hummed

"She's really gonna miss that tree?" Percy said looking at Annabeth "That tree is Thalia." Asteria stated recalling what had happened "Thalia had turned back to fight to buy her friends some time, they tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen, So Zeus intervened and changed her form" Grover explained

"His best idea to save his daughters life was turn her into a tree?" Asteria sighed at Percys response and he noticed "Sorry" He mumbled

"Do what i say and maybe you can survive this" Annabeth stated "Does she think she's in charge" Percy stated the obvious "Yes" They all followed Annabeth who led them to the city and onto a taxi

"You guys don't think people are gonna find this weird? You know four teenagers wondering the streets alone" Asteria only received shrugs as the group entered bus

"You wont mind if i sit next to you?" Percy asked Asteria who only gave him a smile "Im sorry about the whole Thalia thing i didn't know"

"and also for not picking you first i could tell that it bothered you in some way"

"It's fine" She squeezed his hand reassuring him "Honestly why did you choose me for this, Percy?" She asked

"I trust you. I know we just met but i trust you more than anyone i've ever met" Percy admitted before interlocking their hands "Thank you"

"You feel the same right? Cause if you didn't that would be so embarrassing" Percy ranted as Asteria just laughed "Don't overthink it Percy" She smiled

"Gross" Asteria's face curled up in disgust as a guy walked out of the restroom

"We're soldiers on a mission. It's not a vacation" Annabeth told them "Thank you for clearing that up"

"Im sorry no one told you" Grover told Percy as Asteria zoned out a habit she had when she became uninterested in something

The bus suddenly came to a halt bringing Asteria attention back "I'll get everyone snacks"

"I'll come with you" Percy suggested as Asteria let go of his hand "No you'll stay right here" Annabeth shot back

Percy was trying to start a vote "Forget your vote lets all go it will be safer, that way no one is ever left alone" Asteria tried to make them come to an agreement

"Yeah whatever thats not happening, so is chips and soda okay with you guys?" Annabeth asked once more "Whatever just go get the snacks" Asteria groaned in annoyance before getting up

"Where do you think your going Asteria?"

"Stretching?" She furrowed her eyes before sitting back down "Holy shit!" Asteria shouted seeing a woman with wings

"Open the window!" Annabeth shouted approaching the group "Yeah dont gotta tell me twice" Asteria quickly dragged the boys with her as they tried to open the window

It finally broke as a creature flew in, Asteria got a dagger out of her pocket before hitting it in the heart "Lets go" Everyone jumped out, Asteria was the last out as she hit the ground "Ow!" She groaned as Percy helped her up

"You okay?" He examined her figure seeing a bruise from the impact "Im fine for now"
