In which Beatrice Flag discovers more about her mother's death than what met her eye

SUMMARY
Beatrice Flag was only 13 when (now this may sound strange but ) she died. Yep you read correctly the current Junior and most down to earth girl in her grade died when she was 13.

Yeah let me explain a bit. Her and her mother had been driving back from an out of town basketball tournament when something smashed the hood of their car causing the two to fly out through the windshield of the car.

Her mother got up without a scratch but her daughter wasn't so lucky. The woman practically screamed when she saw the state her daughter was in.

Beatrice Flag at age 13 was involved in what should've been a life ending accident ended up being a miracle.

Her mother saw her oldest child on the ground, blood pooling around her, shards of glass sticking out from her thighs to her skull. The child couldn't move at all she just lied there and choked on her own blood and felt her self about to die before seeing her mother rush over to her.

The woman slowly took her child's hand took a deep breath and began to work her magic or in other words powers. The shards started to disappear and the wounds healed themselves.

When the woman was down to the last shard buried deep in her child's chest but as she got to it she felt herself becoming way to weak. Then she collapsed beside the girl, she had used her abilities to heal her daughter as much as she could but the problem is that she couldn't stop the injuries she should've gotten from resurfacing.

Those said injuries killed the woman, the last thing she did was tell her daughter that she loved her and hoped that one day she'd forgive her.

The paramedics arrived and found the two females on the ground, the girl was still alive much to their surprise. The woman on the other hand had died from internal injuries and bleeding caused from them.

They then contacted Colonel Rick Flag who was destroyed at the sudden death of his long time wife.

Years later the Flag family is all alive, not as close as they were before but they were alive.

Beatrice and Mabel Flag were the closest sisters known in the small town and their father you may ask well most in the town don't talk about him because of how much of a sensitive topic it was.

After the death of Nathalie Flag, Rick began to bury himself in his ARGUS work and barely spent time with either of his two daughters causing the three to slowly drift apart.

Beatrice on the other hand was not only a sister to Mabel she was also like her mother. She'd make sure she ate ate all her meals, got home safe from school, helped her with homework, practice soccer with her and many more motherly duties.

Mabel would always be grateful for all her sister has done but unlike the latter she still relied on her dad.

Beatrice on the other hand stopped having hope and relied on herself for the sake of not being disappointed anymore.

Everything in the Flag family was how it had been for the past four years but things begin to change.

Especially when a family of six moves to the small town bringing chaos with them.

What happens when Beatrice gains the attention of the new boy that so many girls start to drool over?

What happens when he helps her find out what actually happened to her and her mother that night?

- But in reality the only thing that keeps her in that state in the memories of her mom and the time she spends with Mabel

- Mabel is played by Navia Robinson

- Nathalie is played by Teyonnah Pariss

- Rick Flag is played by Joel Kinnaman

- She mainly hangs out with Artemis or Beth

- Despite how many people tell her that Beth is too much or annoying etc

- She still plays basketball but when is football season she's on the team

- She's the captain of the girls team

- Many people are surprised when they see her play sports because of how 'girly' she dresses

- But then they see how good she actually is

- She's actually really athletic

- She tried to be there for Yolanda but she pushed her away

- Cindy is jealous of her but doesn't act on it because she knows how popular she is and that people aren't scared to defend her

- Mabel is also pretty athletic

- She plays soccer and basketball

- She befriends Mike

- Her and Jakeem are best friends

- Her role model is her older sister

- Beatrice and Mabel each have a cat

- You can decide the breed and their names

- Ones a girl and the other a boy

- Beatrice isn't actually naturally smart

- She works her ass off for every mark she gets

- But her best subject it Biology

- Beth usually helps her study

- even though Beth hasn't learned most of the stuff they do together she's there for moral support

- Her and Beth are basically best friends

- So are her and artemis

- She finds out about her powers when she's trying to save her injured cat

- She catches him/her and sees herself floating and being surrounded by energy

- Nathalie and herself basically have the same powers of Monica Rambeau in the comics

- Without the undying part

- Plus the healing powers

- The first person she calls is Dominic

- She also still has nightmares of that day

- Also has a therapist

- Now onto Dominic hehe

- Dominic is very similar to Courtney except he has a temper

- He isn't as impulsive as her though

- He's actually more like his mom than dad

- Kind caring etc

- he's also a year older than Courtney and in junior year like Bea

- HE DOESN'T BECOME A SUPERHERO

- when Bea tells him about her powers he's freaked out at first

- Then notices how scared bea is

- Oh and only Beatrice calls him Nicky or Nic

- Him and Beatrice are a slow burn

- They become really good friends tho

- He helps her discover what actually killed her mother

- Courtney has files on her mom because of the fact that her mom was the last living member of the JSA

- You can decide what her mother superhero name was

- She takes on that mantel to

- She's very protective over Beth

- Speaking of her relationship with Beth

- They're actually cousins but they don't know that

- Their mother's had a falling out years before they were born and they never found out

- She figures it out eventually

- Oh yeah and Beth find out that they're cousins through Chuck

- Bea and Dominic are absolutely adorable ngl
