Little Bakugou was going to see his friend for the last time. When he reached the playground however, he heard the familiar sound of crying from the top of the slide. He ran up the play set to find Kirishima sobbing between his knees.

"Oi," He called out. Kiri looked up slowly, his vision blurred by all the tears.

"Suki, you're, you're moving aren't you?" Kiri said sadly, getting ready to cry again.

Bakugou nodded slowly.

"Y-You're going to leave me... all by myself..." Kiri says softly. He slides down the slide.

Bakugou's fist tightens. He looks up, biting his lip. "EI, I HAVE A PROPOSAL!"

Kiri looks up as Bakugou slides down and grabs his hand. He looks deeply into Kiri's fiery eyes and proclaims, "EI, WILL YOU BE MY BRIDE!?"

Kiri's face turns red and he squirms. "W-Why!?"

"I promised that we would be together forever. So let's get married! Even if we're apart, we'll remember and cherish each other," Bakugou explains.

Kiri thinks for a moment then his lips curl into a large grin. "Ok!"

Bakugou smiles then pulls out two tiny rings from his pocket. He puts one on Kiri and Kiri puts one on him. After that, they look at each other.

"U-Uh... is this the part where we're supposed to kiss?" Kiri asks quietly.

"Yeah..." Bakugou gulps.

With all his courage, Bakugou gave Kiri a peck on the lips. This caused the both of them to turn deep red and look away.

Mitsuki's car pulled up to the playground. She hopped out the car and scanned the whole area for her son. "Hey Katsuki! We're leaving now!"

Bakugou turned back to Kiri who was starting to cry again. Both boys held each other in a tight embrace. Tears started to trickle down Katsuki's cheek as well.

Kiri's eyes widen and immediately try to wipe them away with his shirt. "Hey, hey, hey... Suki. Remember, we'll find each other again. Like you said, we'll be together forever. I promise."

Bakugou nods and sniffs. "I promise too..."

Mitsuki hugs Kiri before taking Katsuki's hand and leading him to the car. Bakugou looks over his shoulder and sees Kiri give him a grin and wave. He returns it with a sad smile.

Both of the boys look at their rings and press their fist against their chest. Both wishing their promise would be fulfilled.

"Oi, Shitty Hair," Bakugou said. "You kind of remind me of an old friend of mine."

"Really?" Kirishima asks as he takes a bite of his sandwich. "Tell me about him."

"We, he was the bestest friend I've ever had. He had a manly scar but would always cry over his quirk."

Kirishima tilted his head. He squinted his eyes at Bakugou. When he saw his smile, he realized something that made his heart stop.

"Also, before I moved away from him, I might have proposed to him. I know it sounds weird but we promised to-"

"Suki?" Kirishima cuts him off.

"Ei?"

Both had forgotten their promise.

Both had forgotten each other.

But both had somehow managed to find each other again.
