โœฐ...๐‚๐Ž๐๐๐ˆ๐„ kept both of his hands on the steering wheel, keeping his eyes on the road as he bobbed to 'ain't no fun' by snoop dogg that was blasting in the speakers of his white '72 chevrolet monte carlo. his concentration on rapping along to the lyrics to himself was interrupted after hearing rocky and zaire in the backseat, rapping louder to each other.

connie sighed and looked at the street sign to make sure he was at the correct location before turning right into your street route. connie was heading to your house since you thought it was a good idea for him to pick you up instead. he shook his head with a small smile growing on his face as he thought about the conversation you both had on the phone two nights ago, planning this 'date'. a hang out according to connie.

"you've never been on a date before? you're suppose to pick me up!" you held your pink telephone that was in your bedroom up to your ear, lying down on your bed with your white painted toes in the air.

"this isn't a date, beverly hills! especially if i got my boys tagging along. so right now, we just hanging out..." connie held his house phone up to his ear by his shoulder, you could hear the sound of his siblings tackling each other in the back over the tv remote.

"boy whatevaaaa," you dragged out your a's and huffed right after. he was always denying something and you've began to notice that this past week you've been seeing him at school, "okay. you're gonna pick me up on saturday got it?"

"got it," connie sighed.

"mhm, saturday...for our date, right?" you added on quickly, hoping that connie didn't get the chance to fully comprehend to what you were trying to say. it took everything in you to hold back your laugh after hearing connie open his mouth to respond.

"right.." connie answered without thinking too much about what you just said. but he suddenly started humming after realizing what you just said, "uh uh! you think you sli-" but you already hung up on him before he had the chance to say anything else.

connie's thought bubble bursted after hearing rocky and zaire both gasp dramatically at the large fenced gate that connie was beginning to approach. connie stopped his car in front of the gate and pressed the doorbell, his brows lifting up at the sound of someone's voice coming from the small speaker.

"richard's residents, are you expected to be here?" said a feminine voice. to the boys, she sounded like a robot, her voice being so direct and stern. connie looked at his friends and shrugged, the three of them looking at each other as if the answer would be stamped onto their foreheads.

"uh, yeah?" connie said to the speaker. a long pause was met as connie waited for the lady to begin speaking again.

"name?" the lady asked connie. he wasn't sure if telling the lady his name would be a good idea since she might report to your dad that a boy, who was a complete stranger to mr and mrs richards, named connie springer was here to see their daughter.

"big d rocky came here to see y/n!" rocky's shouts rung in connie's ear after he rose from his seat to lean forward. connie literally smacked the dorky grin off of rocky's face, rolling his eyes once rocky dramatically slumped in his chair and rubbing the side of his cheek. zaire flicking rocky's forehead right after.

"sorry about that, erm," connie mumbled and cleared his throat, "my names connie. we're just friends of y/n...from school," he uttered, rubbing his eyes and temple as if he's been stressed out. the lady went quiet again and the only thing that was able to allow connie's entrance, was the sound of the gate slowly opening.

connie deliberately drove through the open gates and let out a heavy sigh that rocky really almost had them caught up. further down the pathway that connie was driving on, was a luxurious mansion that was two stories with green, leafy bushes surrounding it.

connie drove in circles in the driveway, around the tall sculpture of what appeared to be an even bigger water fountain that was large enough to fill more than 30 birds in one. after connie finished driving around the driveway, he halted his car by pressing the breaks and parked in front of your wooden door.

"sucks that the others are missing this!" rocky alluded the 'others' to be eren, armin and jean. eren was forced to stay at home for being grounded since he thought it was a good idea to sneak in the teachers lounge and steal the staff's snacks. jean was too booked up at the garage he works at, fixing cars and stuff while armin was out with his grandparents playing golf.

zaire and rocky tried to see what the house interior looked like since the wooden door also had glass on it to show a little bit of the inside. connie lifted his lower body up a bit to pull out his phone to call you just to let you know that he was waiting for you to come outside.

two voicemails went through and you didn't answer your phone. he had plenty of ideas of what you might be doing for you to not answer your cell. such as repainting your nails, fixing your hair, taking your expensive, long shower. anything like that.

connie's sigh was dragged out as he dropped his phone into his cup holder and leaning back in his seat until you would call him back. but clearly, his idea of waiting didn't last much longer after feeling the back of his seat being nudge by rocky's knee.

"yo!?" connie whipped his head back to look behind him, eyeing his friends who were slumped in their seats after looking at the mansion for too long. zaire's legs were to long so he couldn't spread them out for his comfort and rocky was seated in the same position as zaire.

"let's knock on the door!" he suggested, connie shaking his head that rocky must've been out of his mind. connie wasn't the only one informed about your parents, the whole trio was. your dad was more of the strict one though, your mom was the more laid back one but strict about certain things like doing your chores or lying about your location, stuff like that.

"are you high? what if her dad's home?" connie waved his hand at rocky before moving it back to rest his head on it. rocky sucked his teeth and grumbled something under his breathe, scanning around the other cars near the large driveway.

"look, no cars are here besides y/n's," rocky pointed at your car that the trio vividly recognized. but connie then pointed out another car that was parked right beside yours and it definitely didn't look like it belonged to your dad since the plate was bedazzled with pink diamonds and had '๐Œ๐Ž๐Œ๐Œ๐€ ๐‘๐ˆ๐‚๐‡๐ˆ๐„' on it.

connie shook his head without giving rocky another response, "i mean...it's not like we gon ding dong ditch that shit?" zaire urges rocky's idea, like he always does. connie smacks his hand against the arm rest and looks at zaire in the slightest bit of annoyance.

"it don't matter," an eyebrow of connie's cocked up, beginning to argue. rocky flickered his eyes from his two friends that were going back and forth of going to knock on your door or staying to wait for you. growing overwhelmed between the bickering between the two, rocky shouted over their exchanged of words to shut them up.

"aight aight, relax bruh?" rocky mugged and shook his head from how immature the bickers were, "how bout this. connie, call y/n and if she doesn't answer again we'll just knock on her door. cool?" rocky paused with a thumb raising in the air. zaire shrugged and looked out the window, connie mumbling 'whatever' before grabbing his cell phone.

rocky sat back in his seat and rubbed his temple as if his friends arguing done stressed him out. this wasn't something new between connie and zaire. ever since last year, the two would often get into heated arguments over the smallest things. it even left rocky in shock at times at how the two of them still managed to be cool after hurting each other feelings in those arguments.

it was always rocky being the one that needed to break them apart once the arguments led to them getting into each other faces. rocky was the peace, the glue even so without rocky, zaire and connie most likely wouldn't be able to let go of their past grudges to apologize after every argument.

connie hated arguing with someone he called his homeboy. times where he even asked himself, was there something that he did to have the two bicker so much because no friend picks up petty arguments with their other friend for no reason.

"she didn't answer. the fuck is she doing in there?" connie dropped his cell phone back into the cup holder and sat up in his seat to look out the window. the boys didn't have much of a choice since they all agreed to knock on your door if you didn't answer connie's phone call again.

connie closed his car door and walked around his car to follow zaire and rocky to your front door, zaire hovering his knuckle in front of the door before giving it a hard triple knock. the three stepped back and waited for someone to open the door.

the door opened but no one was seen or that's what the three boys thought, "down here," a small voice grasped their attention, making the three snap their heads down to look at a little girl standing at the doorway. the little girl twisted her body slowly and blinked at the three, pouting cutely that they really didn't notice her at the door.

it looked like she just came out the pool, the way her towel was hanging by her arms. her pink, glittery one piece bathing suit matching her pink flip flops. her hair was in two pig tails, her hair still drenched with water which made her curls look more noticeable.

"uh..." the boys said in sync, looking at each other before shrugging. who's child was this and why are they letting her open doors by herself? connie was the first to step up, bending down to the little girl's height level, "hey lil girl, is your mom home?"

"i'm 12, don't baby talk me," she raised her hand up to connie's face, gesturing a 'boy please'. connie rose an eyebrow from behind the small hands that were in his face, his head whipping back to glare at zaire and rocky whore were snickering at the little girl's actions.

"yeah don't baby talk her," rocky imitated the same sass that the little girl had, snapping his fingers at connie. connie rolled his eyes and looked back at the little girl before pasting a forced smile on his face.

"PARIS! WHO'S AT THE DOOR!" a voice who belonged to an older woman shouted from somewhere in the house. paris, the little girl, looked over her shoulder before shouting back. "just some thugs mommy!" she let out a heavy sigh and turned her head to look back at the three boys who had appalled facial expressions at what paris called them.

rocky craned his neck out while keeping his jaw dropped, mouth wide opened in shock. zaire curling his upper lip while eyeing the little girl up and down for her attitude and connie clearing his throat as he clenched his jaw, shaking his head before pinching the bridge of his nose.

"i beg your pardon, puris?" rocky stepped up and waved his hand out in front of him, his head bobbing up and down before slowly crouching down beside connie.

"your pardon has been begged," paris shrugged, returning the same energy to rocky and rested her hand on her hip. rocky looked at zaire to make sure he's seeing what he's seeing, he brushed his thumb against the tip of his nose, "and it's PARis, not PURis."

rocky stood back up on his feet with his hands up in defense, mumbling sorries for saying her name all wrong. connie clasped his hands together and tucked his lips as he kept his gaze on paris who was glaring back at him with narrowed eyes. the three boys just kept their eyes on paris who was sending all of them stank faces, her pink glossed lips curling up as she eyed them up and down.

thankfully, the sound of flip flops slapping against the pearly tiles caused the heated mugged face tension between the boys and paris broke. the boys looked up and felt their shoulders slump in relief that it was you but snapped their eyebrows to see that you still haven't gotten ready yet.

"leave them alone paris," you shoo'd your little sister away, feeling annoyed at the glares and blueberries she was sending them. rocky and zaire both sticking their tongues out at the little girl, "hey guys, come in," you waved your hand to gesture for them to come inside.

as you waited for connie to walk in, you opened your arms to give him a hug. it caught him by surprise since he thought he would give you a handshake. his hand hovered on your back before he gently pressed his hands on your back to pat it. you pulled away with a greeting smile on your face before brushing past him to give rocky and zaire a hug as well.

"wow, y'all look good," your eyes lit up in attraction from how well dressed they were even if they're outfits was as simple as ever. connie's fascinating tattoos were shown off in the short sleeved, black and white patterned oversized flannel, his baggy black jeans being worn with it. his neck was decorated with two gold chains and a gold watch at his wrist.

rocky wore the same baggy black jeans but instead of a flannel, he wore the lakers basketball jersey with kobe bryant's number on it, a short sleeved white t shirt being worn underneath it. rocky's wrist were stacked with wrist bands, black, purple and white since those were his favorite colors. a silver chain that had his mom's initials on it 'L.P' was worn around his neck, catching a glimpse of a tattoo that begun near his collarbone and ending on the other side of it.

zaire wore an oversized black t shirt that had graffitied words on it, the tattoos of his forearm showing off just like his neck tattoo. you couldn't really read the words on his shirt but you knew it had something to do with the hood he grew up in. to match with his shirt, he wore khaki colored cargo jeans, baggy just like connie and rocky's. around zaire's neck was a gold chain that had small silver diamonds on them.

you even noticed the fitted caps that they all wore. you scanned your eyes at the black fitting caps and noticed the initials 'RCZ' were imprinted on them- R(rocky), C(connie), and Z(zaire).

rocky wore his cap backwards, his sideburns from his wavy hair poking out, zaire wore his sideways but looked like it was gonna come off since his locs were tied back in a ponytail, his fresh lined up hairline showing. meanwhile, connie just wore his normally.

after the boys thanked you for complimenting on their outfits, they bored their eyes upon you for a little longer, "i mean, you look good too," zaire blurted out, him and rocky snickering lowly at how fast you sucked your teeth from reaction. connie on the other hand, was rolling his tongue over his teeth and rolling his eyeballs as if what zaire said to you ticked him off.

you knew he was being sarcastic, you wasn't wearing nothing flashy besides your crop top and basketball shorts that you stole from your brother, who was far away from california to attend his junior year in college at harvard in massachusetts.

"shut up zay," you shot back, brushing past them to close your front door and playfully shoving zaire by his shouldered, "shoes off," you pointed at the matching high top, white air forces they all wore before beckoning the three with your manicured nails, gesturing for them to follow you up your stairs.

"c'mon," you were already walking up the stairs, connie hesitating to follow you at first since he wasn't use to going up in girl's rooms but ended up going after rocky and zaire zoomed past him to run up the stairs behind you.
