Ariana and (y/n) walked out of the mall and were immediately swarmed by paparazzi. They two would've been trampled if it weren't for the security keeping them at a distance.

"(y/n), Ariana, how are you guys?" One of the men with a camera asked.

"We're good." Ariana answered for them.

"Ariana, are you working on any new music?" The man asked.

"Always." Ariana laughed.

"Are you releasing anything soon?" He asked adjusting the camera in his hands.

"I don't know, maybe." Ariana gave a small shrug.

"Ok. So you two have been seen together a lot recently." He pointed out. "Are you guys dating?" He asked. Ariana blushed slightly, but did her best to hide it.

"No, we're just friends." (y/n) answered with a small laugh. No one noticed, but Ariana's face held a frown. They weren't dating, but she wished they were.

"Oh ok." He replied as they got to the car. Security opened the door for them and Ariana got in first with (y/n) following. "Have a good day."

"You too." (y/n) smiled closing the door. She looked over at Ariana noticed her sad look. "Ari, what's wrong?" She asked concerned at her sudden frown.

"Nothing." Ariana shook her head giving her a fake smile. "I'm great."

"Really? Because two seconds ago you looked like someone had just broken your heart." (y/n) said not believing her. Ariana looked down. She wanted to admit to her crush and she thought she had been obvious about it. The hand holding, wanting to be around her everyday, but she didn't want to lose her best friend.

"Do you really not know or are you just pretending so you don't have to hurt my feelings?" Ariana asked.

"What?" (y/n) questioned confused.

"I like you. I want to be yours." Ariana said. You couldn't tell by looking at her, but she was nervous for the next words to come out of (y/n)'s mouth. To her relief, (y/n) attached their lips. Ariana smiled and cupped (y/n)'s cheek.

"I want to be yours, too." (y/n) said pulling away. Ariana's smiled widened and her eyes became bright.

"Ready to go?" The security asked hoping into the car. Both girls blushed not knowing if he saw what just happened.

"Yes, sir." Ariana nodded her cheeks still red.
