"What?! That's a great idea!" Mattsun's eyes lit up as he stared at Iwaizumi with pure respect.

"I know right? It's our free day, might as well enjoy it" Iwaizumi chuckled lightly, his palms sweating slightly at the thought of finally going out on a date with Oikawa. It's been too long.

"Double date it is! I feel like Makki is gonna hate this idea, but whatever" Mattsun smiled before glancing at the sofa in the living room where Makki was sleeping peacefully.

"Why did you two even come here in a middle of the night? Scared me to death. I thought someone was gonna murder you" Iwaizumi suddenly remembered why he started talking to Mattsun in the first place.

The two of them frantically rang the doorbell at 2 AM, waking Iwaizumi and Oikawa up. Those two were exhausted and getting up at that time did not help. As soon as Iwaizumi opened the door he was met by Makki, who seemed so frightened that he could barely speak. Mattsun apologized and asked if they could stay, Iwaizumi nodded and let them be.

"Oh, that. Yeah we saw two cockroaches in our bedroom and there's no way we're sleeping there" Mattsun sipped on his tea as if he said the most normal thing while Iwaizumi just stared at him in disbelief.

It's been a couple of months since they had been living separately. Matsukawa and Hanamaki were living their family life, adopted a couple of kittens from YahaPets and started growing tomatoes for no damn reason.

Iwaizumi and Oikawa had time to really step up their relationship. They spent days just talking to each other, getting to know things they didn't already know. However, to Oikawa's great unfortune (is that even a word, y'all know what I mean anyway), they didn't have time to spice up their intimate relationship. Iwaizumi was busy with his restaurant, being the head-chef really took a tool on him.

Speaking of his restaurant, Oikawa was actually the owner. Oikawa wanted Iwaizumi to be, but the other insisted that he does not have the needed skills. Iwaizumi spent around 45 minutes flattering Oikawa's leadership skills and Oikawa gave in. On paper, Iwaizumi is the owner, but in reality Oikawa is.

I mean, he doesn't do that much as Iwaizumi does most of the work. Iwaizumi makes sure to keep track of all products, costumer reviews and so on, while Oikawa just sends out a couple of emails there and there.

Iwaizumi had named the restaurant "Tooru", that was his way of coming out and telling the public that he is in fact dating THE Oikawa Tooru.

"Iwa-chan.. You're up so early today, what's going on?..." Oikawa suddenly came into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes. Iwaizumi's t-shirts had become Oikawa's pajamas.

"Oh, hello boss" Mattsun said and waved, startling Oikawa.

"Oh, Mattsun. Fancy seeing you here? What's up?" Oikawa asked before falling into Iwaizumi's arms and cuddling up against his chest.

"Hard to explain, to be honest. You seem to be doing well. I haven't seen you at the company for a few days" Mattsun admired the two.

To think that not that long he and Makki were rooting for them to get together and now they were an actual couple - it just blew his mind. He hadn't seen Oikawa this happy in ages. Even the company's atmosphere changed when Oikawa came out.

"So, Tooru, do you wanna go on a date tonight? Me and Mattsun were thinking of a double date." Iwaizumi suggested. Oikawa's eyes immediately opened and sparkled.

"Yes! That would be amazing! What time is it?" He shivered with excitement.

Iwaizumi looked at his watch. "10:30 AM. You should get ready. The place we're going to only works during day time"

Oikawa quickly left a kiss on Iwaizumi's cheek before sprinting upstairs and slamming the bathroom door. It's his house. He can slam doors all he wants.

"Go wake up Makki and get ready too. Let's meet in an hour" Iwaizumi told Mattsun who simply nodded and went to wake up the sleeping beauty on the couch.

A date, huh? It's been a while since Iwaizumi took Oikawa out anywhere. No wonder he's so excited. Iwaizumi was excited himself too. This will finally give him a chance to really see Oikawa have fun.

All of them needed time to get ready and ended up meeting fifteen minutes later than they were supposed to. While Iwaizumi's excuse was that Oikawa was taking a long time to make sure his hair was perfect (though that was unnecessary, it will get messy anyway), Mattsun didn't have an excuse. He and Makki made out and honestly that's the only reason they were late.

"So, where are we going? Mattsun is not telling me shit" Makki asked as he stayed restless in the backseat.

"I don't know, Iwa-chan didn't tell me too" Oikawa spoke next to Makki. "Those two are planning something evil"

"What? No! Of course we're not!" Mattsun turned to them, smiling like a kid who just pulled all the arms off the barbie dolls like a sadistic fuck that he is. Like damn Mattsun, I didn't tell anybody about your little secret and why Makki enjoys having you in bed, have I? You two and your sadomasochist activities, I wonder how the readers would react if I exposed you two. Huh? You'd like that, wouldn't you, you dirty sluts? You are so d-----. Off topic here. My apologies.

"Oh god. Something bad is gonna happen" Oikawa shivered, he poked Iwaizumi's arm a few times before receiving an annoyed, yet sweet groan from the taller male.

"What? I'm driving, you know" Iwaizumi said, his voice hinting excitement.

"Iwa-chan~ tell me where we are going" Oikawa tried to act cute, but the lack of Iwaizumi's attention made him realize that maybe, just maybe, he really shouldn't bother the one person that's driving the car.

"You'll see soon" Iwaizumi said and smiled.

The rest of the ride was just Makki and Mattsun arguing over some game, Oikawa giving in depth reviews on trees. Must I quote "The king of trees must be the one and only - eucalyptus. It has  desirable traits such as being fast-growing sources of wood, producing oil that can be used for cleaning and as a natural insecticide or an ability to be used to drain swamps and thereby reduce the risk of malaria. That tree is a life source for many endangered koalas. Also, the scent of eucalyptus and medicine made with eucalyptus always helps people, so, I hereby declare eucalyptus the king of all trees". That guy really loves trees.

"Okay, we're here" Iwaizumi said as he made a sharp turn. Oikawa looked at the surroundings and mentally slapped himself.

It was an amusement park.

"Woohoo! Finally! They sell amazing caramel popcorn here!" Makki yelled as he opened the door and jumped out of the still-slightly-moving car.

"Iwa-chan, why?" Oikawa looked at Iwaizumi vulnerably and then proceeded to break into laughter. Amusement park date? Kind of childish, but really fun at the same time.

"Alright, so, we'll meet in the Fun Times cafe in two hours. For now let's go separately" Mattsun said. Iwaizumi nodded and watched as he chased Makki into the amusement park, mixing with a small crowd of people that were there.

It was a wednesday. Normal people were at their jobs.

"Shall we?" Iwaizumi asked as he held out his hand for Oikawa. The other took it and let Iwaizumi lead him. Though that didn't last long as soon Oikawa started pulling him towards the various games he wanted to try and rides he wanted to ride, not that Iwaizumi complained. Seeing Oikawa happy was everything that he needed.

"Iwa-chan, let's go on this one!" Oikawa pointed at a cup ride. The one where you and your partner sit down in this giant cup and spin around, you know what I'm talking about, I'm not a professional at all these attractions.

And so the two laughed and spun around and around, enjoying themselves. Quite a few people actually recognized them, but were either too scared to distract them or just found them too cute to be interrupted.

Oikawa also found a need to play the game where you have to shoot down an item that you want to get. He failed though, so he asked Iwaizumi if he could get him the giant stuffed cat. Iwaizumi was sure that the clerk was so scared of him that he pushed the plushie to the edge.

And so, Oikawa got his giant cat.

"Oh, OH! Let's go for that one! I want the second row, third from the left figurine!" Oikawa pointed at yet another game.

"The Todoroki Shouto one? You really like that show, don't you?" Iwaizumi smiled at his boyfriend before trying to win the figurine. He did, eventually.

Two hours passed in no time and the four of them found themselves at the cafe, it was way too colorful for Iwaizumi's liking, but Makki seemed to be impressed.

"Mattsun won me a Yuga Aoyama figurine" Makki pointed at the box on the table. Oikawa then proudly showed off his and they both got into a deep philosophical discussion about the qualities of a hero.

Somehow the time seemed to go faster today, compared to all other days. After the cafe they all went on a bunch of rides, including a rollercoaster that made Makki scream so loud that a bunch people thought he was dying. They visited the Mirror Room, the Scary House and many more attractions. Even the sun had started slowly going down.

The attractions started closing one by one. First it was the minor ones, then the cafes and the food stalls (Makki got to try out the popcorn, don't worry). As the sun kept going down, only one attraction was left open.

The ferris wheel. There's no better way to end a cute date than to go on a ferris wheel. Oikawa stared out the window as they kept going up, telling Iwaizumi how pretty everything looked, while Iwaizumi stared at Oikawa, just nodding.

"Iwaizumi.." Oikawa finally turned to his boyfriend. "Thank you. I had so much fun today"

"You don't need to thank me" Iwaizumi smiled sweetly. Oikawa took advantage of the moment and placed a kiss on his lips, full of warm feelings and love.

"Well, our date doesn't end here" Iwaizumi suddenly smirked. Oikawa raised an eyebrow in confusion. "It ends at home. In our bed. I sure hope you are ready"

Oikawa chuckled before biting on his bottom lip. "Why did you think I took ages this morning?"
