"Okay so let me get this gay, Oikawa hung up on Miko and then locked himself in his mancave, and isn't planning on letting anyone in?" Makki asked as he observed Iwaizumi's awfully perfect face. Jeez, that jawline...
"Yeah basically. I don't know else to put it. He seemed pretty stressed, but didn't want to talk about it. He said that it's his problem and he'll deal with it alone" Iwaizumi sighed loudly before drinking his whole cup of coffee in one big gulp. He had already prepared himself tea, apparently he drinks when he's stressed.
"Well, life isn't treating him well these past few days. Also, next time, don't fight like this. Makki almost had a panic attack" Mattsun placed his hand on Iwaizumi's shoulder and flashed an innocent smile. Behind that smile, however, laid the words "if you two argue again I will throw you out the window, how dare you hurt my baby".
Iwaizumi caught onto that.
"Yeah, sorry about that. It's not my problem he's so jealous" Iwaizumi averted his gaze, understanding his own fault.
"We seriously need to check on Oikawa otherwise he'll starve himself. Seriously, what is he thinking avoiding us like that? I'm so ready to kick him in the ass" Makki stood up and quickly opened the fridge. His half eaten tuna sandwich was still there, better keep it there for another ten days.
"His ass is sensitive, be careful" Iwaizumi said before drinking his tea like he said nothing out of the ordinary.
"Yeah, you'd know that the best. It's not like we ever heard you two going at it or anything" Mattsun smirked to himself befofe completely changing the topic. "So, who wants to boycott Subway?"
"Why would anyone? Anyway, I'm gonna go and see how he's doing" Iwaizumi stood up leaving those two in the kitchen. He didn't want to say anything, but he could sleep last night because those two idiots decided discuss gay stories in the middle of the night.
Iwaizumi would never admit it, but one of them sounded so interesting that he found it himself and read it. Needless to say, he enjoyed it a lot.
When he reached Oikawa's door he suddenly started doubting whether or not he should really disturb Oikawa's personal space, but at the same time he was worried for him. And so, he ended up knocking on the door.
"Yeah?" He heard Oikawa say.
"It's me, may I come in?" Iwaizumi asked. He heard Oikawa say a quick "sure" and opened the door.
Oikawa, surprisingly, had built a wall of papers in front of him. Now Iwaizumi for sure knew he was stressed, Oikawa would only work non-stop when something bad had happened.
"Hey, are you okay? Do you want to talk about anything?" Iwaizumi asked, but Oikawa shook his head.
"I'm fine, Iwaizumi. Don't worry about me. It's my problem, I'm gonna handle it myself" Oikawa tried reassuring Iwaizumi, but from his facial expression he could see that it didn't work.
"Look, it's getting late. At least go and eat something" Iwaizumi sighed loudly.
"I actually need to meet up with a business partner, so I'll be eating elsewhere. Seriously, Iwaizumi, don't worry. I got the hang of everything" Oikawa said, even though his words didn't impress Iwaizumi, the other still decided to leave him alone.
The moment Iwaizumi shut the door Oikawa let out a sigh.
He didn't have the hang of anything. As a matter of fact, he had no clue what to do. So far the only plausible plan was to come out before Miko can do anything, but even that could cause a lot of compications.
Not to mention, he felt bad for lying to Iwaizumi. He was going to meet Miko, not a business partner. He needed to change her mind or at least make her stop blackmailing him.
Oikawa glanced at his clock before leaving his office and heading downstairs. It was about time to go. Iwaizumi was probably in his room, reading. Only Mattsun was in the living room, they exchanged a few words before Oikawa headed out.
Today was already a stressful day. The whole Kimizuki thing, the argument and now Miko. It was all piling up and Oikawa didn't know how long he would last like this.
The car stopped at a nice restaurant and Oikawa found himself regretting a lot of stuff, one of which was accepting to meet up with her. He didn't even have to wait long. Miko made her appearance a couple of minutes later, dressed up in an expensive dress. Her hair was a little bit curly too.
"I'm surprised you actually came" she said in her annoying squeaky tone.
"I'm not here to play, Miko. Why would you even want to blackmail someone in the first place?" Oikawa asked, trying to keep his tone down. Just looking at her made him agitated.
"If I can't have you, no one can, Tooru" she said, her face was completely serious.
"That's quite obsessive, don't you think? Also, I don't want you, or do my feelings not matter?" Oikawa clenched his fist. He knew he had to control himself.
"I don't care what you think. Your parents blessed our marriage. So what if I cheated, happens to everyone. Your mother said that it didn't matter too" she spoke proudly, as if it was something to be proud of. Those who cheat are scums.
"Did you fucking tell my mother about me being gay?" Oikawa panicked, he wasn't ready for that yet.
"I didn't. I figured you'd finally agree to marry me and we would have no problems. Right, my sweet Tooru?" She smiled at him, but it wasn't a pleasant smile. For someone as stupid as her to think of this plan.. quite impressive.
"Can't you just fucking let it go? I'm not gonna marry you, get over it. You're acting like an obsessive little bi- -" Oikawa was cut off when Miko grabbed his tie and slammed her lips against his.
Oikawa heard a few snaps and before he knew it, the photos of the famed CEO Oikawa Tooru kissing his girlfriend in public we're already going around the internet.
How was he supposed to come out now?
.
