"Yes, of course! Do not worry about leaving the mansion to us" Makki said as he watched Oikawa struggling to put on his Louis Vuitton shoes.

"But I do worry. What if you guys burn it down? Or sell it on accident? I wouldn't be as worried if Iwaizumi was here, but he's out of town to visit his family... Just, don't do anything stupid, okay?" Oikawa turned to the two with a concerned look on his face.

"Don't worry about it! Seriously! We'll probably be busy watching movies and eating pizza anyway.. I'm just glad Miko is away" Mattsun smiled to himself as he sneakily put his arm around Makki's waist and pulled him closer.

"Okay.. I'll come back really late. If you go out anywhere - don't forget to lock the door. I'll be off now, act wisely" Oikawa said and left the mansion.

The two waited till Oikawa's car was out of site and sighed loudly.

"Jeez, he really has no trust in us when it comes to this mansion. It's not like we ever did anything to it" Mattsun fixed his hair, but Makki's small chuckle made him turn to the other male. "What's so funny?"

"Remember this one time we had a party here and Kuroo accidently broke his new TV? I think that's why he is doubting us" Makki turned to Mattsun with a brightest smile on his face.

"Aah, you're so cute I just wanna hug you and never let go" Mattsun pinched Makki's cheeks.

"Stop~ I'm not that cute" Makki blushed and hid his face in his hands, being alone with Mattsun was Makki's biggest weak point.

"Well, I promised you something a while ago and I'm holding onto that promise. Go get dressed, we're going out" Mattsun smiled at him. Makki raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Wait? Where are we going? I thought we were going to stay in" he noticed how happy Mattsun seemed, he kept fidgeting in excitement.

"Well, a few months ago I promised you that when we have a day to ourselves, I will take you out on a date. So I thought this was perfect time to do so" Mattsun simply looked away to hide his face which was slowly turning red.

"I thought you would forget! Ah, oh my god! Wait, I'm gonna get changed!" Makki started freaking out and quickly sprinted upstairs, only Mattsun's laughter following him.

The other was left standing in the living room. He took out his phone to check the notifications. Ah, just a few likes on Instagram, a message from Kuroo saying "so on concrete: we had to tape him to a chair naked" and a notification from this food app where Mattsun shared a picture of Iwaizumi's perfectly cooked stew. His lockscreen was obviously a picture of him and Makki.

"Do I look okay? Should I change? Where are we even going? Should I be more casual?" Makki attacked him with questions he got downstairs.

Matsukawa looked at the other and took a deep breath. Damn, he looked good. Especially with that slightly faded pink hair.

"You look perfect, don't change. Where we are going is a secret, but I'm sure you'll love it" he smiled and went to open the door for Makki like a good guy that he is.

Considering the time of the year the weather outside was better than Mattsun thought it would be. He led Hanamaki to the car, which he insisted on driving himself, because last time Makki drove a car, and must I mention it was Oikawa's beloved Mercedes, he crashed it into a tree after thinking that there was a dog laying in a middle of a busy street.

"I'm so excited! I can't wait. Did I ever tell you how amazing you are and how glad I am to have you by my side? Because I'm telling you now" Makki rambled as he kept fidgeting in his seat.

"I'm flattered, I really am" Mattsun tried to keep his eyes on the road, but SOMEONE was constantly annoying him and poking him.

"Do you think Oikawa and Iwaizumi will get together soon?" Makki suddenly asked as they stopped because of the red light.

"Hopefully. Iwaizumi is truly someone a lot of people dream of dating. He's handsome, intelligent, a good cook and would be a good father" Mattsun nodded his head, it was simply the truth.

"Why do you think he would be a good father? I mean, I agree, but.." Makki turned to the other.

"Yesterday we went to a shop together while you were busy with Miko's papers. This child was lost at the store and Iwaizumi acted like a real dad. The lady couldn't thank him enough, I think she gave him her number too" Mattsun chuckled.

"Who's more handsome, me or Iwaizumi?" Mattsun almost hit the brakes due to this question, but answered without hesitation.

"You" he said. Makki felt silent after his answer and just enjoyed the amazing views that Tokyo had to offer. After around 10 minutes Mattsun finally reached the destination.

It was one of the most prestigious and expensive restaurants in Tokyo, one that Makki had been dying to visit.

"You did not! Oh my god!" Makki couldn't contain his excitement anymore as he pressed his face against the car window and waited till Mattsun found a good spot to park the car.

"Let's go, shall we?" Mattsun said before exiting the car.

"Shall we skate~?" Makki sang as he jumped out of the car.

Good thing Mattsun made reservations, the place was crowded with people dying to try out the soft shell turtle soup or horse meat.

"A reservation for Matsukawa Issei?" he asked as he approached the lady at the reception desk.

"Ah, yes. Please follow me" she spoke in a nice tone. Makki clung to Mattsun's hand as the two passed the main area and walked through a corridor to private rooms.

"Please press this button once you're ready to order" the lady showed them a button next to the door and left the room.

"You got us a private room... I cannot believe you. This must have cost a fortune! Even Oikawa barely gets a table here! And... Are my favorite songs playing?" Makki asked as he heard one of his favorite songs called Love Is Not Over playing.

"It did cost me, but it's worth it. There is a thing here that I know you always wanted to try, so" Mattsun sat down in front of Makki and waited till the other finally spotted the meal.

"Fugu!!!! It's so expensive though, are you sure about this?" Makki was still a bit concerned, the private room at this restaurant itself must have cost around ¥27,000. And if they both were to order Fugu along with drinks and desert, it would be around ¥65,000 in total.

"Makki, we spend Oikawa's money on food, I don't buy that many designer clothes. I barely spend money so I have more than enough" Mattsun reassured Makki and the two were ready to place their order.

Of course, Makki had a blast finally fulfilling his dream and trying out the poisonous fish, he also had to try out the icecream with edible gold and drank a very tasty cup of white tea. So basically, he felt like a royalty.

Mattsun was just happy to see the other so hyper and excited, he was glad to hear all those "it tastes so good!" and "I want a life supply of this gold". Seeing Hanamaki like this made him want to spend even more money on him.

"Mattsun, you're really spoiling me today" Makki smiled brightly at the male sitting in front of him.

"I know, but I delayed this date for months, so I think I should spoil you. I know you had been dreaming of coming here, so.." Mattsun ended up paying more than he intended to, though money wasn't a problem.

Hanamaki, now completely full, proudly walked through the main area of the restaurant and followed Mattsun out of it.

"So, what now? Going home or?" Makki asked as he noticed how quickly it was getting dark.

"Nope, not yet" Mattsun gestured the other to get into the car. The main part of his date was coming.

The excited pink-haired male did not expect such a long drive somewhere. At first he though Mattsun would take him to some hotel, maybe somewhere pretty, but as the time kept going - he kept driving. It kept getting darker and darker, but Mattsun didn't stop. He didn't even spoil a little bit.

Makki's eyes soon became focused on the surroundings, he realized that soon they would leave the city which made his curiousity grow even bigger. It wasn't until 30 minutes later when Mattsun finally stopped the car in a middle of nowhere.

"Wha--?" Makki was so confused he couldn't even speak properly.

"Trust me" Mattsun got out of the car and waited for Makki to join him.

"What are we doing here? In a middle of nowhere..." Makki was gonna ask more questions, but he felt Mattsun's hand on his chin and soon the other made Makki look up at the sky.

Now it all made sense.

This many stars wouldn't be visible from the city. The sky... It was so beautiful, millions upon billions of stars were seen surrounding the full moon, some brighter, some more dim. A few shooting stars went by and as Makki kept looking at the sky he noticed even more things. A line of brighter stars which indicated the part of Milky Way, a more reddish star which was actually Mars and a large blueish spot. Truly, the nightsky is one magnificent thing.

"Mattsun... I'm speechless..." Makki managed to say.

"I remember these things, you know. You told me around a year ago that you wished to say a clear night sky full of stars with me.. I wanted this day to be your day" Mattsun spoke in a sweet tone.

Makki suddenly fell into his arms and hugged him tight, hiding his face in Mattsun's chest.

"What? Is something wrong?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around the other.

"What did I do to deserve you? You're so perfect I don't even know where to start.." Makki spoke softly.

"I'm at my best because I have you" Makki finally looked at Mattsun, the moonlight illuminated a small smile on his face.

Matsukawa slowly leaned in a pressed his lips against Hanamaki's. The other immediately melted into the kiss and closed his eyes, enjoying the sweet moment. With no intention to pull away Mattsun pulled Makki closer, the kiss turned into something more and soon Mattsun was biting on Makki's lower lip. The other was more than willing to let him in.

"We should head home and take this to our room" Mattsun said as he finally pulled away after a good 15 minutes of making out.

"I think so too" Makki smiled, but remained in his arms a bit more.

"Today was the most amazing day in a while... Seriously, you're the best" Makki said as he rested his head against Mattsun's chest.

"Anything for my boyfriend.. I love you, Hanamaki" he said as he placed a kiss on other's forehead.

"I love you too, Matsukawa... Thank you for this amazing anniversary gift"
