ten

"ahem!" a loud noise woke akaashi up, though he had troubles moving as kuroo had his arms wrapped around him tightly. the two of them were in kuroo's bed, so what was the noise? he felt warm and comfortable sleeping in an embrace of a fit man with a nice chest, like a kitten snuggling up to a heater - he could feel the warmth.

there was another noise, the bed felt like it sank in just slightly. akaashi opened his eyes to meet the gaze of a jealous young man standing in front of the bed. "oh, kenma... good morning" akaashi spoke in his raspy morning voice, melting away all the negativity for a second. but only for a second.

"what... are you two doing? and why was i not invited? excuse me?" kenma placed his hands on his waist, his eyebrows furrowed as he stared at the two, more so at kuroo who had his arm wrapped tightly around akaashi's naked waist. overall, the entire view of his older boyfriend hugging his half-naked new boyfriend stirred up feelings of jealousy.

kenma wanted to be sandwiched between them.

"oh, uh... we were sleeping" akaashi spoke, there were no lies in what he said though. the memories from last night's date were still fresh, but clean enough. after the date, after they began kissing - akaashi felt like he was in heaven. kuroo had soft lips, he knew just where to place his hands - one on akaashi's neck, one around his waist. he knew when to pause and when to continue.

akaashi had never kissed anyone like that before. kuroo was extremely gentle and careful with what he did as to not step over any boundaries akaashi might have. he stopped somewhere into the second hour of kissing while the two were already on the bed, akaashi straddling his legs, his hands tangled in kuroo's hair.

kuroo pulled away, their lips red and swollen from all of the kissing, akaashi's neck with fresh marks and kuroo's too. he told akaashi that they should rest and when akaashi asked him why he never went further kuroo said that he values akaashi for him and not just his body - that he wants to save their experiences for when all of them are together.

akaashi felt his heart jump.

and so they went to sleep, cuddling each other, both content with how their first date went.

"well, next time you two decide to sleep like this invite me too, damn" kenma scoffed, but it seemed like his anger had already gone away. as he was about to turn his head away from akaashi and kuroo who was just waking up and opening his eyes, akaashi opened his arms - inviting kenma into his embrace.

without another word kenma jumped into his arms, a smile appeared on his face as he snuggled up to akaashi's bare chest. kuroo, while also smiling, threw his arm around kenma, squeezing the two closer to himself.

akaashi could feel his cheeks burning up, his heart felt like it was going to smash through his ribs from how rapidly it was beating. he could feel kenma's arms slithering around his body, his hair was tickling akaashi's neck. wow... what a morning.

nothing like waking up and immediately being sandwiched between your hot boyfriends.

the three of them stayed in bed for a few more minutes before kuroo's alarm started ringing and he was forced to get out of bed, because, kuroo was apparently a psycho who charges his phone on the other side of the room instead of next to his bed.

kenma took advantage of the situation and tackled akaashi, straddling his chest while he towered above him. "so, what about our date? you said i will have you for a whole day" kenma said as he placed his palms on akaashi's chest.

"first of all, yes. you will be able to do whatever you want with me for twenty-four hours. second, you're bold." akaashi chuckled nervously. it was still early morning and his body was just beginning to function. sooner or later he will have to take care of his morning issues, and kenma straddling him wasn't helping.

"whatever i want?" kenma bit the corner of his lip.

"whatever you want" akaashi smirked. the two were interrupted by kuroo clearning his throat and raising his eyebrow.

"i love what you two are doing here and i could watch for hours but we need to get up. kenma, let akaashi get out of bed" kuroo said in a stern voice, ignoring the pout that formed on kenma's face.

"but you got to cuddle him all night!" kenma protested, his eyes fell on akaashi again, more specifically on the marks on his neck left by kuroo from the previous night. "and kiss him!"

"kenma, i promise i will let you kiss me for hours. can i please get up? i need to visit the bathroom" akaashi asked. reluctantly, kenma got off of akaashi, he glared at kuroo as if cursing him for interrupting the fun time he was having.

akaashi practically sprinted to the bathroom, there were a few things he needed to take care of. after akaashi got rid of those, he ended up jumping into a cold shower. he just... couldn't keep a smile off of his face. how is possible that he's so happy right now? how did those two manage to do it?

as he came back, he saw kuroo and kenma setting the mugs and plates on the table. apparently it was sandwiches for breakfast today, with some tea. "oh, here you are. c'mon, i made breakfast" kuroo said as he tapped on the chair, inviting him to sit down.

there was something magical about this morning. kenma had seated him comfortably on kuroo's lap, he asked question after question about their date the day before. kuroo boasted about them visiting the exhibition, having a fun time at a cafe, about how they found out more about themselves and so forth.

all akaashi could do was marvel at the dynamic the two of them had, but at the same time he felt very much like he was a part of them right now. the three of them talked about nothing and everything, they ate and drank their tea. at some point, kenma switched from kuroo's lap to akaashi's.

"ah, i could kill for a candy bar right now," kenma said somewhere mid-conversation about the milky way being one of the best sweets.

"i can get one from the vending machine downstairs." akaashi said. he watched as kenma turned his head to him, his eyes sparkling.

"pretty please?" he said, making an even cuter face than before. is that even possible?

"of course. kuroo, you want anything?" akaashi asked as kenma got off his lap letting him stand up.

"uh, can you get me a pepsi?" akaashi nodded at kuroo's request and grabbed his wallet, happy that he had some coins left. he went out the door after listening to one more comment from kenma about how the shirt he was wearing suit him and happily went down the stairs and out the main entrance to the dorms.

his eyes were set on the vending machines outside. maybe that's why he didn't notice a certain someone sitting on the bench under a tree, watching him as he skipped to the vending machines and started putting coins in.

bokuto's eyes were fixated on every single movement akaashi was making. part of his brain was wondering why akaashi hadn't contacted him yet. after all, akaashi liked having fun, right? and he had said that bokuto is great in bed, so why wasn't he contacting him? why wasn't he coming back? was he really that hurt by the words he had spoken?

as akaashi was about to head back, his phone rang. the called id said "male parental figure", which was what akaashi's dad asked him to name him. he ended up not rushing, leaning against the vending machine talking to his father who was inviting him to visit home with his friends.

from the distance, bokuto couldn't make out the words he was saying. not that his brain would allow him anyway, he was too busy thinking about why akaashi hadn't come to him yet.

to bokuto... this was weird. the fact that he was thinking about another guy was weird. usually, he would never think about other guys in such a way, but akaashi was different. there was something about him that separated him from the rest. maybe it was his looks or his laid-back personality, maybe it was the way lewd noises would escape his lips. maybe.

who knows.

all bokuto knew that for the past few days all he had been thinking about is akaashi. he was the only thing on his mind and it was getting to the point where it was getting annoying. he kept going through their messages, his fingers were itching to text akaashi. he had been even having dreams about him - it was annoying. why him? why a guy?

liking guys is... weird? disgusting?

he wasn't sure.

to be honest, his opinions weren't even his, but that's a thing he had yet to acknowledge and accept. 'i should just talk to him while he is here. i don't wanna face kuroo again' bokuto thought to himself as he stood up, fixing his shirt to head over to akaashi.

before he could do that, though, two figures burst through the front door. kuroo and kenma looked around before they spotted akaashi, barreling towards him with force. there was a moment of impact, followed by akaashi screaming into the phone that he will come over.

what bokuto saw was a smile on akaashi's face. a smile he had never seen before. a genuine one, bright, his eyes sparkling as the two guys embraced him. and... bokuto felt like a needle pierced his heart.

he wondered... why he felt that way as he turned around and walked away, head hanging low.
