This roleplay takes place in a kingdom called Arvonia, which is not only torn by rebellion, but also faces the threat of war from the kingdom to the north, Sapient. In an attempt to unite the country and calm down the rebellion, King Aster of Arvonia has selected 20 rebels or rebel- sympathizers to compete for the hands of his children. While neither the rebels nor the royals are happy with this choice, the rebellion thinks that their cause could benefit from the Selection and help get their name out there.

This world has modern- day technology, like cameras, television, planes, and cell phones.
