Madison Stark tried once again, but failed all the same. The girl looked up and gave a frown while she crossed her arms. She then fully gave up and flopped back onto the bottom bunk of the bed.
The younger Stark looked up at the ceiling of Peter's apartment, and Peter himself was looking down at her. He had just gotten back from patrolling and was still in his Spider-Man suit. Peter had taken Madison's phone from her when he snuck into his room.
She had been trying for a good five minutes and had just now given up. She looked at her boyfriend's face, which was concealed from the Spider-Man mask.
"Come on, Sunshine," Peter taunted teasingly, "You can't give up that easily."
Madison looked away, "You know I'm to short for this. You already tower over me, and now you're on the ceiling on all fours."
"I you literally also have powers," Peter replied.
"But that would be cheating, and I might actually hurt you," Madison stated, giving Peter a glare.
The boy then let go of the ceiling to where he was hanging upside down. The eyes on his mask narrowed as he looked at his girlfriend, "Maddie, I know you know that I have super healing. You have it also."
"Yeah only because our DNA is completely different from other people now," Madison stated as she rolled her eyes.
"And that means that even if you do accidently hurt me then I will be okay," Peter replied, tilting his head to the side.
Madison then looked away, "I would never want to hurt you. Now give me my phone back."
She then tried to reach out and grab her phone, but Peter was to quick with his Spider-Sense and moved out of the way.
He mockingly waved the phone at her, and she knew that he was smiling underneath the mask. Madison crossed her arms once more and let out a huff, "What do you want?"
"Hmm. What could I possibly want from my girlfriend?" Peter asked as he swaying back and forth.
Madison then let out a small laugh as she reached out and pulled the mask of Peter's head. A warm smile was plastered on his face, and his hair was now going every which way.
"At least now I can see that pretty face of yours," Madison stated, admiring the messiness of his hair by running her hands through it.
Peter closed his eyes for a split second and the opened them again once Madison snatched her phone out of his hand.
"Hey," Peter huffed, "That's cheating."
"Oh yeah. How so?" Madison asked as she leaned back and pulled up her camera.
Peter then crossed his arms and gave a pouting face, "Because you're distracting."
"Oh that sucks, but smile Babe," Madison replied as she pointed the camera at her boyfriend.
The boy then stuck out his tongue and held up peace signs as the flash from the camera went off. Madison then looked at the picture and smiled to herself. Then she showed the picture to Peter.
"You are literally the cutest human in the world," Madison gushed, "I'm gonna have this picture framed."
Peter then rapidly shook his head, "Oh God, please no."
"To late," Madison said as she tossed her phone to the side, "It is now my favorite picture of you."
"You are always taking pictures and recording everything," Peter stated, crossing his arms once again.
The girl gave a shrug as she leaned in closer, "What can I say: I'm just like my dad. Is that such a bad thing?"
"Nope," Peter replied, "Not at all."
"Good, because then that would be a problem," Madison smirked as she leaned in even closer and kissed him.
Peter quickly returned the kiss and put his hands on the sides of Madison's face. It was weird for Madison as she kissed someone hanging upside down, but she didn't really care. She never really cared about anything when she kissed Peter.
Everything in the world always seemed to fade away. Everything except Peter, and how quickly her heart would start to beat because of him. So she paid no mind to him being upside down and how weird this kiss was. She only paid attention to the fact that it was him.
Madison hadn't realized that her eyes had closed shut until Peter pulled away and dropped to the floor. He gave Madison a smile, "As much as I would love to continue that, I should probably get changed before May comes home."
"You do that Spider-Man, and I'll go get the movie ready," Madison grinned as she walked past Peter and gave him another quick kiss.
Then she walked out of his room and shut the door behind her. Madison then made her way over to the huge shelf of movies that Peter had, most of them were classics which Madison loved. Both her and Peter absolute huge movie nerds, and Tony would often get mad at them for the constant movie references.
As she scanned the shelf, Madison found Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. Which was the first of the Star Wars movies chronologically, and that was the movie she decided on. She put the movie in and it began to start playing the ads.
She then hear Peter's bedroom door open and Madison grabbed on of the toy lightsabers that was in a bin next to the shelf. She then hid behind a corner and as soon as she saw Peter she held the glowing weapon to his throat.
"Prepare to die, young Padawan. For if you do not agree to the movie chosen by the First Order then you must be put to death," Madison spoke, making her voice deeper.
Peter held his hands up in defense, but then he grabbed the lightsaber out of Madison's hands and chucked it across the room. Then in one swift motion, Peter picked up Madison and threw her over his shoulder. She didn't even have time to fight back as she was then thrown onto the couch and Peter began to tickle her.
Laughter filled the room as Peter continued to attack the girl. Eventually Madison gave up after tears started to fill her eyes and the movie began to play the opening scene.
"Surrender and join the Resistance, young Jedi," Peter laughed.
"Okay, okay," Madison huffed, "I'm on your side."
Peter then stopped tickling her and sat on next to her on the couch, "Good choice."
"I'm always on your side, Peter," Madison laughed as she caught her breath.
She then scooted closer to him, and Peter wrapped his arms around her. The two then fell into a silence as Madison watched the movie. And all the while she was doing something that had became a natural habit. She started to listen to the calming sound of Peter's heartbeat as she enjoyed this moment with him.
