Fred was trying to get you to go the Yule Ball with him, but you always avoided him, or said you needed a formal and meaningful invitation instead of a 'you-me, ball'. One day at dinner, Cedric Diggory made a grand ball-posal, giving you your favourite flowers and chocolates. You said yes, winking at Fred in amusement. Everyone but the twins clapped, as Fred was annoyed and George was bummed that his ship didn't get to sail.
