"so," Austin started as he walked into the living room. "what are your plans for tonight?"

Farah pulled her bottom lip in between her teeth as she thought about her answer. in that time, Austin took a seat on the sofa next to the girl and placed his arm around her shoulders, pulling the girl into his side.

"well, i was gonna pack a bowl or two, smoke, and watch Community. wanna join?" she looked up at him through her eyelashes and held a wide grin on her face. Austin groaned and placed his hand over his face.

"boring!" he jokingly yelled.

"boring?!" the girl retorted. "alright then, fine. tell me what your plans are for tonight if i'm so boring."

Austin looked over at the girl with a shit eating grin. "i'm going out tonight and you're going with me." he said with a confirming nod.

"no!" Farah protested with a whiny voice. "you know what happened the last time i went out, and i would not like to repeat that! thank you very much!" the girl crossed her arms over her chest with a huff, causing Austin to chuckle at the memory.

"oh Farah, come on! it wasn't that bad!" the boy said reassuringly. Farah just rolled her eyes distastefully.

"yes it was! Austin, i got my shit rocked by Pink Whitney. Pink Whitney!" she emphasized, her eyes wide with horror. however, the girl's visible horror did not stop Austin from laughing a bit louder.

"okay, i guess. but that's way in your past now!" the boy reached out and grabbed onto her shoulder, vigorously shaking her to try and work her into going out.

Farah scoffed. "two weeks ago is so not in my past. Maddie still makes fun me for it." she pouted while looking over at her friend. he looked rather unimpressed with her reasoning, and he eventually continued to keep trying to convince her.

the girl remained persistent in keeping her original statement despite Austin's numerous attempts to try and get her to leave the apartment. he wasn't sure at what point he stopped trying, but he knew that it happened soon after Drew came home.

"ah! just the man i was looking for!" Austin called out once he saw his roommate stalking through the kitchen. Drew looked up at him with a bewildered look on his face.

"i didn't do it!" he stated quickly, dispersing any of the illusionary guilt onto others.

"do what?" Austin questioned with a raised eyebrow. Drew shrugged in response before grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge.

"i dunno man, couldn't tell ya."

both Austin and Farah gave Drew a blank look as he sat down in between the two, purposefully separating them and then wrapping each of his arms around their shoulders.

"so, anyways, i was trying to convince Farah to go out tonight but she won't budge. convince her for me?" Austin pleaded while folding his hands together. Drew chuckled and shook his head knowingly.

"after her bout with Pink Whitney? nah. i think that's enough embarrassment to last Farah a lifetime." he said jokingly even though his words were laced with truth. the girl let out a loud groan and threw her head back.

"okay, it wasn't that embarrassing Drew!" Farah defended herself. "ah, well...it was embarrassing, but not a lifetimes worth!"

both Austin and Drew laughed. Drew gently patted the girl's shoulder as a means of reassurance before squeezing her shoulder.

"i was just joking with you. but i stand by my statement that Farah should not go out tonight."

Austin groaned in defeat. "why?"

"we have early scenes tomorrow morning! gotta be there at five for makeup..." Drew let his voice trail off as he explained his reasoning, his hand flipping in the air as he spoke.

"five for makeup?! lord, have mercy." the boy shook his head in dramatic disbelief.

"you're tellin' me." the girl huffed. "imagine being the one waking up for said five a.m."

"could never be me. my makeup artists love me, i am a true angel." Austin chirped while placing his hands under his chin innocently.

"no, the Pate brothers just favor you, you sad, failed Disney kid." the girl reached around Drew to pat Austin on the shoulder. the boy scoffed, feigning offense as he lifted his hand to his heart.

"how dare you?! take that back right now!" he roared, jokingly in a british accent.

"never! suck my dick, North."

"no yo- i'm not gonna say that, actually." Austin caught himself before he let the rest of his words tumble past his lips recklessly.

Farah's face turned a light shade of pink. she understood exactly what Austin was about to say, and although she appreciated the fact that he knew better to not say anything like that to her, she still felt a tad embarrassed for some odd reason.

"like i was saying, the Pate brothers favor you and if you can't see that, then i guess that's your problem." Farah waved her hand around as she spoke, trying to draw their attention away from her still tinted face. their eyes followed her hand around like a cat following a laser pointer.

"that's bullshit. when have they ever showed favoritism towards me?" Austin interrogated. Farah narrowed her eyes at him accusingly, though it was made clear that she was joking with the rest of her body language.

"i could write a book about it!" the girl responded dramatically. she lifted herself up from the couch about a centimeter before leaning towards Drew, her body still hovering even after she moved in closer to the boy.

"yeah, right. i gotta go pick up Deion." Austin ended their conversation with a quick nod. Farah raised her eyebrows and watched as he got up from the sofa. as he moved away, the girl found herself leaning forward to follow him.

"wait," Farah tilted her head and lifted her hand, keeping her palm parallel to the floor as she thrusted it towards the boy. "what do you mean Deion? in what context do you need to pick up Deion?"

Drew laughed quietly beside Farah, his shoulders shaking merrily.

"i'm picking him up to go to the club! duh." Austin said exaggeratedly. "you wanna go with me?"

"no! cause then you'll just trick me into going clubbing and you know that once i'm there i technically won't say no." Farah reasoned, though her attempts only made Austin more persistent.

"okay, so then you should come with me."

Farah shook her head. "no."

"pleaseeeee?! for me?" Austin pleaded, lifting both of his hands up and folding them.

"hey, you heard the lady! she doesn't wanna go out. it's scary out there for her, man! she could run into pink whitney and then what?! Farah's goin to prison!" Drew said before laughing at his own joke. Farah sighed and shook her head.

Austin joined in on the laughter. "sorry Fay. you know i like to tease you." Austin got up from the couch and shuffled around Drew before putting most of his weight onto Farah.

she grunted on impact and he wrapped his arms around her shoulders. she reluctantly did the same, but eventually gave Austin a tighter hug.

"i know. have fun tonight, Austy. i'll join you some other night." the girl promised as she rubbed her hand along Austin's shoulder blades.

"yeah, i'm sure you will." Austin pulled away from Farah before placing an obnoxiously loud kiss to the top of her head. he then turned to Drew and smiled gently.

"i'll see ya, man."

"bye Austin. let us know if you need anything! have fun!" Drew said with a grin of his own. Austin nodded and saluted to them before turning on his heel and making his way to the door.

once he was gone, Farah turned to Drew and smiled widely. "care for some bong hits, jesus?"

"do you even have to ask?!"
