Practice ended for the Karasuno high volleyball team. While everyone else was packing up and leaving, Hinata and Kageyama had to clean up. They picked up all the volleyballs scattered across the court and sweeped up the floor afterwards. Everyone else was gone by now so they locked up the doors and left. It was late, the sky being dark and the stars shining brightly.

The two boys would walk home together everyday, oftentimes going to one another's house. Today was a Friday and there was no school tomorrow. "Kageyama, do you want to stay over at my house tonight?" Hinata gazed over at the taller male with a nervous grin.

"Mm, sure." Kageyama replied, plainly. This was all the ginger needed to hear for his smile to grow wide. "Great! Let's go!" Hinata grabbed his arm, jerking Kageyama forward. The dark haired male stumbled slightly as he tried to keep up with him.

"Slow down a bit! there's no need to rush." Kageyama said gruffly. Hinata turned his head to look back at him. "You're right. I guess I just got excited." The last sentence was said in a low whisper but, just enough for Kageyama to hear. His face was flushed with a bright red coloring.

"Are you alright? Your face got red all of a sudden." Hinata's hand reached up to touch Kageyama's forehead but he pushed his hand away. "I'm fine. It's just..kinda cold." His voice trailed off and he looked to the side. Hinata thought nothing of his answer, although unusual.

After reaching Hinata's house they went inside. "Sorry for the intru-" Kageyama began to say before being interrupted by the male beside him. "My family isn't here right now. They won't be back until later tonight." He stared blankly, now processing that they would be alone for the night.

"That just means we can watch a bunch of movies!" The eager male ran into his room leaving Kageyama to just stand there. He shook his head and cleared his thoughts. He followed after Hinata and stepped inside of his room to see him pulling out multiple movies. "So, which do you want to watch first?"

"Why don't you just choose? I'm not very familiar with any of these." It was true but really an excuse to hide that he didn't care to watch anything. He had only agreed to coming over because he wanted to spend more time with Hinata.

"Okay, then..this one!" It looked almost like a romantic comedy based on the cover. "Sure." The movie was then set up and they started watching. It started off boring and neither of them looked that interested in it. It was only halfway through the movie when Kageyama felt a small weight fall onto his shoulder. He turned his head to see Hinata fast asleep and leaning against him. He didn't want to wake him up, so he grabbed a blanket from the side and lifted it over the smaller male.

Seeing his sleeping face made him grin. 'Cute' he thought to himself. "Wait- what am i thinking?" He couldn't believe what was going on through his mind and tried to distract himself by continuing to watch the movie.

Kageyama yawned. It was finally over but Hinata was still sleeping on him. He sighed, "I should probably wake him up now." He was going to call out to him but he hesitated and just stared at his face. In the next moment he did something he would never have imagined himself doing; he reached over and lifted the hair from Hinata's forehead and kissed it.

He froze up, realizing what he had done. 'Did I just- No, no I couldn't have.' Hinata shifted and looked up at Kageyama, who was extremely close. "Oh, you're awake.." This was all he could say, as he didn't move. He hoped he wasn't aware of what he'd just done.

"Kageyama, did you kiss my head?" Hinata couldn't help but be confused and also a bit happy. He needed to say something. "Well, I.." He backed away and stood up quickly. He was too embarrassed to answer the question. "I think I should go." He turned around and grabbed his belongings, prepared to leave and forget about this incident.

Before he exited the room Hinata grabbed onto his sleeve. "Wait, don't leave." He didn't want to face him. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that." He wanted to rush out the door but Hinata was still holding on to his sleeve. "Idiot, look at me." Kageyama looked back at him and saw the blush on his face.

Hinata wrapped his arms around him and buried his face into his chest. "Hinata?" His eyes were slightly widened and he wasn't sure what to do. He dropped his bag and let his hands slide around to his back. Mumbling was heard from against his chest. "What are you saying?" Hinata lifted his head up. "What was all that for? You kissed my head and were just going to leave after?" Kageyama was trying to think of what to say. He was speechless and nothing came to mind. He had only just stared down at Hinata's face and decided to just go for it. He leaned down and kissed him. His mind was clouded with so many thoughts. 'What the hell am I doing? What if he hates me after this?'

Kageyama knew it was too late to turn back so he said exactly how he felt. "Hinata, I like you." He awaited an answer, expecting it to be something like "Ew" or "I hate you" but all he heard was "I like you too." These words slipped from Hinata's mouth and a smile appeared on his face.

"You do?" He was surprised and squeezed him tighter. A surge of happiness ran through him seeing that his feelings were returned. "I can't believe you didn't know. I thought it was pretty obvious." Hinata chuckled.

"It wasn't obvious at all." Kageyama said, frustrated at himself for not realizing this. "Don't worry about it, Bakageyama." Hinata was having too much fun with teasing him. "Hey! Don't call me that!"

"Alright, alright. I'll stop." He held Kageyama's hand and pulled him back over for them to sit on the bed. "Did we finish the movie? Let's watch another!"

"Yeah, let's do that." He had never been happier and he didn't want this moment to end. Of course, it was just the beginning of a new relationship.
