Oikawa wasn't jealous of your new friend, per say, but he was a little peeved at how close they started getting to you. As far as he was concerned, you were his. He thought he made it very clear to the entire school, and even on volleyball trips no one dared actually try anything with you (of course there were the friendly ones - Kuroo in particular). But, apparently he wasn't clear enough to your friend. Oikawa didnt really feel as though a lot of people were below him, but your friend was getting on his nerves. Flirting, being touchy, and the cherry on top, acting oblivious to Oikawa's stance in the school. So, the setter took it upon himself to remind your friend who was boss when he crashed your 'hang out' (it was definitely a date that you didn't even know you agreed to) and took you home before dark.
