Yamaguchi found it hard to not be motivated with your continued support. Unlike Tsukishima, you actually tried to help him get better, complimented him on his work, and strived to make sure he felt more confident on the court. He liked to think it was partly your fault that he got a serve over for the first time, with your help, for once, just for a moment, he felt like he could do anything.
