There was something about a setter rivalry that got everyone excited. The leaders of the court, battling it out by showing off exactly why they were chosen for the position. When you heard that a few members of the Fukurodani and Nekoma teams were playing a fun game after the scheduled games, you eagerly joined in as the other setter. The game started off easy, just a fun four on four, but then you and the black haired setter got to know each others playing techniques. Then the real game started. Dumps, tips, fakes, and of course, showing off. Anything you could do to anger each other. Akaashi was just as annoyed, but he hadn't had a challenge in a while, so he played right into your game. Eventually, it became more light hearted, and you even spared a few 'nice set's. You and Akaashi, as you learnt later, sparked a rivalry during that small game that would continue to grow. You were certain that night, that he hadn't seen the last of you, and so was Akaashi.
