dean woke up the next morning, almost instantly feeling the downside of drinking. he rubbed his face looking around his room, seeing michael's bed empty. the smell of bacon filled the house and he sighed in relief.

he walked into his bathroom, brushing his teeth while inspecting himself in the mirror. after noticing the hickeys that he certainly didn't have the day before, he was confused. usually there would be a girl next to him if he were to have gotten laid.

running scenarios in his head of who couldve given him the hickeys, he couldn't remember. suddenly the bathroom door bursted open and in came a nauseous cas. the raven haired boy drop to his knees and lifted the toilet seat, seconds before puking up all the fluids from last night.

dean grabbed a rag and wet it with cold water, placing it on the back of castiels neck. deans hand brushed through cas' hair as he frowned.

"god, that was awful." cas muttered, resting his forehead on his arm.

"i'll go get you some breakfast and water, maybe some coffee?" dean suggested, castiel nodded slowly, placing his hand on the rag.

dean stood up, heading downstairs to the kitchen where michael was cooking. michael noticed dean, handing him a bottle of advil.

"thanks, but i think cas needs these way more than me." dean chuckled, filling a glass of water for the boy on his bathroom floor.

"did you two fuck? you both wandered off way before everyone else and now you have new hickeys." michael asked, explaining to dean what he didn't remember.

"we did?" dean questioned, his eyebrows furrowed together.

"you don't remember?" michael asked, handing dean two plates of food. dean shook his head, starting the coffee machine. "ask cas." michael suggested.

"that might make things weird." dean mumbled, he made his way back upstairs to where cas was now sitting on his bed.

cas smiled up at dean and grabbed the bottle of advil along with the glass of water. after taking the medicine, dean handed him his plate before setting down his own.

"i'll be right back with your coffee." dean exited the room again, leaving castiel to sit by himself.

the raven haired boy munched on the crispy bacon, looking at all the posters dean had. cas noticed the guitar leaning against deans bed, wondering if dean even knew how to play.

dean walked back into the room with two cups of coffee, setting them both down on his nightstand. he sat on the opposite end of the bed, facing castiel.

"you play guitar?" cas asked, putting a fork full of scrabbled eggs into his mouth. dean looked down to his guitar and nodded, grabbing his plate of food.

"i can play you something later, if you want." dean suggested, castiel smiled at his words.

"i would enjoy that." cas told him.

they finished their breakfast and stacked their plates on the nightstand, both too lazy to take them downstairs. dean wondered if cas remembered last night, but was too nervous to ask. cas looked down at deans guitar, the older getting up and grabbing it, sitting at his desk chair. he faced castiel, thinking for a moment before choosing a song to play.

he started strumming the cords to she will be loved cas immediately swaying his body to the song. dean smiled at his friend, watching in awe as he played. dean started to softly sing the lyrics to the best of his memories.

cas stopped swaying and looked at dean in shock, noticing how pretty his voice was. dean would always make himself sound bad when jamming to his music. this time, castiel was able to hear deans voice and it was beautiful.

dean stopped playing out of embarrassment once he realized cas was staring at him.

"w-was that bad?" the older questioned, cas immediately quickly shaking his head no.

"no, no, it was amazing, dee." castiel assured dean, the olders face lighting up with a smile. castiel couldnt resist returning the smile.

"thank you, cassie." dean said, setting down his guitar.

charlie walked into the room and said her signature line, "whats up bitches?" she sat down on michaels bean bag, looking up at the two boys.

"i'm rethinking ever agreeing to drink last night." cas responded, charlie chuckled and nodded at the boy.

"i bet, you were on some next level shit." she told him, cas tilted his head in confusion. "you and dean were all over each other." charlie said, sipping on the mcdonalds drink she had.

"w-we were?" cas asked, nervously looking at dean.

"yeah, actually it was more you all over him." she corrected, castiels cheeks instantly flushed a bright red.

"was i? gosh, dean, im sorry." cas babbled. dean patted his shoulder and smiled.

"it's completely fine, cassie." dean assured, charlie let out a small squeal at their cuteness.

"ship, ship, ship." she repeated, both of the boys looking at her now extremely confused. "ahh, i gotta go tell luci and gabe." she muttered to herself before running out of the room. cas and dean looked at each other, both unsure to what had happened.

"do you wanna come with me to the thrift store? im thinking of getting some new shirts." dean said, castiel realized then that they were both still shirtless. he noticed the hickeys on deans neck, after putting two in two together, he gasped.

"i- yes." he answered deans question before asking one of his own. "did i give you that?" castiel asked, touching the bruise below deans jaw.

"thats what im thinking, but i cant exactly remember. i guess we'll never know." dean joked with a small shrug. "go get dressed so we can go." dean instructed, pushing cas up from his bed.

castiel scurried to his own room that was across the hall. he noticed gabe and sam sound asleep on gabes bed. he smiled at the sight, taking a quick picture so he could tease them later. cas didn't take much time in picking out his clothes.

he pulled on a simple t-shirt and some jeans, pulling on long white nike socks. picking from his variety of shoes, he grabbed his white air forces with blue nike signs. once he was fully dressed he looked at himself in the mirror, smiling at himself.

cas walked out of his room and headed towards deans, seeing the older pulling on a jumper. castiel admired dean, watching as he looked at himself in the mirror. when dean finally noticed cas in his doorway, he jumped.

"jesus, cas. you scared the shit out of me." dean muttered, sitting down on his bed to put his shoes on.

"hope i didn't." cas replied, keeping his body propped up against the door.

once dean got his shoes on he grabbed his keys, the pair heading to deans impala. it didn't take long of knowing dean to realize that he loved his car all too much. cas was quick to put on his seatbelt after entering the car, also knowing that dear never looks at the road.

dean started baby, and turned on the radio which was almost always on the classic rock station.
