i grabbed my phone and saw that me and angel were being tagged like crazy on insta so i went and checked it out.

TSR: roomies we got tea. camron fletcher the ex-boyfriend of professional basketball player angel reese is apparently has a warrant out for his arrest. sources say that he attack angel at her apartment and then strangled her after beating her. fans say he thought she was dead. what yall think ?

i sighed and shook my head. this do not need to be on the internet man angel already suffering enough let alone more internet hate.

i scrolled through the comments & surprisingly they were all supportive and sweet. better be cus i will slap a h** bout my girl.

i looked over as i watched angel stir from her sleep. she looked so beautiful. after i felt my phone vibrating so i answered it.

"hello ?"

"chennedy carter ?"

"yes this is she"

"this is detective cooper, i just wanted to let you and angel know that cam was just arrested".

"omg what ? okay thank you so much" i said.

we hung up and i walked back into my room where i saw angel sitting up with a blank face. her phone was on her lap and she was on insta meaning she'd seen the post.

"baby.. ignore that. they have no respect for nobody and they boundaries" i said rubbing her thigh.

"no it's okay. i'm glad everyone knows what a monster he is" she said and i nodded.

"guess what love ?"

"what ?"

"they got him.. he was arrested"

she quickly turned her attention to me smiling. her eyes filled with tears she hugged me tightly.

"you did baby" i said.

"we did it" she said.

a few minutes later jada, mikey, and kamilla walked in.

"bestie your on the shade room. tell them to take it down and mind their d*** business for i slap them" she said.

"like yall must ain't got nun better to do with your life other then being in other people's business" kamilla said huffing.

knowing they arrested cam makes my heart jump for joy. we still owe him a butt whooping but ik that cell gone kick his a** first.

we sat on chenn's bed just talking and chillin. it's definitely a time to celebrate. i watched as angel replied to the sweet messages.

"i wanna go visit him" she said breaking the silence.

me and chenn looked up quickly and gave her a concerned look.

"ion think that's a good idea baby. he tried to kill you" chenn said.

"yeah bestie." i agreed.

"i know but i want to show him that he didn't kill me. that he didn't break me. i just wanna give em h*ll for a few minutes" angel said.

"i think she should. i want him to feel and look stupid lol" kamilla said through her brazilian accent.

me and chenn looked at each other and then back at angel. we could tell she was serious about this and she really wanted to do it. who are we to tell her no.

"fine, but me, kamilla and jada are coming with you" chenn said.

"that's fine" she said smiling.

"i can't wait to see the look on his face" i said squealing.

"me too." angel said smirking.

i walked in holding chenn's hand. was i nervous ? ofc but i feel like i should do this. chenn kissed me good luck and the detective led me to the interview room. i waited at the door as he interviewed cam.

"so camron.. do you know angel reese ?"

"yes, we dated for almost year and then broke up in February" he said.

"and did you talk to her on june 21st 2024 ?"

"no i did not" he said obviously lying.

"did you go to her apartment that day ?"

"no i did not"

"well do you know she was strangled ?"

"yes i've heard it from a couple of friends. i can't believe she's dead"

"camron cut the bullsh** okay. we know you did it you know why ?"

"why ?" he asked irritated.

"because she's not dead." he said and that was when i walked in starring right into his eyes. he looked so shocked he had no words.

"she remembered and she knows you did it."

i sat down in front of him staring a hole into his soul.

"save it camron. i can't believe you would go that far to try and kill me. your a coward and a loser. and the whole worlds gonna know about you. you tried to break me but you didn't. you tried to kill me but you didn't because i'm smarter than you. you will never be better than anyone cam. your gonna spend the rest of your life behind bars. and i think that's enough peace for me"

"i hope you burn in h*ll a**hole" i said getting up wiping my tears.

"camron fletcher your under arrest for attempted murder & assault of angel reese" the detective said putting him in handcuffs.

"angel please i love you" he said.

i walked over to jada and hugged her tightly.

"im so proud of you bestie. i love you pretty girl" she said.

"i love you more bestie" i said.

i walked over to kamilla and i smiled at her. i hugged her tightly as well.

"i'm so happy i ruined his rang rover" she whispered making me giggle.

"me too twin" i said.

i walked over to chenn and smiled at her. she held out her arms and i hugged her.

"so proud of you baby" she said kissing my forehead.

"thank you bae.. & thank you for being here cus lord knows i needed it. i appreciate you and everything you do for me and making sure that i eat and taking care of me, helping me see my confidence again and be me. i appreciate you more than you know" i said to her.

"aww yk you gone always have me beautiful. and imma make sure you know how important you are and how loved you are. your so important." chenn said.

"i love you stink" i said.

"i love you beautiful" she said pecking my lips.

we walked to her car and we headed to wing stop because i'm starving and i love me some wing stop. this definitely feels like a weight was lifted off my shoulder. this was definitely far from over we still had trial, interviews, and all that but i was definitely ready to get back to living normal & playing basketball again.
