i walked into the locker room and set my stuff down. we have an early practice and i was the first one here. i changed into my practice jersey and then got on my phone.

i saw the door open and i saw chennedy walk in. i was listening to jada's voice message that she sent me since she act like she can't type it out.

i felt chennedy tap my leg and i looked up at her and smiled.

"i said hey barbie" she said

"ohh hey chenn.. sorry i was tryna listen to jada's voice message" i said.

"she don't believe in typing do she ?" chenn asked me and i nodded.

"apparently not" i said rolling my eyes.

i finished listening to it and texted her back. apparently mikey got hot about her taking a picture with a fan who was around their age & he was to touchy as mikey would say.

"why you here so early ?" chenn asked me.

"idk actually, i ended up waking up super early and i couldn't go back to sleep" i said and she nodded.

"and you ?"

"extra work" she said.

"well let's go play 1v1 so i can send yo junt back to texas" i said smirking.

she smirked at me and laughed.

"alright reese don't get mad when you end up back in baltimore" she said grabbing a ball.

we play 1v1 and she was shooting mid range shots cheating basically.

"that's cheating" i whined.

"how's that cheating angel ? be so fr girl" she said laughing.

the two played whole court which meant chennedy had the advantage since she was faster than angel and fast in general. most of her points came from fast break layups.

"cheater" i mumbled.

"girl nobody cheated" chenn said.

"that's a dub" she added.

"whatever" i said sitting down.

i checked my phone and saw that cam texted me. what does he want i been told him to leave me alone.

camron: ma please talk to me, i want you back🥺.

angel: cam go away. i told you we're done. you shouldn't have did what you did. it's over.

he called me and i decided to answer so i can say what's on my mind. and it ain't nothing nice either.

"angel please just lemme explain-"

"no don't camron.. i know what i need to know already. what don't you get about leave me alone and we're done. you really screwed up and you can't fix it camron. i'm doing good without you as you can see that's why you on my phone."

"no we can't get back together, and yes we're over now please go away" i said hanging up.

i blocked his number again and sighed. walking to the bathroom i wiped my tears & looked in the mirror i did not wanna ruin my lashes.

"angel you okay ?" i asked.

"yes" she said.

i went into the bathroom and i saw her fixing her lashes. she really looked like she was questioning her worth.

"angel.. don't let him get to you. i can tell just by the look on your face you wanna cry and your questioning your worth. he really fumbled" i said.

she looked at me and smiled.

"thank you chenn.. it's just hard to understand why i'm so hard to love.. that's all i ever wanted was to be loved right & every single person just continue to hurt me" she said.

"and i understand that.. your person is gonna come but you gotta give it time. your so young. you got so much going for yourself. just continue to be you beautiful" i said and she nodded.

she came over and hugged me and i wiped her tears.

"no tears love.. we don't cry over men especially people like him cus he ain't sh**" i said and she giggled.

"ahh there's that million dollar smile" i said.

"come on let's go shoot around" i said.

when me and angel first became friends she was not happy with herself. she had just gotten out of a relationship with cam and he really hurt her. she has such a hard time trusting people and i was one of those people.

it took a lot for me to earn her trust but she knows i would never hurt her or do anything to hurt her. it's my job to make sure she continue to be herself and know her worth because cam took a lot of confidence from her.

we walked onto the court and i passed her the ball. i watched as she did a spin move making it.

"yeahh" i said hyping her up.

"hey guys" we heard.

we both knew it was kamilla without seeing her because she has an accent.

"hey milla" i said.

"hey girl" angel said.

"ohh girl tell cam i said go choke" milla said making me laugh.

"girl she told you he called too ? cus don't do that yk what you did you don't get to just come back into her life when you see she's doing even better then when yall was tg" i said.

"period cus i will cut off his balls" milla said.

"GIRL- lord have mercy" angel said as we laughed.

"oh and you heard about what happened to his new Range Rover ?" milla asked.

"yeah they said someone stole it and wrecked that mug" angel said.

"yeah that someone was me" milla said.

"KAMILLAAAA you did THAT ??" angel screamed.

"what ? he deserved it for what he did to you. he ain't never gone play with you" she said.

"THATS MY GIRL" i said high fiving kamilla.

"you two are CRAZY" angel said.

we continued to shoot around and the rest of the team started to come in. i am so proud of kamilla i feel like a proud mother. because wrecking his brand new range rover is GOOD WORK.
