"...so basically he almost cut my wings off. It was funny though" a half-drunken Suga spoke as he took another sip of his beer.
"Wow, and I thought I was the only one to rebel against that old fart" Iwaizumi laughed.
"Okay, but you know what's even funnier?" Oikawa asked, his head was spinning as he had already drunk too much.
"What?" Suga turned to him.
"An angel, a devil and a humam who sold it's soul are sitting at a bar... It's like a start of a terrible joke!" Oikawa exclaimed and they all started laughing.
Now, this wasn't supposed to happen.
After Suga learned that Iwaizumi is the devil he tried to flee away, but Oikawa stopped him. He told them to not fight and suggested going to a bar.
Somehow after a couple of beers the two began talking about family matters. Suga told him how everything was up there, while Iwaizumi told him stories about hell.
This didn't mean that they are friends, no, as a matter of fact they became even bigger enemies. But you know what they say "Keep friends close, but enemies closer".
Iwaizumi wasn't exactly the type of being to be affected by alcohol, so after a few more minutes he said goodbye to a drunk angel, who said that he doesn't drink, took Oikawa and headed home.
It was really late.. It wasn't even night anymore, it was an early morning. After struggling a bit to open the door, he finally stepped into the house. First thing he did was throwing Oikawa on the sofa.
He had to admit, this human that decided to call him out and didn't even believe that he was a devil at first was rather cute. Iwaizumi came to love his puffy brown hair. It felt like a cloud and smelt like peaches (peaches and cream, sweeter than sweet, chocolate cheeks and chocolate wings).
After now deciding what to do he sat down on the sofa too, he carefully lifted up Oikawa's head before putting it on his lap.
"Ah, what is this.." he whispered to himself. Iwaizumi never really had close contact with humans, the closest he ever got to a human was when he tortured one back in hell, so this was a weird sensation. The house fell into complete silence and the living room filled with light snores which escaped from Oikawa's mouth.
Iwaizumi didn't even feel how he started playing with his hair, how he wiped the fallen eyelash off his face.
The sun started rising soon and that it was only then when Iwaizumi noticed how fond he actually of this human. He would have never thought that he would let a human, a creature that made him loose his wings and trust, sleep calmly on his lap.
He wasn't used to all this that he was feeling, he never had emotions or feelings before so this was stressful for him.
After a few more hours Oikawa finally started waking up, how surprised do you think he was when he found himself this close to Iwaizumi? Not that he minded or anything, as a matter of fact, he was slowly beginning to forget about the fact that he was the devil.
"Good morning princess. You got quite smashed yesterday" Iwaizumi said as soon as Oikawa opened his eyes.
"Yeah... Suga did too.. Ugh, do we have any painkillers? My head is killing me" he asked as he sat up.
Iwaizumi stood up and disappeared for a second before returning to Oikawa with a glass of water and painkillers. The boy gulped it all down in an instant.
"Thanks.. Thank god I don't have work today.. I would die.." Oikawa said and stretched, his bones cracked a few times and that gave him an odd feeling of pleasure.
He stood up and walked to the window, the sun had risen up and the sky had been painted in millions of different colors, though, he could see the dark and scary clouds approaching slowly.
"Looks like it's going to rain later on, I hope it's not a thunderstorm, I hate those" Oikawa said before he yawned.
"Did you know that a thunderstorm sometimes means an angels arrival to earth? Not all the time, but sometimes" Iwaizumi suddenly said.
"What? Really? How so?" Oikawa turned to him.
"Sometimes, if the lightning is pure white color, it may indicate that an angel is coming down from heaven. The stronger the thunderstorm, the higher rank of an angel. Unlike demons who tend to appear quietly, angel like to come with a .......bang" Iwaizumi said and gained a groan of disapproval from Oikawa.
The sun, which had finally shown itself after hiding behind a cloud for so long, illuminated Oikawa's face. He turned to Iwaizumi and smiled brightly, his eyes were sparkling.
At that moment Iwaizumi felt something he didn't want to feel, he wasn't supposed to feel and something that he was forbidden from feeling.
"Oikawa.." he asked quietly.
"Hmm?" Oikawa stared at him.
"What else can I do to make you fully satisfied with your life?
