RULES!

001. RELATIONS! as this is an apply fic as well as an alternative formula 1 grid, so i would like for you to not make any ocs that are related to any of the real former or current drivers. for example, your oc can't be oscar piastri's brother, mark webber's daughter, etc. also, please don't use their real names.

002. FACE CLAIMS! you're allowed to use whoever you'd like (singers, actors, athletes, etc.). you're also allowed to use current and former f1/f2 drivers as face claims, as well as using drivers from other sports like nascar, indycar, and motogp. but also make sure whoever you're using has plenty of resources i can use. AND make sure the face claims you choose are not underage or majorly problematic. exceptions for driver face claims are listed here as they are already being used: oscar piastri, lando norris, daniel ricciardo, sergio pérez, and more will eventually be listed.

003. OC CAP! at the moment, i don't have one! you can apply with as many characters as you want, just make sure they're all plot-relevant. meaning, if you're going to have a non-driver oc, please make love interests, siblings, managers for your drivers, journalists/reporters, etc.

004. AGE RANGE! just like in real life formula one, the minimum age you can be in f1 is 18 and the minimum age for f2 is 17. that being said, your ocs must also adhere to this; i'm not making anyone the next max verstappen. the maximum age for your oc is 45.

005. DRIVER NUMBERS! this is the most important rule. #1 is reserved for the current world champion. #17 is a retired number in honor of the late jules bianchi.

006. FORM ORGANIZATION! you can use whatever you want to make the form (google docs, carrd, etc.), just make sure it's all organized. also, you don't have to follow the form strictly to a T, but please make sure most of what's listed in the form is included and that i'm able to find it when i read your form.

007. DIVERSITY! you're allowed to make straight white ocs, but please be creative. for the personality section, don't just list the traits, i want you to go into detail for each trait. i don't want boring ocs and i don't want mary sues. for the driving style section, same thing; go into detail. backstory is also the same thing; please don't make it basic. you can go all out if you want. i love seeing what people come up with <3

006. PLAGIARISM! don't plagiarize. it's straightforward. plagiarism is a crime. if i find out you've copied someone, your comment will be deleted and you will be blocked.

007. CHAMPIONSHIPS! i made a list of champions dating all the way back to 1990. if you do wanna make your oc a wdc, ask me first and i'll let you know what years are available because at the moment, not every championship year has a champion specified, and i want to give people a chance to have their ocs be world champions if they want any of them to be.

008. PEACE AND LOVE! be respectful to everyone and don't start drama. keep that for outside of wattpad, please and thanks. also, if you are inactive for whatever reason and you never inform me, or if you become a silent reader, i will be killing off your oc 🤷‍♀️

009. DEADLINE! i don't have one specified. however, if you reserve a spot, you have two weeks to get your form submitted or else your comment will be deleted and you would then have to reapply. but, if you need an extension due to whatever circumstance, i'll be glad to give you one, just let me know at least one to three days in advance.

010. TERMS OF SERVICE! you must have a discord account as there is a server i created specifically for this apply fic, and the apply fic itself will mainly take place on there. if your form gets accepted, i will ask for your discord username so i can send you the invite link. my discord is froggiecraftyt. additionally, if you get accepted, you are adhering to both the server rules and the discord terms of service.

011. PASSWORD! this is simple. all you have to do is make sure you're following me and tag at least one person. this is just so that i know you've read the rules.
