DEAR JACK,
Just for you, I will stay.
Another day seems to fade away.
Constant pain is nothing new,
Key to my heart is now with you.

THE WINCHESTERS HAD A HOLD OF ROSE MACLEOD, EACH HAVING A TIGHT GRIP ON HER ARMS AS THEY YANKED HER BACK THROUGH THE RIFT. Falling down to her knees, she had still been left in a state of shock and was slowly starting to accept the death of her father Crowley. Taking a hold of her arm once more, Dean helped her back onto her feet, forcing an angel blade into her grasp to prepare for anything that was to come.
Looking back over her shoulder, she had saw the last bit of the golden glow that had emitted from the small house that Kelly Kline had been giving birth in. The moment that Dean's hand had gripped harder onto her arm, she turned back in time to see Castiel break back into their universe. He had stopped before them with a heavy breath, almost thankful for making it out alive.
Shifting his eyes across the group, he had barely any time to take in the looks of relief and the smiles that spread across thier faces to see their friend had made it out alive. Ready to tell them that he had stopped Lucifer from returning by stabbing him through the chest, the fate he had thought he had given Lucifer was placed upon him.
Stabbed in the back, the angel blade forced its way out through his chest, emitting a bright glow from his eyes and mouth as the last bit of his life had left his body.
Mouths agap, all three had watched as they had lost another life before them. Dean had dropped his hand down from Rose as he screamed out from the pain that had shot through him when Castiel had fallen to the ground. Unable to look away from the body, Rose had known that it could only be Lucifer standing right where Castiel once stood. Tears brimming her eyes, she looked up to Sam Winchester, unsure how to react. Every ounce of her had wanted to take on Lucifer herself but when Sam had met hers, the same pain sat in his eyes as he grabbed onto her hand.
Sighing deeply, a grin had spread across Lucifers smug face. "That was fun," he shrugged. "Seriously, guys, points for trying. Super impressed, but, uh... playtime's over."
Dropping Sam's hand, Rose had been so empty inside that she had not cared anymore. Lucifer had been the reason that her family had been taken away in just moments from each other. Fumbling to grab back on, and failing to do so, Sam was left to watch as she stood before Lucifer, an anger he had never seen in a long time as she stared up at him.
Frowning, Lucifer had looked down at her in annoyance. No witty remarks could come as he waited for her to speak up, readjusting the grip he had on the blade, preparing to use it when need be.
Staring up at him with tears threatening to spill over, she had taken him by surprise as she breathed out a small laugh. Going to open his mouth, Lucifer was prepared to make an comment he could to get under her skin-- hit her where it really hurt. Instead of words coming out, he had been knocked straight in the mouth when her fist collided with his jaw.
Wide eyed, Sam reached out, grabbing a hold of her jacket to yank her back just as Lucifer had done an instant reaction of swinging right back at her with the angel blade in his hands. Nearly falling backwards, Rose felt the tip of the blade scrape across her cheek as Lucifer had tried to get his next victim.
Tripping backwards from Sam's hard pull, Rose fell backwards, hitting the ground hard as the palms of her hands dug into the dirt underneath her. Shooting her hand up to her cheek, she felt the warm blood beginning to drip out.
In an instant, Mary Winchester could take no more of Lucifer. Through the stories that she had heard, she had only grown to hate him more but seeing the pain that he had caused for the three, she was sick of him. Slipping on her brass knuckles she had received from the British Men of Letters, she broke right between the boys as she took her chances against Lucifer next."Get away from them," she demanded.
Straightening out his jacket, a new grin had been plastered onto Lucifer's face as a new comer had came and Rose had been sent to the back of his mind. "Mary, right? Yeah, I've heard about you. You, uh, are certainly living up to the hype." Pawing at the air in front of him, Lucifer had growled playfully at Mary before chuckling to himself. "Look, seriously, I just wanted to say thank you for everything. I owe you kid."
Looking to each of her boys, Mary secured her grip on the brass knuckles before doing just as Rose had and took a swing right at Lucifer. Causing his mouth the bleed, Mary still was not done yet as she had taken several more hits to his face, knocking him further back with each one. Finally dropping down the angel blade that he had killed Castiel with, Lucifer used that free hand to take a hold of Mary's arm for some balance.
Mary has felt herself began to stumble forward as she placed a hand on Lucifer to shove him off. It had been too late for her as his grip had only tightened and there was no use in regaining her balance. Gasping as she fell forward, Mary's eyes were wide as the glow of the portal of the other universe had came closer towards her. There was no going back as Lucifer had been the first to fall through, dragging in Mary right alongside him. The Winchesters had made a grab for her only to grasp out in the open air, watching as the portal had clsoed right behind Mary.
The silence that had soon followed soon after had been deafening. It had felt as if Death had encapsulated them once more on this dreary night. On his knees, Dean had felt numb, unable to find it in himself to bring himself together just as he had forced himself to do every time.
Sam had known there was more to be done and that Mary would only want for Jack to be found. Turning around, he rushed over to Rose, who laid on the ground, staring out at the world before her, just as lost as Dean had been. Kneeling down towards her, he broke her view and held onto her shoulders and fixed her up into a sitting position. Motioning towards the house behind them, he got her back onto her feet.
As Rose had went to take that step forward, a deeper frown had appeared on Sam's face as he reached out to stop her. Taking his sleeve, he had took a swipe at her cheek to remove the blood that dripped down. Rose could not understand how after everything that they had gone through, why Sam was willing to help her. Pushing his arm away, she left the now smeared blood on her face as she headed towards the house with him trailing right behind.
Once the door had slammed behind them, the two had taken off in opposite directions of one another. Sam had headed up the stairs to see if, by some miracle, Kelly Kline had survived the birth of her son. Rose had still held on tight to the angel blade that Dean had pressed into her hand as she found her way towards the room that Kelly and Castiel had prepared for the baby. Walking into the dark room, she had not immediately taken notice of the boy tucked away in the corner. Instead, her eyes had fallen onto the painted name written across the bedroom wall.
Hidden in the shadows, Jack watched her tracing her fingers against the wall as his heart had began to race. Through his mothers eyes, he had remembered seeing her and how she had let out a soft laugh when Jack had shown her what world he wanted to create when he was born. Shifting in his spot, he had tried harder to disappear from her view, causing him to bump the crib that he had sat beside.
Spinning in his direction , Rose held up her blade at the sight of the gold eyes. Breathing heavily, she had soon been found in confusion at the much older boy that stared back at her. Lowering her blade, she cocked her head to the side, "Jack?" Taking a few steps back, she had been cautious of him attacking. "I don't want to hurt you."
Now just as confused, Jack furrowed his brows as he narrowed his eyes at her. Through the darkness, he could barely make out the blood that had stained one of her cheeks and the bloody lip she had received from earlier in that day. Jack had felt uneasy as Rose had held out her hand to him, knowing that she was not dangerous, but she had a new look to her this night that was off-putting.
"You can come with me. I can keep you safe." Hearing her reassuring words, Jack slowly got up to his feet, cautious as his eyes darted around the room for another person to come to him. Raising his hand up towards her, he felt a small smile begin to form as Rose relaxed and gave him a smile that he was certain everyone would have when he changed this world for the better.
Things had started to look brighter with Jack willing to walk with Rose. He had felt safe knowing that there was good in the world just as his mother had said. Even with all the bad out there, he had put his trust into the person that had held their hand out to him in comfort and protection.
Without warning, Sam had taken down everything that Rose had built with Jack. The moment that he had torn into the room, Jack's hand had fallen back down to his side as his gold eyes shifted over to Sam. Holding out her hand towards, the youngest Winchester, Rose gave him a pleading look, "Sam, do not shoot him, please."
Breathing deeply, his eyes had shifted from the boy cowered in the corner to Rose. He had begun to slowly lower his gun, still hesitant towards the son of Lucifer. Anything could happen in an instant, but for now, he had seemed safe, even with that look of wonder that Jack had plastered across his face.
"Father?" Jack questioned curiously. The one thing that his mother had been making sure to lock into his brain was to search for the one that had cared for her when the rest had wanted her dead for the baby that she had carried.
Startled by Jack's assumption, Sam shook his head, "No, Jack... I'm not..."
"Come with us," Rose persisted, "Maybe we can find him together."
Shooting his eyes towards her, Sam was taken further aback by her promise. Lucifer was the last person that Jack Kline would ever need to meet and a part of him had known that Rose was lying to him. Keeping her eyes locked in on Jack, she kept her soft expression in hopes that he would believe her every word. Still, Jack had not noticed the strange expression that Sam had glued onto his face as he had taken in the fact that even through everything, she was still Crowley's daughter. She could lie through her teeth, not bat an eye and smile through it all. It made him grow uneasy at what could come if Jack had discovered that she was lying to him, but for now, he had to take his chances of bringing Jack along with them.
If Rose's plan of luring Jack to stay with them had worked, it would not have mattered to Dean Winchester. Blinded by the loss of his best friend and the disappearance of his mom, he tore into the nursery. Without hesitation, he had his gun drawn on Jack, shooting before he had even seen what the boy had even looked like. This was the moment that Jack had prepared for when he was born—someone to fear him and attack. Screaming out as loud as he could, waves of gold had emitted out of him as he had blown the Winchester's away from him.
Cupping her hands over her ears, Rose had felt the power that Jack had radiated, unaware of the two beside her being held high into the air before thrown against the wall before crashing to the floor beneath them.
Crouched down, Rose had her eyes squeezed tight as she had waited for the wrath of Jack Kline to continue until the world had burned, but the world had not burned. She began to release her hands from her ears as her eyes had cracked open to see what had been left of the Winchesters. Her eyes had first fallen onto the spot where Jack had once stood but his disappearance had been a second thought to her as she spun on her heel, crawling over to where the brothers laid.
Though they had been knocked unconscious, she tried to give them a shake, talking in a hushed whisper as she instructed them to wake. Yet, they had laid there as she had fallen back onto her bottom, running her fingers through her hair as she weighed out her possibilities on what to do next.
There was the option to stay and wait for the Winchesters to wake and follow their plans—risking Dean's rage that they had lost the Son of Lucifer. Or there was the option to take the road to wherever it took her, following Jack Kline before the world was ripped to shreds or the world had torn him apart.
