The only reason Christopher doesn't swivel around on his heels and walk out the door is because he would be giving Felix satisfaction.

It would have let Felix know that he's extremely alarmed. 

Things have never gone this wrong for Chris, and he's convinced that Felix bribed the teacher.

How else can this seating arrangement be this convenient?

He's at the very back of the classroom, with the devil himself seated right behind him.

Whether Felix took a part in this or not, Chris admits that it's perfect. 

Not for him, of course. 

But right now, the elder can think of about a billion things Felix could do now that he gets to sit behind him.

And all of them are beyond irritating.

One glance at the younger is all it takes for Chris to see how terrifyingly delighted Felix looks.

This is bad.

This is really bad.
