                chapter thirteen, sibling bonding

she was hung over. completely and utterly hungover. you could probably still smell the alcohol on her breath.

last night felt like a fever dream. a dream where she wanted to take a hammer in smash it into pieces. but right now she had to deal with her pounding headache.

she couldn't even remember how she ended up in her room last night. she quickly looked down at the clothes she was wearing.

same dress.

she looked around her room for any sign of how her drunken self could have gotten home before she saw a glass of water and tylenol sitting right besides each other. a note placed right besides it.

she got up and the room felt like it was spinning. and it all hurt. this is why she doesn't drink.

the brunette stumbled slightly before making her way over to where the glass was set on her desk.

she grabbed the two medicine pills putting them in her mouth before drinking the water.

she was a lightweight and it was showing a lot. she only had half of a alcoholic drink last night. and it was hitting hard.

the brunette girl looked down at the note that once sat beside the glass before.

her eyes skinned it as she got to the bottom seeing it was from brother. he was the one who had to drag her drunken ass to her room last night.

she was startled when she heard a knock on her door before it opened revealing her brother with a tray of two coffees.

she looked at him weird as the boy shut the door behind him.

" what are you doing here" she asked the boy. her head still pounding. " checking up on my sister, no harm in that" he responded back to her as he handed his younger sister a coffee cup.

she gladly accepted it.

" so much harm in that actually" she told the boy before taking a sip of her drink. the liquid burning her tongue.

" had to make sure my little sister woke up" he told her sarcastically. " you know you get wasted off of like one drink right" he told her. bella rolled her eyes.

" so i'm guessing you do know"'he asked her. " yes joseph i do" she told him.

" what happened to you" he asked her randomly. it was to early to be dealing with this all. and she had a pounding headache.

" what are you talking about" she asked him confused as she set down her coffee cup and walked back over to her bed trying to find her fun.

" i'm just saying there's something off about you recently" her brother spoke. she didn't answer him. she only waited for him to continue to speak.

" you never drink, at least not hard. you don't have a problem with anyone or ever fight with your bestfriend" he told her. she turned around to look at him.

" well people change" she told him. he shook his head. " not in a week or whatever" he told her. she smiled at him. " didn't know the word whatever was in your vocabulary" she taunted him.

the brunette girl turned back around as she had finally found her phone before picking it up and looking at the time.

she was late to meet up with cece. she promised the girl to help her with the scavenger hunt.

" you fucked him" she heard her brother let out randomly. " excuse me" she asked him confused before looking at him again.

" you fucked lucien didn't you" her brother let out. she just looked at him confused once more.

" what makes you think that" she asked. even if it was true she didn't know how he would find out.

" you fucked lucien that's so disgusting belle" he told his younger sister. " why are you so interested in my sex life" she asked the boy. he shrugged his shoulders.

" i'm not" he told her. " just curious on why you fucked your bestfriend" he told her. " do you ever stop talking" she asked him before walking over to her closet. " not really" he told her.

" why are you still bothering me" she asked the boy. he rolled his eyes as he looked at her. her back facing him.

" i'll leave you alone if that's what you want" he told her. she turned her head to look back at her brother. " well since you offered" she let out with a smile before looking back at her closet finding a tank top to wear.

she just needed to find jeans or something.

her brother gave her a nod before he walked to the door. he opened it slightly before looking back at his sister.

" you know i'm always available if you want to talk" he told her before continuing " and if you like lucien, he likes you to you know. always has" he told his sister before he left the room.
