"Somebody?" Emily asked after the question of the sweater and bracelet was asked, "Try Ian. He's doing everything he can to make you look guilty. Your parents should hire you a twenty-four hours bodyguard."

"What about Jenna? What if she paid Caleb to get that bracelet?"

"Wait, when was Caleb in Spencer's house?" Sadie raised an eyebrow.

"He doesn't need an invitation, Sadie. He broke into a vending machine with a spork."

"Guys, I think somebody's watching us." Spencer spoke up, looking out of the large window of the building where three little figures stood.

"Those? They're for the Founders Festival."

"Man, if that's what Rosewood's founding family looked like how did they ever get anyone to move here?"

"I didn't want to move back here." Sadie mumbled under here breath.

"And why were they allowed to reproduce?

"Guys, if Caleb wasโ€”,"

Hanna cuts Emily off, "Can we stop using the C word?"

"We know this is hard for you, okay but we have to talk about Ca โ€” him."

"If we wanna help Spence we have to know what Caleb knows." Sadie leans back in her chair, playing with the paper to her straw.

"Guys, there is definitely somebody out there."

"Maybe if Emily and I cornered Caleb not in school, but somewhere that's Jenna-freeโ€”,"

Hanna cuts Aria off this time, "If Caleb's gonna talk to anyone, it's gonna be me."

Emily turns her head to look over at her, "Will you do it?"

The blonde hesitates for a moment before nodding her head, "To help Spencer, sure."

"Thanks, Hanna." Spencer thanked the blonde before they all stand up to leave the Grille.

"Spence?" Sadie stops in her tracks as she watches Spencer staring out the window, "You coming?"

"Yeah."

"For you? No." She slams the locker door closed and begins walking down the hallway away from the boy, but doesn't get far as Caleb grabs her by the arm and pulls her into an empty classroom.

Neither one of them notices Aria's mom stopping to watch the interaction with confusion after having seen the boy talking to her daughter earlier in the day.

"Seriously?" Sadie sends him a harsh look as she sits on the teacher's desk, dropping her bag on the floor. "I really don't want to talk to you right now, or ever actually."

"I know that you're mad at me, but I just wanted to tell you that I didn't know that Jenna knew you when we met. I don't want you to think that I just showed up on the park bench, and waited until you showed up." Caleb stands in front of her, eyes pleading for the girl to believe him.

"I'm not mad because I think you knew me because of Jenna, I'm pissed because you came her and you lied! You lied to me and you lied to Hanna, who by the way, has caught feelings for you!" Sadie raises her voice, but doesn't get too loud to draw attention to them. "You lead her on for money, when you could've come to me, if you needed the cash!"

"I don't want your money! I didn't want to burden you with all of my problems, like I'm some charity case!"

Sadie scoffed, standing up from the desk and grabbing her bag from the floor, "If you're here to tell me that you want me to talk to Hanna for you, you're wasting your time. Tell her yourself before you leave."

Caleb stares at her in shock.

"What? Didn't think I knew you were just gonna leave and put this place behind you? That's what you seemed to be best at, Caleb."

"A key." His words stop the blonde from leaving the room. "Jenna hired me to find a key that she thinks Alison gave to one of you before she died."

Sadie's eyebrows pinch together as she turns to look at him in confusion, "A key? What freaking key?"

"I don't know."

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย  โ ๐€ ๐Š๐„๐˜? โž Spencer asked the girls as they sat around Sadie's bedroom, the blonde going through her closet looking for a t-shirt that Cassie had asked to borrow for her date with Will. "What key?"

Sadie shrugged, "That's what I asked. He says he doesn't know."

"Was it a key to Ali's house? Her locker at the tennis club?" Emily asked the girls.

"Why would Jenna want that? What was she gonna do? Sniff Ali's old sweat socks?"

"If Jenna's A, she's looking for any information on us she can get." Sadie turns around with the shirt in her hand, laying it across her desk chair so that it wouldn't wrinkle before Cassie could wear it.

"You know, I cannot believe that he went through my closet and my nightstand." Hanna sits with her arms crossed and a pillow over her lap. "What a jerk."

"He's a total creep."

"He's an animal."

"Easy, guys." Aria tells them, looking at Hanna, "He looked through your stuff. He didn't invade Poland."

"Why are you sticking up for him? He broke her trust." Sadie scoffed, "And mine. Asshole."

"He went behind her back."

"He stuck his hand in her panty drawer." Spencer says, causing them to turn their head towards her, "Sorry."

"Okay, all I'm saying is that somebody can look through someone else's stuff that they know they're not supposed to be looking through." Aria says, the guilt of snooping on Ezra's open computer earlier eating away at her.

"You wanna translate that into speech?" Spencer questioned the Montgomery girl, taking a seat on the grey bean bag chair Sadie had next to her window.

"I saw Ezra's website page." Aria blurts out and Sadie turns to her with wide eyes, "Look, I โ€” I knocked his desk and his laptop screen came up."

"So big deal. What's the juiciest thing on his status update?" Spencer asked in a teasing tone, crossing her arms over her chest. "Ezra Fitz has joined the Mark Twain fan page?"

"How about he has a double life?"

"Wait, I thought that you were his double life?" Hanna looks at her.

"Fine. Triple life." Aria says before she sighed, brushing some of her hair back, "There was this picture of him cozyning up to some girl wearing an engagement ring in Italy."

"What's her name?" Hanna asked.

"Jackie." Both Sadie and Aria answer, Sadie's voice holding more disgust than Aria's.

"You know her?"

"How do you know she wasn't his cousin?" Emily asked, trying to defend the history teacher to her best friend.

"Because in picture number three they were licking each other's gelato."

"How do you know her?" Spencer looks up at Sadie, who was now sitting at the bay window behind her.

"Because I had to follow Will around school some days when Jesse couldn't stay with me, and I didn't have school. Jackie didn't like me, I didn't like Jackie." Sadie says, "And let's just leave it at that."

"Guys, seriously, what do I do?" Aria questioned, asking them for ideas on what she could possibly do.

"Be honest with him." Emily tells her, "Explain what happened and see what he says."

"Yeah, and remember, people can look guilty of something even if they're completely innocent."

"Okay, you know what? Screw that." Hanna says, "Make a fake profile, friend Jackie. Comb through that skank's page and nail his ass to the wall."

Sadie laughed, "I like that idea."

Hanna sees the look on the others face's, "Or we can do what Emily says."

"I owe you one." Spencer sends her a thankful smile as she picks up a napkin holder to hold the banner in place that Mrs. Ackard rolled out.

"Awe, cute." Melissa smiles as she looks at the older lady, "Did you come up with that yourself, Mrs. Ackard?"

"Well, if you want people to cough up money you'd better make 'em smile." The lady tells her with a laugh.

Sadie makes a face when she's turned away from the girls, taking a tray of cupcakes from the rack so that she could set them nice and neat on one of the tables.

"Okay, we're good." Ian walks in, sitting his tool box down on the table, "That tent's not coming down anytime soon."

"Oh, we feel so safe in your hands, Ian." Mrs. Ackard tells the Thomas man with a smile.

"Oh, good. We need as many joyous events as possible. This town still hasn't recovered since Alison's....," Mrs. Ackard trails off as she notices the looks the two adults in front of her were making, glancing over at the two teenagers that were friends with the murdered girl, "Oh, me and my loose lips. I'm sorry, girls."

"No, it's okay, Mrs. Ackard. Under the circumstances, Spencer's doing really well." Melissa tells the woman with a dismissive wave of her hand, "Sadie's doing well for herself too."

"Ian, before I forget, the reverend and I are, uh, planning a golf trip but we can't decide between Pebble Beach, Kaanapali, Hilton Headโ€”,"

"Oh, Ian knows all about Hilton Head, ain't that right, big boy?" Sadie smirked over her shoulder at the man, ignoring the glare that Melissa shot her way.

"Oh, have you been there?" Mrs. Ackard turns back to the man.

"Yeah. Um, I โ€” I only played there once, but it was a dream."

"And did you stay there too?"

"Yeah, and make sure you get a room overlooking the ninth hole, right, hon?" Ian looks at Melissa.

"Oh, definitely. The room's got an amazing ocean view." Melissa says with a smile on her face.

"Oh, really? The brochure says that the golf course and the ocean are on opposite sides of the hotel."

Sadie and Spencer glance over at each other.

"Oh, no, that's right. Um I was thinking about the view from the hotel restaurant."

Ian walks over to stand between the two girls, "What do you both think you're doing?"

"What?" Sadie bats her eyes at the boy, "We were only letting an expert tell the nice lady what a great place Hilton Head is. Seems like you're the one that's letting that bother you."

"Oh, Ian, could you help me with this box out to the booth, please?"

"Ah, yes, Ma'am. Of course."

Spencer turns to her sister once both Mrs. Ackard and Ian are gone, "So did you tell the police that you stayed on opposite sides of the hotel?"

Melissa tilts her head to the side.

"Or were you even at Hilton Head?"

"No. You listen to me. I am so mad at you because you hurt one of the people that I care the most about, but I also care about you. Okay, I care about you, Caleb, and I would hate myself if I knew you were out there sleeping on benches and in abandoned buildings, so take the damn money." She snapped, her glare deadly as she stared up at him.

"Okay."

"There's enough there for a couple nights in a hotel and food."

"Thank you." Caleb smiles, pulling her into a hug, "For what it's worth, I'm sorry."

"Hey, I spent my entire childhood making you and Jesse pay me to do stuff that you wanted me to do." Sadie grinned, "How do you think I always had cash to buy candy and toys?"

"I just thought you were saving your allowance!"

"Nope, it was you and Jesse....thought you both gave me my allowance to." Sadie tells him as her phone dings, "Oh, that may be Jason texting me back. Hold this."

"That's Ali's old lunchbox from when she was a kid." Emily says as Hanna opens the lunchbox to reveal that the only thing inside was a flash-drive.
