"They were looking for anything they could find to link me to Alison." Spencer sighs, "I tried to mom to make them leave, but there wasn't anything that she could do."

"I really wish that Jesse could help, but he doesn't have any rights here unless he has permission." The Beaumont girl tells her as she moves on to putting mascara on her other eyelashes. "Anyway, I need to finish getting ready. I'll see you at school."

"I'll see you at school....with your thirty bucks."

"My thirty โ€” are my Spoby dreams coming true?!"

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  โ๐€๐‡, ๐ˆ๐“'๐’ so pretty, Hanna. When did he give it to you? โž Aria looks down at Hanna's phone, a picture of a pretty owl on the screen, one she had found that morning in Caleb's bag.

"Oh, he hasn't given it to me. Not yet...I found it." Hanna tells them with a smile on her face, "And I wasn't looking for it but I found it and I took a picture and then I just put it back.

"Why an owl?" Emily asks her as she now holds Hanna's phone in her hand.

"It's symbolic."

Sadie raised an eyebrow, a smirk on her face as she looked the blonde across from her up and down, "Symbolic for what, Hanna?"

Hanna glanced down at the table with a smile before looking back up at her friends, "Of our first night in the tent. We heard owls."

"Swooping down to carry off their prey?" Aria teases as she stick a grape into her mouth.

"Okay, you cannot stop the romance." Hanna grinned, "Owls and tents and s'mores are all part of that night. Every perfect minute of it.

"Have you two had...another opportunity?"

"Uh, not since he went in the guest room but we do have plans."

The girls all smile at each other at Hanna's excitement before they all turn towards the voice of Sean and Paige, who sat down at one of the tables together.

"When did that start to happen?" Sadie's eyebrows shoot up in surprise as they watch the two.

"Oh, Em. Don't worry about it." Hanna notices the upset look on the girl's face as she watches Paige and Sean in surprise, "It's totally cool. I mean, the breakup was way messy but Sean's a good guy. I mean, he should be happy. Everybody should be as happy as I am."

Sadie snorts as she took a sip of her apple juice.

"You know, maybe I should practice my surprise face when he gives it to me." Hanna says before making a couple of faces to which the others laughed at as Spencer walked in and sat with them.

"My thirty bucks!" Sadie cheers as Spencer hands it over to her, "I love being right!"

"Hey. Are you okay?" Emily turns to her.

"Yeah, we didn't think you were coming in today."

Spencer sits her phone on the table, "I had to be someplace other than my house."

"Are the cops still there?"

"They came and went."

"They actually took your stuff?" Sadie leaned around Emily to talk to the Hastings girl.

"Not so much. My mom says they did it just to shake me up." Spencer explained.

"What'd they take?" Asked Hanna.

"Um, things from my jewelry box, stuff from my closet, a couple pairs of shoes....," Spencer names off things they police had taken.

Hanna cuts her off, "Wait, not the Tory Burches."

"Hanna."

Spencer lets out a breathy chuckle, "No, sneakers. They wanted my laptop but my mom said no it wasn't in the search warrant and they couldn't have it. Look, you guys should know that there's a chance that they might try to pull this on you.

"Sโ€”search our rooms?"

"Looks like I better hide my gold jewelry." Sadie joked, but really if they were going to possibly get a search warrant for her room, she wanted to make sure all of her ties to Jason and wedding photos were hidden.

"My mom says it's a possibility. I'm so sorry."

"No...it's not your fault." Aria tells their best friend.

"Yeah. We know who's responsible for this." Hanna says to her, the others agreeing with her.

"I should have known that that trophy was some kind of trap. It's like I can hear A laughing in my head." Spencer sits back in her seat.

"Does A sound like Jenna?"

"It's my mom." Spence tells them as her phone goes off on the table, "She wants me to come home. Walk me out, okay?"

"Sure."

"Yeah."

"Sure."

"Come on, baby. Hold my hand." Sadie joked with the brunette, holding her hand out for Spencer to take.

Spencer giggled, taking the blonde's hand in her own, the two walking ahead of Emily and Hanna who grinned at the two.

"Aria, come on." Hanna calls back to the Montgomery girl as she clicked away at her phone screen.

"Okay. One second."

"We heard what we heard, Hanna."

"No, you heard what you heard but you got it wrong."

Sadie sends the blonde a confused look, "That sentence didn't even make sense."

"He was talking to another girl and there a lot of history, you could tell." Emily argues with the blonde sitting next to Aria.

"Okay, what happened to being all happy for Hanna? Where'd all that go?"

"Hanna, we want you to be happy." Spencer tells her since the blonde was getting defensive over her relationship with Caleb.

"Well then you shouldn't tell me this because it's not true. Not after we....," Hanna trails off, shaking her head, "...you just, you heard wrong. He could've been on the phone with his foster parents or something or his social worker you don't know. Sadie, you know him!"

"Hanna, I met him a year ago. I paid for him to stay in a hotel because I found him sleeping in a park and it was freezing. We hung out a few times before he disappeared, that's not knowing somebody." Sadie shakes her head, sending Hanna a soft look.

"Okay, maybe we didn't hear it right." Aria says.

"Hanna, we heard what Caleb said and you have to know the truth." Emily argued, "I think he's with someone else and hasn't told you."

"No, Caleb had told me everything and I told him everything." Hanna tells them, noticing the looks the girls were sending her and each other, "Okay, not everything but I told him all about me. And...what you're saying, it's not him. It can't be."

"Okay, guys, maybe we are being a little bit paranoid." Spencer tries to defuse the situations, not wanting to upset Hanna, "You know, with all that's going on we're looking at things too closely, we're getting these details but we just can't see the big picture."

"Guys." Aria catches their attention, all of them turning in the direction that she was looking at.

Jenna's stick taps against the ground, walking by them with the owl Hanna showed them yesterday around her neck.

The four girls look at each other in shock and disbelief as Hanna closes her eyes, feeling stupid that she had actually tried to defend Caleb to her friends.

"What the hell is going on?" Emily holds her Chemistry book to her chest.

"Either it's exactly what it looks like which is bad enough or it's something worse."

"Couldn't it just be two pendants that look alike?"

"Dream on." Spencer looks over at her.

"If Caleb hurts Hanna, he's a dead man." Emily says, Aria and Spencer looking over at her, "Not...literally, I mean...I gotta go."

"She might not mean it literally, but I do." Sadie stands up straighter, "He just better hope that Hanna gets to him before I do."

The two stop to look at her, Sadie moving to speak to her, but Spencer grabs her by the arm, stopping her.

Going to protest against the Hastings girl stopping her, the blonde freezes as Jenna brings her hand up to her neck, pulling the owl from the thick black strap around her neck.

Both of the girls turn to each other in disbelief as the blind girl pulls the end of the owl off, reveling a flash-drive that she pushes into her computer before the two run off to tell the others what they had seen.

"We couldn't see but it could have been anything."

Sadie crossed her arms over her chest, a glare on her face, "Anything from Hanna's computer that he could get his grimy little hands on."

"Caleb that hacker."

"Is that who Toby heard Jenna talking to when she wrote down the numbers?" Emily asked the Hastings girl since she seemed to have been getting closer to Toby.

"Wait, 2-1-4 had to do with Caleb?" Aria asked in confusion.

"You do know what you're saying, right?"

"That Jenna plus Caleb equals A."

"No! He โ€” he can't be doing this." Hanna denied, making Sadie roll her eyes at how oblivious the girl was being about Caleb not betraying her when clearly he had, "Whatever it is, it can't be this. And it can't be her."

"Hanna, no one wants this to be true.

"Has he even called you back?" Sadie asked, "Because he's dodging my calls too."

"Not yet."

"And nobody's seen him in school since this morning."

"You don't know what this would mean if it's true." Hanna tells her friends.

"Hanna, we do know."

Hanna looks at her four best friends before shaking her head and walking away from them.

"Wait. Hannaโ€”,"

"Wait, Spence...don't." Aria stops her from following Hanna.

The blonde is shocked as the younger boy throws himself into her arms, hugging her tightly.

"I thought they were going to be happy, that things were gonna get better." Mike mumbled into her shoulder, hugging the blonde tighter, "But they were fighting when I got home, and this is the first place that I thought of. I'm sorry."

"Hey, no, it's okay." Sadie wraps her arms around his shoulders since they were the same height. "I'm glad you came here. It's just me so you can stay the night. I'll order takeout and we can watch movies."

"Thank you."

"Always, Mike."

"Walking." Hanna paces before coming to a stop, "Just walking."

"So, it's true?" Emily asked her.

"Yeah, it's all true." Hanna says before changing the subject, "Where's Spencer?"

"Oh, she stayed home."

The door to the bathroom comes open, Jenna stepping inside which caused the girls to grow uneasy.

Aria sighed, "Come on. Hanna."

"I just wanna talk to her." Hanna whispered before walking up behind Jenna.

"Hello?" The blind call calls out before tuning around, "Yes?"

The girls stand behind Hanna, watching before gasps rang out when Hanna slaps Jenna across the face, her sunglasses falling to the floor as he holds her cheek in pain.

Hanna moves to pick up the sunglasses, grabbing Jenna's hand to put them in the palm of her hand, "This is Hanna. In case you couldn't guess."

Sadie sighed, turning the water off after washing the last plate and putting it on the rack to dry, "Yeah. He's mad at Aria because he overheard Bryon and Ella fighting in her room after Aria accidentally sent her mom a text meant for a guy. They were supposed to have dinner tonight, but Ella canceled on her."

Will nodded, "He can stay as long as he wants. I'm going to bed, goodnight."

"Night." She smiles as he kisses the top of her head, grabbing his glass of water as he walks by.

"Night, Mike!" Will calls out to the boy on his couch as made his way up the stairs.

"Night!"

"Okay, what are we watching?" Sadie questioned the younger boy as she moved out of the kitchen to lay across the other couch they had in the living room.

"Anything but a chick-flick."

"How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, it is."
