You're a poison and I know
that is the truth
All my friends think
you're vicious

"SHIT!" AMORA HELD BACK A SMILE as she heard Tony bounce off of the shield surrounding the HYRDA base.
"Language." Steve snapped, scowling. Amora released a small laugh, struggling to hide her grin as she gently shook her head.
"JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" She asked as she hid behind a tree. Briefly looking to her right before moving her head to the left and thowing a number of soldiers across the forest floor.
Momentarily, there was another minute of quietude as she hid behind the tree before the next wave hit in. Soldiers attacking from all sides. Her stomach started crumbling inside, whilst the panic inflicted in her abdomen. After several attempts of brushing off the nausea, her eyes tightened into a straight line of determination.
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker technology is well beyond any other HYRDA base we've taken." JARVIS explained, while Amora listened intently.
"Lokis scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last." Thor spoke, content with the idea of their search coming to an end. Amora couldn't deny it, she was glad too. The thought of Lokis scepter being out in the world, easy for people like H.Y.D.R.A to get in their possession gave her nightmares.
"At long last is lasting a little long, boys." Natasha spoke easily taking down two soldiers.
Clint then spoke over the sound of gunshots, "Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." Amora narrowly doged a few stray bullets, ducking behind another tree.
"Wait a second... No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said 'language?'" Tony asked incredously, and Amora could clearly imagine the amusement in his eyes.
Throwing his motorbike at a few of the soldiers that remained in a truck, Steve spoke. "I know. It just slipped out."
Suddenly, Amora felt it. It was always the same, a crushing pain inside her head that came and went in a pattern. When the pain struck, she was it's prisoner, quite helpless in her cage of pain.
She was blinded with flashing colorful spots and craved darkness, quiet and stillness. A vision. Quite often the nausea would overwhelm her. Pain would throb so violently around her skull that she wondered why it didn't just crack open.
In the year since going against H.Y.D.R.A, Amora had gotten increasingly better at receiving her visions. After spending too much time with the Avengers, the visions would appear clearer, but not always quick enough.

"Clint, on your right!" She screamed, but she was to late.
Natasha took immediate notice of what happened to him and sprinted in his direction. "Clint!"
Suddenly, the flash of blue that had appeared in her mind was in front of her. He stared at her for a moment. Or perhaps a lot longer than a moment, before disappearing quicker than he had arrived.
Everything seemed so ridiculously hectic, the sounds in her ears were so deafening and thumping that she couldn't collect her jumbled thoughts. She didn't know what was going on.
She was looking down at her feet, dwelling, trying not to swallow the lump in the back of her throat, the comprehensive fluster stifling her.
"We have an enhanced in the field, guys." She spoke through the comms, looking over at Steve as he stood back onto his feet.
"Clints hit!" Natasha shouted back and Amora frowned as she created an energy blast, eliminating a line of soldiers.
"Tony! We really need to get inside."
"I'm closing in." She heard him explain through the comms as she ran over to Steve.
Continuing his assault on the base, Tony spoke once again. "Drawbridge is down people."
"Clints hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac."
Thor turned to both Steve and Amora, "I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone, the better."
"You, Lady Amora and Stark secure the scepter." He said to Steve as Mjolnir came back to him. "Looks like their lining up." He spoke rather amusingly, ginning at Amora.
"Well, they're excited." She replied, engery pooling into her hands. Steve held up his shield as Thor pounded on it with Mjolnir, the force knocking down all of the soldiers. Amora shot engery at the tank, tearing it apart easily, the pieces dropping to the ground. However, her legs started trembling, her hands weakening until she couldn't hold it any longer and collapsed to the ground unexpectedly. Her chest was heaving with massive breathes she could obtain from the flowing breeze, eyes watering from exhaustion.
"Lady Amora, I would advise a moment of rest before you continue." Thor spoke as he helped her off the ground.
"No I'm alright. Just been a long day." She spoke shortly, trying regain her breathing.
"Find the scepter." Thor said, before flying off, leaving both Steve and Amora to nod in comfirmation.
...
"Baron Strucker. Hydras number one thug." Steve spoke as he entered the room with Amora following behind.
"Technically, I'm a thug for S.H.I.E.L.D."
Lifting her head from gazing around the room Amora turned to Strucker, "Then technically your unemployed."
"Where's Lokis scepter?"
"Don't worry, I know when I'm beat." He spoke, his face void from emotion. "You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope."
"I'll put it right under 'Illegal Human Experimentation'."
Raising her hands, ready to defend herself she asked, "How many are there?"
Before Amora could react she witnessed Steve's body flying to the bottem of the steps.
For some reason when she turned to the woman, her mind told her legs to go weak, her stomach to lurch and her heart to ache.
However, before she could speak to the girl she was thrown across the room, her back hitting against the stone ground.
Slowly she tried to move but quickly realized how futile it was when she had to bite her lip to keep herself from wincing at the pain that shot through her spine.
She wanted to speak, but as hard as she tried, it was impossible to get a word out between her sharp and rapid exhalation, as she stared at the door the woman left through. It was as if every time she breathed, the air was cut leaving her with nothing but dry air. Raspy nonsense left her lips, and she could feel her head whirling like a roller-coaster.
"We have a second enhanced. Female. Do not engage."
When Strucker turned at last to face Steve there was no trace of kindness. His eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, hard. "You'll have to be faster than that."
Before Baron Strucker could finish his words as he was hit full force by Steve's shield. "Guys we got Strucker."
"Yeah I got something bigger." Tony replied through the comms.
"Amora? Amora, are you okay?" She heard Steve call, his voice echoing.
At this moment Amora was dilirious. Yet her senses were sharpened with adrenaline. She held her breath, straining to hear with every ounce of her concentration through the pain. She could make out a voice, someone calling her name in the distance. She knew it was Steve. However, everything was hazy as if underwater. Sounds faded into nothing.
"Amora? Are you okay?" It was a girl. The girl she had just seen a few minutes prior.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." She refused to move her eyes from the girl, even as her lips trembled and her shoulders heaved with emotion, unwilling to back down.
The dark lashes of this Amora brimmed heavy with tears; her hands clenched into shaking fists, in a desperate battle against the grief.
"Everything's going to be okay. I won't leave I promise." The girl spoke again.
"Yeah. Yeah, I know Wanda." A lone tear traced down her cheek, and just like that, the floodgates opened.
She wept, tears streaming from her green eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing from her throat.
"I know you won't."
"Wanda?"
